Once finals are over and all my grades posted... so sometime this coming week!
Figured out I can at least record the replay of my races without much performance decline.
This was my first race coming off of a 8 race, beginners kart racing season, so it took some time to get used to the handling difference.
Tried to show off a couple different cameras after the first lap. First lap is the view I race in.

this episode was pretty boring except for a couple scenes. making my way through the books and it's quite a slog in spots :/

i really don't care about the series tbh. the clippers are a better team, and mchale is an idiot. i am looking forward to the offseason where fat elvis fires mchale and he himself gets put on notice.

I gave up on GOT. I will just binge watch towards the end of the season.
When the guy takes his wheelchair and goes around all the cars and shit...I was cracking up for a while on that scene.
I basically only keep watching because I need to do something from 9-10 before Silicon Valley comes on.
Pretty excited for that guy to be a recurring character
the problem with GoT for me is that I just want dragons and battles and scenery and mystical shit
it ends up mostly a soap opera with good production values and tits
I hated that scene
same thing with the monkey part
and that repetitive bitch on Veep (I know that was the point)

Veep is the best on HBO. And now they've added House! I read ASoIaF and the show is starting to diverge from it a lot this season, so it's been surprisingly intriguing to me. Especially since this is the real dull part of the books.
Silicon Valley is good but I'm really just watching it because it's in the middle of GoT, Veep, and John Olliver. They shouldn't have killed the original investor in Silicon Valley, his scenes were the best part of the show. His death was hilarious tho.

This season is a little slower, but season 4 was wrapping up a bunch of other story lines that this season is pretty much a soft reboot of many story arcs.
So to compare it to season 4 is a little unfair.

I recently got my first ever notice for downloading Billy Joel's music. I've been afraid to get anything since.
Bite your tongue. She's Always a Woman is tremendous. He's got some hot garbage, but definitely a few gems. As a piano player and songwriter, he's someone I've gotta listen to.
But now I'm afraid to get anything else. I've resorted to listening to music on Youtube like a pleb. Woe is me.
Book 4 of a song of ice and fire sucked so I can see why the show seems slower. Back half of book 3 was the peak and then everything has slown down. Though I haven't read book 5 yet. Took ez advice and stopped reading the books. I'll keep up with the storyline on the show from now on.
I do need to start something new soon. Midway through the last book of wheel of time. Probably start Mistborn next. Need to keep the Sanderson ride going.

Did you know that GURM got his start writing soap operas? The first chapter of the book makes you think this is gonna be a series about ice zombies from the mystic north. Every chapter thereafter makes you realize this is a series of awful sex scenes and torture porn.
never read the books, but that opening scene of the show (same scene) definitely tricked me
