I seriously can't believe there is not any playoffs or Super Bowls in online league play. You'd think that would be pretty high on the agenda for features with the online leagues.

I spent a lot of time last season looking for great youtube videos to post on the Power Rankings.. Extra points if they were cheesy (ideally 80's) songs sung by the team, like the Superbowl Shuffle If you have some time to kill, grab a bucket of popcorn and enjoy some more examples. I have to do this kind of stuff in the offseason to stay fresh.

according to what i have read online, there is no man lock in this years madden. in other words, you can't tell Champ Bailey to cover Reggie Wayne on every play no matter where wayne lines up.

Really? Wow..that'd be quite the disappointment. I remember us bitching about the lack of that in last year's game. I'd like to know how hard it would have been to add that feature. They had it in the last gen game, so obviously it's possible..but I don't know what it involves on the programming side. I can't imagine it's that big a deal to put it in.
Things like this make me wonder what goes on at Tiburon. Do they just stare at the wonderfully modeled stadiums, or do they actually play the game?

No worries, there's always Madden 2010!
I'm going to be really disappointed if this is the case. Luckily, there are manual on-the-fly subs this year, but that's gonna take forever. It'll be like the days before the put it in on the ps2. :|

Suprisingly, the Vikes show up a lot. They actually have the most in the top 50 out of all the teams and that's not even including AD.

So in the process of moving to a new apartment this long weekend my 360 RROD'd. I guess I tempted the 360 Gods one too many times! :lol
Unsure whether I will be able to get it back in time for Madden 360, so I'm glad we're doing this on the Triple.
As for those player ratings, go Fletch! Best run D in the NFC East confirmed!

Only one of those teams is bad. If I were Gunstar, I'd take the Titans. He likes to put pressure on the QB and what better team to do that?

Any room for a new person to the league? I've been playing online football since 2K1 on Dreamcast, including every online madden since '03. I wasn't kidding about the fins thing either!
All Sim, no cheese. If I had to estimate my career online football record, I'd be a smidgen over .500 (probably 2 games over 500, :lol). I finish my games though, no doubt.
