I have used a RAPS2 and I found it great stock...I just don't want to make the wrong choice..
Thanks...

Or just import an elecom adapter (check Tekken DR thread).
I'm using my RAP2 for VF5 for the first few days until I get my VFHG stick in the mail.

Now, I'm not an expert or anything, but the stick from Hori looks more like a REAL Sanwa stick to me. The ball top on the sega stick looks plastic. Are you guys SURE the sega is using all NON-plastic Sanwa parts?
EmpNovA said:I've had problems with converters whether it's console to console or console to PC....getting a RAP3 or VSHG will ensure that all inputs are %100 accurate in VF5 and those sticks can double as USB controllers for my PC should the urge to play ST or something else arise.

Ah hell no. Srider of virtuafighter.com says he's noticed lag while using the elecoms with vf. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hopefully he's playing on a DLP or lCD with a shitty refresh rate. Otherwise i'll be selling my elecoms to some strict tekken peeps
Srider said:I played it on tube in s-video and component. On LCD TV in HDMI, and on DLP in component. I experienced very minor lag with the elecom converters. One of the JP players agree as well.
You never know.. VF5 could turn you into onespeculawyer said:I wish I was a fan of the fighter genre . . . this sounds like the best PS3 game to come along in months.
Motorstorm is probably my next purchase.

I kid.. I kid.. :lol
Kabuki Waq said:Hey dudes...I ordered from playasia. I got confirmation that it shipped through UPS but NO tracking # ? Is that normal?
Remy said:The tracking number will show up by the end of the day. This is typical for P-A.
I've tried it, it won't work.DenogginizerOS said:I wonder of the DOA4 stick from X360 will work. Hrmmmm.
ThirdEye said:1080p 60fps confirmed? Now this it THE best version of VF5.
I highly doubt it, if you meant working on PS3. All X360 peripherals uses MS proprietary protocols. That's how MS has been locking away any none-licensed products so far.DenogginizerOS said:I wonder of the DOA4 stick from X360 will work. Hrmmmm.

beermonkey@tehbias said:They use proprietary protocols when connecting to the 360. The 360 requires that the controllers engage the encrypted mode, but the controllers do not require that the system use encryption. Since they work great with non-encrypted open drivers on the PC, they could be supported if a PS3 developer wanted to support them, just as PS3 developers can support USB steering wheels, mice, etc.
Surely we'll see chinese adapters to use 360 controllers on the PS3.
Excellent to hear.KyotoMecca said:I am not sure if anyone answered this yet, but anyway:
Yes English commentary is included in the Japanese game and absolutely everything is available in English (options, quest mode, save data, even graphical elements on some screens, all in English)... just depends on system language being changed.
So unlike VF4E you can enjoy quest on the import version.
