Lawyers support tort reform.

ahah.
And the moderator asks him again about it and Kerry just says that we should "look at it" and moves on to attacking Bush.

Bush just GOT HIS OPPONENT'S NAME WRONG.

And besides that, what point was he trying to make by pointing out how liberal Kerry's voting record is anyway?

I thought he was referring to the R. Kennedy guy. O_O

Nope. Cause he did eventually referrence back to it later in his response saying that the reason he told you how liberal Kerry was is because it explains his actions or something to that effect.

Nevermind. Thanks. :P

How to cut the budget?

Bush: Make sure the congress doesn't overspend.

Isn't that a way to maintain the budget the way it is?

Kerry is missing the next logical step in his argument, which would be "what good is a tax cut if you don't have any income?" That should be the way he wraps up his condemnation of Bush's job record. Another missed opportunity.

Kerry can tell by looking at the audience that none of them make $200,000 a year? I'd find that offensive.

Bush brought up a very key issue right now The numbers are 'funny' and hopefully Kerry will address it. Didn't realize Bush understood basic math.

"Is my time up?"

...

Are you fucking retarded! There's BLINKLING lights surrounding the fucking stage!!

I thought of this as soon as he said it. He got laughs but I'm sure some "town hall" members may have taken some offense, whether or not they do earn $200,000 a year. It could be viewed as condescending elitism etc..

He said just before that, that Bush's tax cuts effect the top 1% more so than anyone else. Kerry plans to roll back all taxcuts for incomes higher than $200k, like he just said.
My point was that Kerry a few minutes earlier condemned Bush for cutting taxes for the first time in US history during a time of war. Then he proceeded to lay out his OWN tax cut for the middle class.

That was the contradiction.

He could just have been going by the population ratios. About 150 people there, and 3 qualify, that’s about right.

uhh.. cleanest air/water?

Haha, that Red Sox statement was so unnecessary. Maybe he would of gotten some pity laughs if he hadn't labeled the audience penniless hobos.
