The Miami Eagles need to shore up that O-line first. Or else, Vick isn't playing a full season and I don't care how many Nnamdi Asomugha's you have on D, you just won't win shit with VY.

Explain ranking the Bears so high. They have the makings of 6-10 to me.

The Pack will end up losing to some scrub NFC West team in the playoffs, just like every defending champ.

But they got RW11, Super Bowl baby!

Eric Walton said:
Entering the playoffs, they were hot. They have a young, exciting offense; a ton of guys that can take it to the house. The defense now has a formidable pass rush and three solid CBs.

I'd say the Eagles are definitely the second best team in the NFC. Can't say the Packers are not the best.

Are you Slo or do we actually have more than one Vikes fan in NFL-GAF?

How can you possibly overrate the defending champs? They are a great team that should be even better this year with a healthy HoFinley.

Because this isn't our first year watching football.

The vultures are waiting for their fall. I can't wait to see how eznark and co. react when they (including myself) pounce on the fallen. Things might get awesome.

But go ahead and overrate them like we do every defending champ. Injuries and the realities of football catch up to everyone in the long run.

One game this past season, Schaub had a helmet button issue so Dan had to go in for one play. Didnt know where his helmet was and was looking for it while the playclock was ticking. Jacoby Jones threw his helmet at him to wear.

One of the few times I saw Kubiaks face turn blood red in anger. When he came off the field after the play Kubiak was in his ear giving him a mouthfull.

It seems nfl.com pulled it from their videos. Sounded like something funny to watch. Amusingly, it was under game highlights too.

Packers already had a ton of injuries last year when they won, not sure that argument flies.

Bears have an easy schedule, stud defense still. They beat the Iggles last year with basically the same team, only difference is the Bears got a better WR core than last year and obviously Iggles got an overrated CB(imo).

Bears only issue they have is the o-line and they managed to make it to the NFC title game without one last year. Gabe Carimi is gonna help a ton too. They're gonna split with GB and Det, like they do every year. I see at least 10-6.

Again, Philly is overrated, just like every year. I see Giants or Cowboys winning that division.

Saints are gonna win their division I think. The question is how good are the Saints D gonna be, obvously Brees is gonna throw like a mad man. ATL is there still too, but I'm not buying them withou a defense yet.

I'm also a Bears fan

You're also delusional :p

Bears aren't sniffing the playoffs this year, no way do they pull a repeat of last year (not even talking about winning the division, just getting into the playoffs). Cutler isn't good enough and his oline is possibly the worst in the league.

GB showed last year that they are the kind of team that responds well to adversity. I expect them to be much better this year, last year they were very inconsistent early on, that wont happen again, they also had a ton of injuries so they can handle that. I hope you are right but I dont see any reason to expect them to fall off.

Regardless if it's logical or not, very few teams repeat. I think the Patriots were the last, and before that was the Broncos and the Cowboys. I think. Packers are loaded and Aaron Rodgers is the real deal, but odds say they get knocked down by some up-start team. It'll happen. If I were a gambling man, I expect they win again soonish, but who knows? Favre only has one ring, things happen.

I don't necessarily expect them to win, but you'd have to be crazy not to put them as favorites to at least get to the superbowl again, given the season hasn't started yet and we're going purely off rosters at this point. It's rare for a team to repeat, yes, but as it stands today, the Packers are the strongest team in the NFC.

You do know the overrated Eagles had the same record as the Giants last year, right?
And that Chicago actually won the division last year, right?

Wow I guess the Eagles are not going to trade Asante then. Eagles play nickel every down and just hope teams dont run. lol

Great now everyone is going to be saying "At least we aren't as delusional as all bears fans thinking their only problem is o-line"

thanks guy, thanks for ruining it for all of us.

Fuck! >_< We better get Chris Carr since we're fucking ignoring all the other CB's out there. Or Samuel, I'd be fine with Samuel or Carr (not really wanting Cro, especially for the price hes asking).

You'll have four losses before the Bye, guy.

I am amazed by his optimism. I would think most would agree the Bears have lost players this offseason and only brought in a guy that basically stole money from Dallas for several years. Their OL was horrible last year, who is their TE even going to be? There are so many questions about Cutler after what happened in the playoffs, and their aging D is even older. Then again he did say the Eagles only move was bringing in an overrated CB, so maybe he doesnt follow football.

yup, if you read what i posted, it brings up things like mcnabb to vikes.

you realize the bears get the weirdest wins every year, and the team is essentially better than last year. defense, defense, defense. they're not winning the super bowl, but it's funny how quickly everyone is jumping on the iggles this year. it's like the Jets last year.

Looks like I bet the Bears are a seven win team.

Not sure how you figure they'll beat the Chargers. Although I agree with basically everything else. 6-10 is likely.

Yes. There is a difference between THE favorite, and one of the top teams (which Philly undeniably is).

the raiders would make the playoffs with that schedule, no wonder 7-9 teams make it out of their

As a Chicagoan, I have long learned that reasoning with Bears fans is a pointless endeavor.

Cue a Dan Pompei piece comparing Adrian Peterson and Matt Forte.

#Texans DT Amobi Okoye for CB Asante Samuel? Makes sense, Houston switching 2 a 3-4 need for CB, we know the #Eagles good problem at CB now.

Who the fuck are you?
well you're clearly a vikequeens fan, so there's really not much of a dialog thats going to go on here.

you realize they had the same record as the giants, who struggled most of the year. they also miss the playoffs if DJAX doesnt have that end of the game return against the giants.

cowboys arent going to roll over this year either, Romo is healthy. you can rub vick's balls all you want, but he's still an inconsistent qb who relied heavily on YAC.

i'd also like to point out that i'm not a iggles or vick hater, i actually had vick as my starting qb in fantasty the second he became starter last year. it just feels like everyone is on the eagles, but theyre forgetting the nfc east is always unpredictable. dallas was basically given the nfc title last year and look what happened. great thing about the nfl.

Well, according to local Chicago radio, Major Wright is on his way to being a cross between Ronnie Lott and Ken Houston.

Amobi Okoye was drafted out of Louisville (I think?) at the age of 19. He's been in the league for five years, still only 24 years old. A bust, mostly, but he tried playing in the NFL with a college body. Just didn't work. I still have high hopes for him.

A trade of Okoye for Samuel? That's an awful deal.
He's asking about the writer/source of the Tweet. He's a Texans fan - he's well-acquainted with Amobi.

I know you you were joking but since I have some time before I go workout I will entertain you.

- You are giving wins to the bears that they haven't played in a while or are making a lot of moves in the offseason. You could have looked at the schedule last year and put the bears at 4 wins so it is pointless.
- You say we are going to split with the Lions and Packers "like always" but haven't lost to the Lions since like '07 and Lovie actually has a really good record against the Packers.
- Our only problem is O-line? That's like saying your only problem is stage IV cancer.
- How have we upgraded at wide receiver in any way? The bears got a guy who will drop more balls than he catches (if he can even stay healthy) and got rid of our QB's favorite receiver - not to mention bff.
- The secondary is still very suspect and lost depth at it. Putting your money and Major?
- One of the bear's strengths with Lovie has been special teams but we are losing key players on those too.

-Stop pointing to last year and who won which division. THE BEARS HAVE REPEATED ONCE AS DIVISION CHAMPIONS IN 20 YEARS.
