Not just Jeff George, but Jeff George and Shaun King.

You think the Redskins would go for a Ramsey-Harrington trade, straight up?

Not if the Skins are stupid. William Clay Ford doesn't get involved like that. Dan Snyder will break him down to the bitch level he deserves to be at

Currently tied for first in the GAF Experts Pick'em League. The pressure is on!

New England at Pittsburgh, 4:15 p.m.
N.Y. Giants at San Diego, 8:30 p.m.

Monday, Sep. 26th
Kansas City at Denver, 9:00 p.m.

GARGH because I've never used Yahoo for my pick 'em leagues before I forgot to put my GAF picks in last week. Needless to say that will never happen again. In my other leagues I'm on a grand total of 11, so it's not like it would have been a giant leap for me, but I sure as hell wouldn't be dead last. :/

Atlanta at Buffalo, 1:00 p.m. - BILLEVE
Carolina at Miami, 1:00 p.m.
Cincinnati at Chicago, 1:00 p.m. - the most interesting game of the week. Are both these teams for real?
Cleveland at Indianapolis, 1:00 p.m. - I shudder to think of what the score might wind up being
Jacksonville at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 p.m. - If you can hold Peyton down, you can sure as hell hold the Jets down
New Orleans at Minnesota, 1:00 p.m. - I'm loathe to pick the Aints, but I'm not picking Minnechoka until they actually win a damn game
Oakland at Philadelphia, 1:00 p.m. - Tough schedule for Oakland. They're better than their eventual 0-3 record
Tampa Bay at Green Bay, 1:00 p.m. - See Vikings
Tennessee at St. Louis, 1:00 p.m.
Arizona at Seattle, 4:05 p.m.
Dallas at San Francisco, 4:05 p.m.
New England at Pittsburgh, 4:15 p.m.
N.Y. Giants at San Diego, 8:30 p.m. - Don't let me down for three straight weeks, Superchargers!

Monday, Sep. 26th
Kansas City at Denver, 9:00 p.m. - not picking against KC until they lose

Son of a bitch.. so you are.... I'll have NONE OF THAT DAMMIT! First place is mine and mine alone.... GET THEE BACK!!!! ;) This week should be interesting...

You're not doing as well managing your confidence points in the other Pick Em League though...

Fantasy Help! Who would you start..

Bills D at home vs ATL - Vick possibly out
Cinci's D vs DA BEARS in chicago -

I had buffalo the first week and stuck with them in week 2 and it basically cost me my matchup. 2 points where the Bungles D was on the bench with 26! (stupid vikes)

Yeah had to bring that up didn't you? ;) That's ok. I see a turnaround coming in the confidence point league coming real soon. :D

Panthers back in the news. I demand someone put an asterisk next to every game in their superbowl run. :lol

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2168627

James M. Shortt was charged with 29 counts of distributing steroids and human growth hormones as well as a conspiracy charge, U.S. Attorney Johnny Gasser said Wednesday. The indictment did not specify who received the drugs.

But a person familiar with the indictment said they were current and former members of the Carolina Panthers
, bodybuilders and at least one police officer. The source spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, and did not name players.

A CBS News report in March identified center Jeff Mitchell, tackle Todd Steussie and punter Todd Sauerbrun as having filled steroid prescriptions written by Shortt. Several other former Panthers have also been named as Shortt's patients in subsequent media reports.

All we know is at least two of them refilled their perscriptions during the playoff run and that any number of Panthers were using performance enhancing drugs, they havent said exactly how many. The NFL doesnt want to make a big deal out of this which I can understand but your team was aided by illegal substances during your superbowl run. Thats a fact. They have to live with it, not me.

*sigh* Whatever. I can't help the fact that you're just a bitter, bitter man.

:lol :lol :lol @ Chad Johnson

On ESPN they showed his locker, and pinned on a wall next to it he had a list "People that are supposed to cover 85 in 2005" and under it was a checklist with yes and no.

Gary Baxter - Yes NO
Fred Smoot - Yes NO
Jerry Azumah - Yes No
etc.

A checklist of every CB that he will matchup against. Fucking brilliant. :lol :lol :lol

Oh, its on Sunday.

I can't believe Bengals fans are talking so much shit after beating up on two pourous defenses.

Now, I don't know if the Bears will win, but I don't see them getting blown out. Especially at home. Most Bengals fans seem to think their team is going to beat the Bears, in Chicago, by 20 to 30 points.

They say the Bengals team will be for real after beating down a great defense on Sunday. Well, I say Sunday is a great chance for the Bears to make a statement they are for real by shutting down the current number one offense in the NFL and getting a W. :)

eric johnson has been place on IR by the 49ers, thereby ending his season before he ever got to play a down. fucking bullcrap dude. some of you may say "what difference does it make!" but it's not easy to replace an 82-catch TE, especially when we aren't exactly overflowing with offensive talent as it is.

we can't catch a break the past few years :(

Yeah, they're going to miss all of those short dump-off passes and all two touchdowns he provided last year.

"Panthers hadn't hit McNabb, we would have been superbowl champions, no doubt.... no doubt in my mind..."

Hey, im doing a public service by spreading the word that the panthers were juicing during their superbowl run. It hurts the integrity of the game. We cant let the NFL to sweep it right under the rug only to watch it happen again in a couple of years. SPREAD THE TRUTH MY FRIENDS!! :lol

Ugh, we cant go one week without having issues. I wonder if every eagles game will be built up like a heavy weight title fight. It is pretty funny though.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens wasted no time in building the pre-game hype surrounding this week's upcoming matchup with fellow superstar wide receiver Randy Moss and the Oakland Raiders. Dubbed a matchup of the NFL's two finest wide receivers by many, Moss has a long history of brushing off Owens as a threat to the throne. On his radio show in Miami, Owens decided he'd have enough of Moss's disrespect.

"He says he's a better athlete than me? I can beat him at anything. Name a sport, I'll bet you I'm better at it. Be it football, basketball, bowling, track...I do them all at a higher level than he could even dream of."

"He's always saying how he's dominating with his athleticism and I'm not...where's his 9.02 100? (yard dash) I won the event two years in a row at Superstars. If he seriously thinks he's faster than me, we can race before the start of the game. All the procedes will go to the 'Derek Smith Make-a-Tackle foundation.'"

Moss got wind of Owens' comments today during a practice session and offered a little smack talk of his own.

"Just look at the numbers. Look at the big plays. I dominate on the field in ways that he could only dream of. I don't care about his 100 time, his 40 time, what his bowling average is...he don't see the type of coverages I see. I make corners like Ken Lucas and Charles Woodson look like Ahmed Plummer. I don't need no All-World quarterback to throw me the football to put up big numbers."

Truth be told, Owens led all NFL wideouts in receptions of 40+ yards last season. In what is shaping up to be an interesting matchup, Owens and Moss just added more energy.

Edit: apparently false but still entertaining. :lol

:lol :lol :lol OMG that had me rolling

:lol

Damn, look at Owens and Moss both taking shots at the 49ers for no apparent reason! The Derek Smith Make-a-Tackle foundation? Moss makes Lucas and Woodson look like Ahmed Plummer?

Aim at a harder target ,guys!

Im just waiting until the middle ofthe season when the raiders are like 2-7, Kerry Collins with like 10 picks, 5 fumbles, will he still be talking smack? Will Kerry Collins still be better than Culpeper? Not that Culpepper is doing much better but still :lol If culpepper had moss they would be 2-0 right now.

It's a shame he didn't have that list in 2004.

Nate Clements - Yes No

2 catches, 10 yards.

From Gil Brandt's fantasy analysis:

Giants at Chargers: For the Giants, I like QB Eli Manning and WRs Amani Toomer and Plaxico Burress. Eli has a better rating right now than his brother. Peyton really matured in his second year as the starter, and that could be the same pattern here. ... RB Tiki Barber should have a good, not great, game -- it's tough to run on San Diego. ... San Diego star RB LaDainian Tomlinson has yet to break out, and the Giants are second overall against the run. ... TE Antonio Gates will have a good game, as will WR Keenan McCardell, who has played very well against the Giants. ... WR Eric Parker is starting to become a little more of a factor.

Woooohahahahahah. :D

:lol @ STL being the #3 rated Run D in the league. I love the crazy early season stats.

Despite being second overall against the run, we are 29th in total D thanks to Kurt Warner and Aaron Brooks owning us for tons of yardage. Earth to Coughlin, zone coverages are alright but not all the time.

29 - New York
30 - Minnesota
31 - Cleveland
32 - SF

:lol Poor slo :(

Enough here's how we prove who is better between TO and Moss... who's got a Superbowl ring?

Oh wait.....

Well which player is more professional on the field?

Oh wait.....

Well which player always gives 100% regardless of how the game is flowing?

.....damn this is going to be harder than I thought....
