Serviceable, borderline good. We had him at every position on the line at some point it seemed, so he never really had time to get to comfortable, but I always thought considering that, he did an okay job. Once he kinda got locked into the LT position, I thought he played well. Not much of a rush blocker though. Colts fans seem to vary on him quite a bit, but I liked him well enough. Not great, not terrible. I was up for keeping him, but not if it was going to cost the Colts a lot.
This.

You guys are crazy. You could have put David Boston in that 07 Pats offense and he would have had 20+ TDs. Respect the Lord.
There is one thing in common the top two scoring offenses in NFL History have and it ain't Mrs. Brady.

Bunkley returned to the Eagles and has now been traded to the Broncos for a 2013 pick. He refused to report with the Browns.
Browns front office fail in full effect. How does something like that happen?

Jason Taylor's coming back to Miami.

Welcome back, traitor.

Atleast he knows where home is. And we always take him back. He's like your abusive husband, that you know deep down is a good guy, but he still hits you. You know? True love.

Yeah you would think that they would have contacted him before trading for him to make sure he would show. This does make them look a bit silly.

Patrick? I remember him as a nice passcatcher with the Cards but I don't remember him being able to block.
Pascoe can though, Beckum was improving on that front last year and bringing in Patrick adds more pressure for Boss to get in and sign. Plus, Hynoski has been taking first team reps at fullback during practice so if that ends up being a fit, look for Pascoe to move back to TE.

Bunkley isn't that good anyway.

What a bitch. I never want to wish ill on anyone, but I can't stand players who pull this kind of shit.

For the guys who were interested in Texas CB Aaron Williams pre-draft, the guy is reportedly killing it in Bills camp (fan and beat writer reports). I'll be fine with eating some crow if he turns out to be an above average starter.

Just as long as he produces and is a good mentor to Odrick, I'll forgive him.

Forgive him for what? As far as I know, JT has been retired for a season!

Just kidding. I hope that bitch realized the error of his ways

Steelers re-signed Hoke and Dixon and are restructuring Ben, Harrison and Keisels contracts. So they've brought back most of their own guys while letting El, Spaeth and Starks go. I'm good with that. My question is why they also re-signed Gay and Moore. Gay is worthless and Moore is used up. I'm hoping somehow they don't make the final roster. And I'm wondering with these restructures if they make a deal for Starks. Lots of chatter or clamoring for them to bring in a CB, but I'd surprised if they do.

Reading through this thread on this Steelers forum about live training camp updates via. We have a 6' 8 wr? lmao. wonder how raw he is and what chance he has at making PS.

Yeah, chances are slim and none I'd say. I'm interested in the waves this Baron Batch kid is making. He went toe to toe with Silverback in the one on one drills. I'd love for him to supplant Moore as the 3rd RB.

Receivers are a crowded field with Carter, Brown, Reed a few i forget and and probably a few that will be eligible when its Moss turn. I'm just glad that Monk made it. The problem with Moss is due to his attitude he is only one of the greats but with his freakish talents he could of been the best. In my eyes that is a strike against, it knocks him down from guaranteed first ballot to very likely first ballot HOF.

I don't like bringing back Gay or Moore either; they stink. I want to see them go after Leonard Davis instead of going with either Legursky or Foster at RG. Also, Carlos Rogers is still out there and would be needed when we play the Pats, Saints or Packers down the road.

Same here; Batch is a quicker and younger version of Moore.

Osi sent an email to the AP. He's tired of being painted the "bad guy".

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/08/01/osi-umenyiora-blasts-hypocrisy-of-his-critics/

In an e-mail to the Associated Press, Umenyiora noted that when the Giants felt that Shaun O’Hara and Rich Seubert were no longer playing up to the level of their pay, the team cut those two veterans. But when a player like Umenyiora feels that he’s out-playing his contract, he’s criticized for seeking a raise.

“What really annoys me is the hypocrisy of people clamoring for my head for asking for a new deal or to be traded,” Umenyiora wrote. “Saying I have 2 years left on my deal. These contracts only mean something to us? Where is O’Hara? Where is Seubert? True inspirational football players. They were cut after being injured. They have years left on their deal.”

Umenyiora says that in the NFL, contracts are a one-way street: Players are supposed to honor them, but teams aren’t.

“The fact is in the business we are in, if you get injured, or they feel like you underperformed, they cut you without hesitation,” Umenyiora said. “But if you clearly outplay your contract, and ask for something to be done, you’re a bad guy and not a team player. It’s ridiculous.”
He just doesn't get it. No one would be as bothered if Osi were asking for a reasonable restructuring of his contract. Asking for a restructure and demanding to be paid top 5 DE in the 10 million/yr range is not reasonable.

I think he just knows that this is probably his best bet at a big payday.

I just wouldn't worry about it. You're saving yourself from a useless roster spot.

Oh when I heard the initial news that he was traded here I dont think I even raised an eyebrow. Its not about not having Bunkley. Its about a player outright refusing to come here. I take that personal, haha.

Hopefully its because he has a better chance to be a starter in Denver in what I think is a contract year for him. Yeah thats it!

The amount of money he is asking for himself is unreasonable but the hypocrisy he points out in his email is 100% true.

I guess this is what happens when you have so much money wrapped up in a handful of players, but Im worried about my Colts.

Offensive: The OL is in shambles. Saturday and Diem are on their last leg, and the rest is rubbish and a few rookies. Forget depth, they dont even have the starting line right now. Wayne is a year older, Garcon struggled for the first 10 games or so pretty badly, Collie had some nasty concussions last year, Clark and Gonzo are coming off injuries, and of course, the key, Peyton Manning, is ALSO coming off injury. Behind him.... still Curtis Painter. As a Colts fan, I hope I bear no witness to any era that begins with the words "Curtis Painter".

Defensive: The DT position has not been addressed in the slightest... again, as per usual. Freeney and Mathis are there, but getting a little older. Hughes has the faint smell of bust on him and they haven't resigned Dawson. The LB CORP will have 2 first year starters in Angerer and Conner. Our secondary will have Bethea, Bullitt, Powers, Tryon, and Lacey, but not much after that.

And the biggest kick in the junk... Jim Caldwell is still head coach. (Yes, Im still bitter at him losing the Jacksonville game, and then making the same mistake, the exact same one, in the playoff lost against the Jets. You know, the one where Peyton looked like he was going to punch someone in the face....)

All that, and all the other AFC South teams will be better IMO this year.

I think Chris Polian completely blew it in free agency. We keep fucking DIEM and get rid of CJ??? Get rid of Session???

I get the feeling it's going to be 2008 all over again. Rough out the gates and pray that Manning can work some magic as he gets more time in after an injury.

I didn't say otherwise but I will say that we just had a 6 month labor dispute to iron out issues of player pay/revenue sharing and even a rookie wage scale. Welcome to the National Football League. If you want perceived fairness, don't play in this league. Owners/organizations also have a right to to protect themselves when they hand out 8-12 million dollar a year contracts. Just as players need to do what they need to do get as much money as they can in the open market. Which is exactly what Osi is doing. However, it doesn't change my initial point - if Osi was more realistic about his own worth - he wouldn't be getting the push back he's getting.
