Not a Jellyfish

but I am a sheep
I can't believe the Jets missed out on Nnamdi, now what? We settle for Cro and Plax, Moss, or TO?

Definitely not resigning Braylon and at this rate it really is going to be about Sanchez progression and hopefully Kyle Wilson doesn't suck this year.

So, Chris Carr resigned with the Ravens. I'm going to go fucking insane if we don't sign any CB's this Free Agency.

we just need to pay cromartie. i'm not a huge fan but he is better than what we have. i don't care that he doesn't tackle either.

my keys to a successful off-season:
1. obtain a quality qb (through FA or trade)
2. re-sign manny lawson
3. get a center (o'hara, kreutz, i don't care)
4. get a WR (floyd, edwards, i don't care)
5. get dickbag frank gore in camp
6. coax the raiders into signing dashon goldson so we don't pay him

edit -

i honestly meant for #1 to be obtain a quality CB.... freudian slip :(

That makes no sense. Who else would come out of the North?

The Falcons are going to be this year's big regression team, everyone knows that.

NFC South is gonna be serious fight. We repeat as division champs and I'm straight.

One game this past season, Schaub had a helmet button issue so Dan had to go in for one play. Didnt know where his helmet was and was looking for it while the playclock was ticking. Jacoby Jones threw his helmet at him to wear.

One of the few times I saw Kubiaks face turn blood red in anger. When he came off the field after the play Kubiak was in his ear giving him a mouthfull.
That was the turning point in the season when I finally stopped getting upset and started laughing my ass off.

@mortreport is reporting Colts and Peyton Manning have reached agreement on five-year, $90 million deal - average that equals Tom Brady's.

It is Mort though.

Eagles calling themselves "the dream team" - guess they wanted to be the Miami Heat of football.

Also holy shit and :jnc at Zyichi's arrogance.
Bears were the luckiest team in football last year and managed to lose 5 and lose the NFC title to a team that really had no business being there.

(For the record I anticipate a letdown year for my boys but I'd love to be wrong. Could go many ways actually that's why I love football)

No, Vince Young is calling the Eagles a dream team.

I don't necessarily like the Eagles, but I'm not pinning this one on the whole team. Mature Vince Young is(n't) mature.

I take it back, but I don't think Jason Babin is the sharpest tool in the shed either, but that's probably because he looked like a fool when he was here on the field.

Osi is ending his holdout already, but he's not pleased still. This shit better not linger into the season.

@TheBlueScreen Ralph Vacchiano
Osi Umenyiora's holdout is over. He is on his way back to camp right now, according to his agent. #NYG

He also just got a letter fr the #NYG stating they planned to fine him the max $30K per day during holdout.

Source says he has no plans to speak to GM Jerry Reese "ever again" and still wants a new contract or a trade. #NYG

Gregg Williams is extremely happy with the way Shaun Rodgers is practicing. I really hope he goes back to his pro-bowl ways, at least for a couple of years. Dude is a fucking monster.

not sure why we're even having an NFL season when the eagles have already won the title. i guess to see who makes it to the probowl (mostly eagles i imagine)

And here we have the screams of a fan who's team has signed no one and best player is holding out

Man, I'm so pumped for football right now! Bring on pre season!!! Packer-GAF, how do you feel about Alex Green? His youtube highlight videos make him look pretty beastly. Of course, he did play in the WAC.

Edit: Also, did he have a hell of an Oline or something? Seems like most of the highlight runs he isn't touched for like the first 10 yards of the carry.

I wanted the Texans to sign Bush and Vince Young, would have been epic.

Could happen in Miami next year.

VY the next "hot prospect" Eagles back up will be a FA
bush traded tom Miami signed an extension
Mario will be a FA next year.

Win 3 Superbowls there.

I was there at that game, just to see Tebow in person. He didn't disappoint. The guy just has a lot of energy and the players respect him.

Give him a season and see what he does. If he shits the bed, then go for Andrew Luck.
I was at the game in Arizona. The entire stadium was filled with Tebow chants as Orton kept fucking up on the field. Of course I joined in on the chants. I want to see Tebow get his shot to run the team.

When the talk started a couple days ago about his release Houston sportstalk had the Orangeblood fans screaming for the Texans to sign him to replace schaub.

I weep for some people in Houston.

Sports radio some idiot called in and said we need to trade Foster for a CB or something along those stupid ass lines. Host said good bye lol.

Ugh, if the Texans lose Leach....

They're not keeping him at the price he wants. Better to just accept that he won't be here.

Agreed, but so far this week this has not been the Texans I know and facepalm at. Desperation to keep your job will do that to ya.

Hello friend!

the difference between the texans and niners is that our division is awful. texans will go 8-8 and miss the playoffs again.... just like they do every year!

niners could go 6-10 and have a realistic shot at this division!

So NFL GAF what corner should the Texans trade Foster for?

Really dont know what to say. That something to be proud of?

As for the AFC South. It seems like the stars are aligning for the Texans.

1)Indy has an aging QB coming off his 2nd neck surgery, two rookie tackles on the o-line, disgruntled #1 receiver and the starting RB is still a FA.
2) Jags have QB issues, stacked their D in FA to stop the run, which in the AFCS isnt a bad idea but need lots more balance and MJD coming off knee surgery.
3) Tennessee-lol

Texans biggest hurdle is how fast can Wade implement his system. History shows though that he is pretty good at getting it done quickly. Free agency (Joseph, Manning) and the draft (Watt, Reed and Harris) were all defense priority.

The Amobi for Samuel trade posted earlier cracked me up. Eagles would have to go from incredibly smart to incompetent in record time for that to ever happen

i would rather make the playoffs at 6-10 then go 8-8 and miss the playoffs if that's what you're asking. and yes i would be proud of all the bitter tears i would drink from non-niners fans!

Texans just released Okoye and David Anderson.
Okoye - Good Riddance

David Anderson - Funny Guy, good at what he's able to do, but he's like 3 foot 2.

Conan string dance won me over... funny guy too... http://vimeo.com/13667662 <--DA Standup at MLS All Star Event last year.

From a non-football standpoint, sad to see him go (great interview on radio, funny guy) but at the end of the day, Dorin Dickerson needs play time, and Tolliver will probably take the 5th spot now.

LOL not again. Its a huge deal in the sense that it has shown he hasn't changed a damn bit. He didn't want to train with Redskins instead with his personal trainer to bring him back to his Pro Bowl Titan ways but instead the he got ridiculed in the media for failing his conditioning tests. I doubt the man changed but at least you didn't give him $100 million contract.

Belichick hasn't had a chance to sprinkle his magic dust on him yet.

Kevlin Hayden got cut.

Peyton will take $23 Million/year first three years, $10.5 last two. Want to take bets on whether he gets a new contract in four years?
