During the playoffs, Felix Jones averaged 7.3 YPC, and that's against Viking and Eagles D. It's clear to me that we still need boosts to the running game. 6.0 YPC is unrealistic.

This has more to do with PRO-TAK (or 99 SPD rookies) than anything else.

This can be an issue running up the middle. I guess this is why people do tosses. The toss itself wouldn't be an issue if Madden intelligently let you switch manual control to the closest linebacker, but more times than not it switches you to the wrong defender. I've seen my linebacking core get sucked up into blocks on tosses countless times as the running back hits the edge and gets a huge gain, and it is done by the user control. They move up slightly to pull the linebackers into the blockers, then move down and around.

As others have seen too, the other issue is a running back being able to break free of a massive gang tackle.
 
I need to try more tosses, because against the CPU, they can be as disaster filled, as trying to run up the middle is (to me). On tosses, DB's and LB's can just "glitch" through the TE or the Guard's that are pulling that direction, usually tackling for a loss or no gain.

Up the Middle, there's a high % of DT's that just eat up the Guards at the same time as handoffs. Sooo many runs are stop as soon as you actually get control of the RB (to me).

Yeah, I was at college when we played. I think the reason it actually worked was that I pulled an all nighter and played you at 7 AM cst. Fewer people on the connection.

Next weekend I should be able get in a game at home, maybe two.

I can relinquish control of the Texans if people want, but since I can only control one team at any given moment, and Matrix wanted me to use his team, I'm still using both, in my head at least.

I don't mean to be a dick, but it's SO MUCH easier to just PM the person you're playing with, than having to sort through the thread looking, for your name, when you're already busy. Two people said they haven't seen me posting in the thread recently..If either had PMed me instead of wondering where I went, they'd have got a reply by now.
I've played countless league games, and for 90% of them I'm the first person to initiate contact, and I do so via a PM..it seems to work well.

Yeah, I told Wellington it was too slow and it should be sped up, but I was just giving him that other gif as an example. Didn't know he was gonna post it. :P

It was on in the background while I was doing other stuff, but yeah I did wait longer than I usually would have for someone to show up.
 
not for nothing, i'm out of town from Friday 7am til like Monday night. So i rather the league advance before i leave. Will it, nope.

Fiddy checked in up above and is playing 2 days in 2 games. I think DM should play the cpu or ask for a fill in.

It's too bad we didn't take advantage of Boob's bye, but it can't be helped. :(
 
GG Fifty. The end was making me nervous. Hell of a shootout though. I couldn't believe the shit that happened at the beginning of the 2nd half though, fucking crazy.
 
If the point of the game wasn't to win, but to produce close and ridiculously entertaining games, I'd be the league champion. Shame about the not winning part.
 
I was never THAT good. I would win maybe one playoff game at best, and make it in as a wildcard. I'm happy to be below average now, as long as the games are entertaining and I'm progressing the league. My life isn't defined by my Madden performance.
