One of my LBs has 7 sacks but when you sort by sacks he doesn't show up on the list.

for some reason it wont show it under league leaders until the week has advanced (if he had any against me). i had this problem with tarrell brown not showing in league leaders for int's but now he shows up

You're probably right, I kept sorting sacks the last few weeks but he would never show up, thought it might be a bug.

GG Nightz. I feel lucky that both of my fumbles were overturned...even though Madden still counted them as turnovers.

GG. Yeah those two overturns were pretty demoralizing. I'm gunning for Sanjuro's record for picks. Probably should have practiced more before the league started.

Smokey if you can play sometime tomorrow let me know. I know you said you work till late but if there is a time that works better late I can try staying up a bit longer.

I swear I couldn't see what you guys were so addicted to in GW2.

Borderlands 2 is actually becoming less fun the more I play it, the game really lacks any type of challenge.

GG Wellie. I can't tell where my sucking ends and my team sucking begins, so it's nice to see you doing well with an equally terrible team.

GG cola. I thought you were going to storm back with the two quick scores right before half.

I really hope our next game falls on a weekend. Waking up this early for Madden really sucks.

Why did you have to wake up so early to play?

Colasante's work schedule is 4 PM to 4 AM Tuesday to Friday. We literally had no window before the advance other than me trying to fit it in before work. Definitely a pain in the ass, but I'll reserve further comment.

@WingozEA

Watch the Rams v. Cardinals replays and you'll see the Rams QB expects to be sacked every play.

Wingo is right on the money.

And yet according to the stat sheet Bradford didn't get sacked once! Jon Skelton got sacked 4 times!

Jon Skelton is gonna have David Carr syndrome after this season.

oh hahahha, I thought he was joking around when he posted his availability!

Also, you're one dedicated bastard for waking up to play the game. Bravo.

I was running for my life on most pass attempts and had to force passes due to oncoming defenders.

I need so many pieces on defense, it's becoming more evident every game. If I didn't need to focus on OL much this offseason I'd completely revamp my back 7. They are awful.

Edit: Thanks for the kudos but I think DCX did the same a few years ago. He pioneered the whole thing.

For comparison the most sacked QB in the NFL right now is Rodgers at 16, which comes out to a 12.2% sack rate. Among qualified QBs Ryan Fitzpatrick has only been sacked 1 in 87 chances for a 1.15% rate. Its possible someone is being sacked on a higher percentage than Rodgers is so far but I think the main point is that anyone who is getting sacked more than about 14% of the time should probably make some adjustments. Actually after some quick calculations it looks like the bad QBs are only being sacked about 10-12% of the time in real life.

So I just checked on Pro Football Reference and they have sack% on player pages which is awesome! In David Carr's record setting season he was sacked on 14.6% of his passing attempts.

Right now 6 people in the league are ahead of that pace, and another 3 or 4 are right on the cusp.

In real life there are only 4 QBs in the double digit percentages and Rodgers is the worst at 12.2%

OTOH the Yards per pass attempt in this league are WAY higher than in real life. There are 10 players averaging better than 10 yards per attempt in this league. In real life NO ONE is over 10 yards per attempt.

Thanks for the work Bluemax. I wish I had taken a couple more sacks and threw less ints tho.

Yeah the flaw with just looking at sacks and sack percentage is that it doesn't give us any idea how many other times the QBs were under pressure or hit. You can probably extrapolate a bit from things like completion percentage and interceptions.

Matt Ryan and Jake Locker are both near the bottom in sack% but they've thrown a lot of INTs!

I wonder what the Spike rating is for a lot of us. For those unfamiliar, its a rating someone came up with recently that basically reviews a teams offensive snaps and says what percentage of offensive plays they would have been better off simply spiking the ball instead of running whatever play they ran.

I think my second half against Luke just double my sack (and int) numbers. Fuck. I need to take the ball out of Fraudgers hands.

Also, who wants Jennings?
