The toss itself wouldn't be an issue if Madden intelligently let you switch manual control to the closest linebacker, but more times than not it switches you to the wrong defender. I've seen my linebacking core get sucked up into blocks on tosses countless times as the running back hits the edge and gets a huge gain, and it is done by the user control. They move up slightly to pull the linebackers into the blockers, then move down and around.
As others have seen too, the other issue is a running back being able to break free of a massive gang tackle.
I need to try more tosses, because against the CPU, they can be as disaster filled, as trying to run up the middle is (to me). On tosses, DB's and LB's can just "glitch" through the TE or the Guard's that are pulling that direction, usually tackling for a loss or no gain.
Up the Middle, there's a high % of DT's that just eat up the Guards at the same time as handoffs. Sooo many runs are stop as soon as you actually get control of the RB (to me).

I can relinquish control of the Texans if people want, but since I can only control one team at any given moment, and Matrix wanted me to use his team, I'm still using both, in my head at least.
I don't mean to be a dick, but it's SO MUCH easier to just PM the person you're playing with, than having to sort through the thread looking, for your name, when you're already busy. Two people said they haven't seen me posting in the thread recently..If either had PMed me instead of wondering where I went, they'd have got a reply by now.
I've played countless league games, and for 90% of them I'm the first person to initiate contact, and I do so via a PM..it seems to work well.
