squicken said:Well I seem to be the outlier on this. I never said he wasn't a HoF guy, just questioned whether he was a "slam dunk". In fact, I'm almost certain he won't get in on the first ballot.
squicken said:I not saying he isn't. But is there any season where you would have said "Randy Moss is the best WR in the game"

If it wasn't for the fucking choke job in the super bowl I would be able to watch highlights from that season. Right now I hate the Giants more than any other team in the NFL. If the Jets were to face the Giants in the superbowl I would root for the Jets. I can't wait till the Pats destroy them this season. Fucking Giants ruining my dreams.LyleLanley said:Moss in his prime was one of the best receivers ever. Hell, in 2007 when he was already out of his prime he set the touchdown record.

cool
can't ruin your fantasy team now!
Crazymoogle said:Yeah but TO is still lurking...972yds/72 catches/9 TDs despite a ton of drops last season with Palmer and a horrible Bengals team. Unless his knee is totally gone, he could pull down 10TD/1000yards on a team that uses him in the 1 or 2 spot. (Jags, Rams maybe?)
TheFatOne said:God I had forgotten how sick he was that season. That back shoulder catch against Cincy was absurd.

YEEEEHAAAWW!! Saddle up!
Thank you Jason Snelling for being the final pawn in this game.

Brodrick Bunkley has yet to report to Browns training camp and "no one knows if he ever will."
Bunkley was shipped from Philly to Cleveland on Saturday, a move he couldn't have been pleased with. The Browns remain on the hook for the 2012 fifth-rounder they sent to the Eagles even if Bunkley doesn't show because NFL trades are made "at your own risk." The Browns clearly didn't do enough digging into the player.
Alligatorjandro said:The Giants had to ruin everything that year. But its ok since they have been cursed since they won.
TheFatOne said:Lots of great individual moments in that season. The Baltimore game was great. They should have won it too if they didn't call a timeout.
So have the Pats so it worked out.Alligatorjandro said:But its ok since they have been cursed since they won.

Losing week 1 against the fins. Every year they manage to somehow fill me up with hope. I don't feel that now, so they will give it to me week 1.TheFatOne said:Pats are going to be at the top again this season I can feel it. 19-0 season is coming

You're wearing one of those T-Shirts they had to send to third world countries after '07 aren't you?TheFatOne said:19-0 season is coming

I can't see how this is even a question.Slo said:Randy Moss not a first ballot guy? LOL. Dude was the best WR in the game for most of his career in Minney.
Wellington said:I can't see how this is even a question.
This is a man that since 1998 has failed to put up 1000 yards in a season only 3 times. He was hurt one of them, had no QB or desire to play in his second year in Oakland, and saw little in the way of looks in 2010. The dude is not a workout warrior, it was all god given talent and ability. His level of productivity for that many years is insanity.
squicken said:There's a HUGE logjam of WR for the HoF. Lots of big stats guys can't get in. Will they put Cris Carter/Tim Brown in before Moss is eligible? Will he jump those guys if they aren't in? The HoF has no idea what to do with the WRs and the numbers they put up over the last 15 yrs.
It's not the slam dunk you guys think it is.
it doesn't matter if cris carter and/tim brown aren't in before moss is eligible, he'll jump them. i'm not even a randy moss fan, but you can't deny he's a sure fire first ballot hall of famer.squicken said:There's a HUGE logjam of WR for the HoF. Gigglepoo said:Yes it is. Moss and TO are the two best WRs from this era. They'll leap everyone when they're eligible.
Wellington said:The two most productive offenses in NFL history have one person in common and it's Randy Moss. Not saying he is the sole reason, but he is a big part of it.
