Figures I lose this game the way I did, I expected some crap. I checked the rules and it's not there, but DaddyZ did the double safety bluff on every play on defense. We banned that in Maddens 04-06 because it was a cheeseball defense. What is the ruling in 07, particularly using it on every play?

Well, since me and Wellington know the "Every play" claim is BS why would he still only run the ball with Tiki 5 times? And when he did run, he was sucsessful in doing so, even with the line stacked. Honestly on every play I thought he was going to run, I did it and it never happened...he knew he had a pass play picked from the start anywho. Only once did he audible out of a running play into a pass.

My point being, if he never attempted to try a running game then where is the problem? Did the same thing against Malley and he still busted my ass with LJ...Tiki isnt the same rating but he can still do damage if used!...which he wasnt.

Like I said over AIM, Tiki and LJ are not the same back. LJ can bounce off of defenders and he did, 8 BTKs. With Tiki I had 4 BTKs and 2 of 'em came on passing plays (when you caught the screen in the backfield, and the long throw near the end). Tiki can't bounce off people like LJ. BJac can, but as you saw, 3 carries for 1 yard.

By the way here was my plan for you.

I set up my audibles as two passes from singleback slot, a run from that formation, a pass from singleback twin TE, and a run from that formation. Depending on your D I would adjust at the LOS, since you had already played me in a lot of 46. Same personnel on field, same formations, just passing plays or running plays. I had leaned heavily on the pass in my first drive in order to keep you out of the 46. I saw you weren't playing it so I tried it to get you out of the bluff, no good.

Well whatever, I will take the loss. It's just a shame that we have played four games all time and only one was clean from you, but we had lag. Slot corner abuse in the first, clean second, z gap press in the third, and now this.

does anyone know why gamecasts arent showing up? are people not exiting games properly? it sucks because I was enjoying viewing them after games.

heres how Ive always viewed the 4th down rule. never go for it in the 1st half. never. in the 3rd and 4th its ok depending on the time left in the game and the score difference.

heres why it sucks for a team that is in the lead to go for it. I just played D well enough to force a punt. instead the other guy goes for it and i have to play D again. if thats fair play then you might as well be able to go for it on 4th any time during the game. if youre scared of having to play D to keep your lead then so what? get better. learn to punt effectively. learn to use your 3rd downs more effectively.

what defense? come on dude! you can't hold an 11 pt lead in the 4th quarter when the opponent would have to drive 80+ (and in all likelyhood if you can punt AT ALL, we're talking 90+) yards JUST to bring it to within 1 score? i don't care what you say about the bengals defense, it isn't horrible. you have good CB's, good LB's and a good Dline. I would love to have a defense like yours. Not touting myself up unjustly, but I am #3 or something in the league in points allowed with the ****ing 49ers, possibly the most talentless team (by the numbers) in the game. just play smart defense and the ratings won't KILL you.

I really wanted to go over my weekend games but neither had shown up on gamecast last I looked. The last game of mine to show up was against rorschach. I always input my stats right away, then go to exit so that I'm back on the main menu.

all i'm asking you guys to do is have some respect for your opponent. i can tell you right now i would rather have my opponent say "good game" at the end of it all over me winning the game by using some bullcrap play or by going for it on a ridiculous 4th down attempt. it's not all about winning. everyone wants to win and that is the main goal, but have some respect for your opponents position as well.

Oh there we go. It took some searching. Yeah I did mention that to Konex in a "private" AIM conversation. . But if there is someone that is willing to take over the Colts and actually wants to play this game then please fill my spot. I worry that you will consider me a deadbeat so if no one will take them I will play my games. I wanted to talk to you personally and ask if this was possible not have someone else tell you I didn't want to play though. Konex!!!
The game just runs horribly for me. Well it isn't unplayable but the lag is bad enough that I can't get a pass to throw faster than a relaxed throw. And offline Peyton Manning throws lasers, so if passing is my only real chance to compete and I can't get a pass off for the last 2 games I've played it really is a chore.
The Colts might be rated 90 but their defense is rated 66. Yes, 66. I'm not an elite Madden player at all, so if my defense is bad and I can't pass then all I can do is run up the gut every second play. And that isn't fun cause I don't feel like I'm getting yards because of my skill at all, I just feel like I'm taking advantage of the poor run defense.

This is the weakest Madden game I've played ever. And I'm very very sorry to flake on you guys, but with everything going on I just can't motivate myself to do something that I don't enjoy.
