Finally picked up a Wii U. Price matched the bundle from Target to Best Buy, used the B1G1 40% off of Wii U games promotion as well as the GCU 20% discount and then had a credit of $25 when you spend $250 at Best Buy through Amex.

After all that, total cost of the Wii U Bundle with Mario Kart and Smash was $325. My brother sent me a $10 promo code but I got it too late.

I can finally lose to CB!

It works, and is usually the best controller, for most of the games that don't require the gamepad so it's a better investment than a GC controller since that only works for smash so far. It's just a standard controller but the battery life is excellent!

Damn you beat the shit out of us using the gamepad! Smash is one of the few games that I can't use the gamepad with.

CB Jimmy Smith--who was tagged last offseason--will not be offered a new deal. I would love to keep him, but his contract demands are out of control. Wants $24.2M for 4 years. Our initial proposed offer is less than half that. Going to have to let him walk.
