I've been playing a LOT of the game since yesterday. Awesome game! :)

However, were those full sets of unlockable characters mentioned earlier false? Is there really only
Waluigi, Daisy, Drybones and ROB
? Not even unlocking Shyguy?

are those extra carts really that usefull or what? after i unlocked all the levels, i can't help but notice that im playing the game exclusively online for the most part.

Gah, I really want to play with you guys, I need to boost my loss count!

I have 30 wins and 6 losses! I demand more challengers!

How should I do this? Any input? I'm kinda confused as to how I should exactly sort...maybe some ideas might be helpful

I dunno, Nintendo and their companies (NoE, NoA, NoAustralia, etc)

Check http://frostitution.net/wifi/mariokart/add.php for my general idea

What you will need to do, imo, is rather than allowing users to input text for the country, provide a list (option tag) of countries, so it will make it easier for you to catergorize. Obviously, this would mean you would have to change/update existing user's country info.

It would be great to alphabetize user's names (by GAF, by WFC), allowing onlookers to click a letter of the alphabet, and the list will list the names accordingly, outside of listing all the names on one page.

Finally got my router to work and noone is available at this time of day (edit) who doesn't disconnect in the middle of a game.

code is

335066
976713

Fedex just left, wahoo. Big news. You DO NOT need a Nintendo USB connector, I've just tested my Cable & Wireless Dongle and it works perfectly. I just tried it for the laugh, didn't think it'd work. All I did was enter my WEP key and within 3 minutes I was having a 4p game. Got creamed in the first 2 but regained my dignity by winning Wario Stadium at the end. Great fun.

Use the regions the same way they are on nintendowifi.com

Also, when people put in blank entries (don't fill certain fields out), the table looks funny; part of the border is missing. When you do your prints of the tables, do a check on null, if it's null print out <img src=spacer.gif> and your problem will be fixed (spacer.gif being a transparent imagine that's 1x1 in size.

How is that big news? Almost everyone is playing with their own dongle or router, not nintendo's. Anywa, game is awesome, enjoy it.

Little advice: When you go in the friends menu, if you click on the padlock and lock it, those friends will have a higher priority when you do your searches.

When a sore loser drops out early, does it count towards your wins?

I might be wrong, but as far as I can tell, if someone drops out of a 3 or 4 player race, you get the win. If someone drops out of a 2 player race, so it can't be finished, you don't.

Quick question:

In your friend's list there is a lock that appears next to the person's name. It can either be locked or unlocked. What does it mean and what is the difference?

I think that's used when you start adding people and your list is full the game starts deleting the oldest entry in your list and if you don't want certain people to get deleted you locked them

It's right in the instruction book. Locking someone gives them higher priority in friend searches. But you have to lock each other for it to take effect. If you and I locked each other (and only each other), for instance, and we were friend searching, and there were 50 available friends, the system would try and make sure we get to race together. Cause we're locked.

I generally just lock people I really like racing with on the off chance that they will lock me.
