While in principle all good items, that doesn't mean they're the best choice for every game you play as a character. Sometimes you have to adjust based on what opponents are capable of.
I was about to get blink, but fairly early on I just realized I needed health regeneration more than anything else. Once I had that, I rolled their team. 10/4/18.
Would I do it next game with him, maybe not, it's not an item I pick up often at all. Not saying your wrong on items, but it's what worked for me in this particular match. =/

I was trying to be nice by giving you advice. I mean it sounds like the game you played in was low tier enough that item builds didn't even matter, but I was just trying to enlighten you on how to use the hero more effectively. Blink should be your first big item (generally after your bottle/mana boots/etc). You'll get all the regen you need early on from the bottle/rune control. The blink dagger is important because it guarantees so many kills early on by making your stun/toss combo hit every time.

Heart definitely isn't terrible for later on, but you will be much more effective earlier in the game if you get some of those other items. Tiny can snowball very easily that way.

You should be fine with a refurb. If you had the skills to re-apply the heat paste on your current 360 it would likely be fine. 8-9 years of use that paste is bound to be dried up or have a couple of spots where it's not doing a good job pulling the heat off the chip anymore.
