Just a quick question for league officials. Is there a rule for no-huddle offense? Can someone run it at the beginning of a game, not unlike the Colts?

I don't think the substitution/audible (lol substitutions...EA forgot to put those in) system is deep enough to do that. I could see how it would get annoying for the D since there are no hot routes and such either. Also, if you do the no-huddle too much, the game makes your o-line jump the snap, so it's pretty much impossible to do it all game.

I wasn't talking about me, I was playing someone last night who was using it and owned them pretty good. I was just wondering what the word on it was here, there is no rule in the rule page.

Also, EA forgetting substitutions is ****ing ridiculous! Not to mention that the hot route system sucks too much to effectively use no huddle anyway.

yeah the most you can really use the no-huddle is like 3 plays in a row. Your Oline gets pretty stupid after that. They will either get a penalty or they are so tired (Dline doesn't seem to fatigue) they you can get rolled over. Ror got 2 sacks on me while I was running hurry-up.

Out of boredom I just now changed around the front page a bit. I know this is FMT's baby, so I'm prepared for his wrath, but I think it looks a bit more organized. I took out the playoff standings since they just took up room. Ugh, I don't know. I guess I made it more like last year's site. Trying to fit everything in and prioritize it as well is real tricky.

As of Monday, the 360 patch update is tracking towards the end of the week. As the week progresses I will be following up with a tighter date window and more details.

This game is great. Been toying around wiith a couple of things and it's revealing more and more how some of the omissions from last gen to this game have screwed up the balances in the game. Thank God they didn't put in individual defensive hot routes or we'd all be dead on offense.

I'm kicking around another idea that is fatigue related, but the patch may fix it. I want to confirm it is an exploit before going into specifics, but on paper it seems a little overpowering.

Im with you on this, because I know there will be times when I am traveling, I also like the wait... it makes the league more legit.. we have no more options coming up like we did in the NCAA league(with madden coming) and NBA 2k will not be an issue... so lets keep up what we are doing and enjoy the best league on the net...

NBA 2k7 not an issue?? That will be the league of the year (unless EA gives us the patch of our dreams and fixes the net code).

The players look less like themselves, last year the players actually had their shots in the game now when you shoot everyone's shot looks like their 14 just throwing the ball up. You can't pump fake, the right stick no longer really tries to steal its more of a put a hand in their face. Shaq is faster than Dwade running down the court (yeah explain that one,) shaq also looks like the black version of MTV's Stan Lee production of spiderman and it doesn't feel like you have control anymore. It feels so predetermined. I will be interested to see NBA Live 07 this year because after 5-10 times through the 2k7 demo I still hate it. I figured it would grow on me but its not even close.
