Any room for a new person to the league? I've been playing online football since 2K1 on Dreamcast, including every online madden since '03. I wasn't kidding about the fins thing either!

All Sim, no cheese. If I had to estimate my career online football record, I'd be a smidgen over .500 (probably 2 games over 500, :lol). I finish my games though, no doubt.

Maybe if that lawblog guy doesn't show up, FMT can give knee the spot. MWS is out and if knee is a Dolphins fan, it may all fall into place. \

Just figured I'd give a update. I got in on the live.com cash back rewards deal and thought I had a ps3 when all of a sudden the ebay user pulled it off ebay after I had paid. Thankfully paypal got all my money back. So I am actively trying to get one, but we'll see if it happens before madden. I do want the saints though if I am in.

After seeing the e3 conferences I don't really see a need for the PS3 atm so I'll be sticking with my 360 for the time being, unless some big deal comes about (like getting in on the 30% live cash back rebate, but since that didn't work the first go around and I almost lost some money I probably won't even try that again). Oh well maybe next year.

Thanks for the impressions, btw. No one is covering the PS3 version at all. Not one screen has been shown and even the Sony and EA conferences showed CG. It's nice to have an actual Madden player give first hand impressions, too. If it's the same as the 360 version, but with a few menu stutters, then I guess I can live with it. :\

Sounds like the NCAA PS3 demo, where these problems are gone with the final version.

EA did say the did slow down the game speed somewhat this year.

I wouldn't worry about the final build in terms of how it runs.

thank god they slowed it down. go back and play the 360 version in single player from last year. it was ridiculous. the game is like on hyper speed. it was cool online because with the bit of lag there was it made the game more manageable.

not justifying b/c im going to buy the game regardless, just saying a better pace is good!

Defending the pass in All-Madden is almost impossible manually.

Did you guys download the 08 DLC? It includes on-field refs. :O

Oh, and I remembered why I loved Bush so much at the end of the last season. He has something that Fargas and McFadden don't: truck stick!

Plus, he has spin (which Fargas and Jordan didn't have) and a decent stiff arm.

Fargas will probably be third string now. :'(

The other teams in my gifs so far have been Bills, Chiefs, Broncos, Cowboys, Steelers, Bucs (ok that one was on purpose), Colts, Packers. Only those two were Ramz! Besides, I don't even play you in the pre-season. I play the rest of your division, though! 9ers, Chickens, Cards.

And I know you can score. We didn't get to play enough, though. Disconnections and all.. :\

After one quarter it was 14-14...very little defense was played. The game's producer told me that if they uncapped the ratings, Bob Sanders was the highest rated player in the game at something like 110.

As long as we have full control of the regular and post-season schedules, we should be able to make our own. It will require a little more work towards the end of the regular season, but it's doable.

At HB you'll have a couple of running backs that are equal or better than Alexander's current standing.

Your WRs are pretty good. Bobby Engram finally got the upgrade he deserved and Branch stayed the same. On top of that, Burleson is rated better than my number 2 and he's your third. Both of your starters are Route Running specialists and I think engram is on the cusp of Hands icon.

You'll have an "ok" tight-end.

Your Oline is upgraded with the addition of Mike Wahle. Very good line all around.

And you are right about your QB and defense.

The biggest thing you lost was actually Brown. Shaun Alexander's glory days are behind him.
