Yep...it's the MLSE team that isn't run by monkeys. And hey, they won their division before your Canucks!

No more Neale and Cole ballwashing the Leafs and mangling the great discipline of playcalling.
No more 7-minute lead-off stories on SportCentre about how the Leafs skate sharpener learned his craft at the feet of the masters.
No more crap about "WILL SUNDIN BE TRADED? OMG WHAT TO DO? RAYCROFT FOR EMPEROR" and whatnot.
No more Leafs.

WTF are you talking about? Now that the Leafs are out, all you're going to see on Sportsnet/TSN/The Score for the next four days is hourly state of the union addresses on the Maple Leafs.
Enjoy!

:lol :lol :lol That's the pettiest thing I've ever seen. Funny though.
As far as the Leafs go, this team should've been blown up before/during/right after the lockout. Instead they decided to do another half-assed reload, for more middling performance. Except unlike the previous regime, they couldn't even get into the playoffs.
Don't kid yourself though...that previous regime built teams that were just as lousy, just as old, just as inconsistent and just as incompetent as the one currently under JFJ's soon to be expired watch. They just happened to get their asses saved for six years by two world beating goaltenders in Cujo and (to a lesser extent) Belfour. Without that ingredient in place, the holes became all the more apparant.
Of course, how you rebuild a team that has 11 mill a year tied up in two stiffs like McCabe and Kubina (who was ****ing shit last night, as usual) is beyond me.
And frankly, firing JFJ on it's own isn't gonna cut it. What MLSE has needed for years is an enema from the top down. Even getting rid of that twat Richard Peddie wouldn't be enough to cleanse what ails this team, though that would be a start.
Anyway, this was the funniest 24 hours the NHL has given me in my life...so for a few brief moments, this dumb ass league actually gave me some quality entertainment. Though to be fair, Sens vs Pens oughta be a scorcher.
