Yup. Steeler's got problems. Can't wait for them to play the Ravens
When we play the Ravens we will have our all world safety back. Same shit would happen to the Raven's defense if Reed was out for awhile. There are some guys you can't replace.

Oh big Jamal, I miss you so.

Well I'm worried about our Defense, but a win is a win. Over the next two weeks we have Detroit and Cleveland. If we can get to 4-2 we'll be in pretty good shape.

Chargers need to stop feeding the ball to LT. Their O didn't pick up until they started working back through Sproles and Gates. I think he is done (sadly). Plus that sorry ass defense. God.....

Steelers need to play with the mentality that the Patriots did two years ago (Cheating and Devil worshiping aside), we need to play at 110% for the entire game. I don't care if you're up 38-0 half way through the 4th, knock some heads and get some more points on the board, run the score up... I don't give a shit. For some reason, when either side of the ball plays conservatively, they're unable to get it going again when needed.

Should have been benched last year and the year before. Guy has been done for a while and the only thing he does well now is crying on the side line.

As a chargers fan, I'm going to agree. We need to draft a new back to compliment Sproles.

Yeah, that first run early in the game where he did the cut to the left and then just did not have the speed where he could take off showed how much he has lost.

The lack of pressure and turnovers is really killing the D. Right now, teams would be foolish to go into a game against them trying to establish a run. Lebeau needs to do something, maybe get Hood some real playing time or something, something to try an change things up to get some heat going. Corners cover well, but they lack the hands to catch. Troy will certainly help, but he's not going to solve the pressure issues over night.

And the coaching needs to be slapped for not having a hands team out there for the onside. The only way the Chargers were coming back was for an onside there. Stupid.

Logan goofed returning that kick and then not going down, he's fighting too hard to get his first return TD. But that play should have been blown dead, so I won't get on him too much.

Coach em up Tomlin, get them to finish!

I think Troy plays a pretty big part in that D. He funnels everything to the outside. Steelers entire scheme is to push all passes to the outside, which is why they play their corners so far off the line. It takes more arm strength and a cleaner pocket to complete a 12 yard comeback, or out, than it does a crossing route. Polamalu covers so much ground over the middle when he plays the robber, he's a big part of what they do. Gates did work over the middle tonight, wouldn't be the case if Polamalu was healthy.

Just got back in. Nice game by the Giants today, dominant again, although against another rebuilding opponent. Hopefully Eli is okay, has Chris Mortenson been talking to his "sources" about the heel injury yet?:lol

Another fantastic game by Steve Smith, who's playing much better than that other Steve Smith in Carolina.

Also pleasantly surprised at the Cowboys going down against the Broncos, which is looking like it could be a tough game for the Giants on Thanksgiving night in Denver. Tip of the cap to the 49ners for gloriously nailing my survival league pick this week!

After seeing the games, going to go ahead and throw this one out there for play of the week again.

Poor 2nd half defense
Down by 6
Offense hasn't exactly been quick strike
Miss the 4th down attempt and pin them to the goal line anyways
Takes the points
awesome

Despite some protection issues (ahem, Diehl) the Giants looked great. Eli has grown and is playing superb. Steve Smith is playing lights out and getting Nicks back is huge. Nicks, and eventually, Hixon, is going to add a lot of dimension to the offense.

Hopefully Eli is ok, and I'm sure he is. One tough SOB.

Thankfully the Raiders are next, and it seems Zach Miller may miss it (?).

Yeah Diehl took a horrendous angle on that early rush by Hall that caused the sack/fumble, bet the coaching staff makes him watch that one a few times in the film room this week. Manningham also had an up and down game with couple of drops, including the bobble that accounted for Eli's only INT.

Nice highlight real TD for Nicks, flashing that same explosiveness we same at the end of the preseason. It really seems like when Hixon comes back he's going to have to go back to being the kick returner and the 4th/5th WR.

did anyone watch the highlight show on NFL network? they were showing the 49ers highlights and they kept joking "shaun hill to crabtree.... no wait, its vernon davis" "no wait, it's josh morgan" and then after that deion said "not yet, but somethings brewing" and eisen said "are you dropping hints?" and he said "im dropping hints"

then mooch said "you dont know" and deion said "i do!"

could this whole shitstorm finally be coming to an end? can i pass to crabcakes in our madden online franchise without guilt?!

Weren't you hyped for a rumor that Crabtree would fire his agent and sign with the 49ers a few weeks ago?

Primetime I don't think is a liar so it is probably true. NFL Network highlights really are great though. Liked how Primetime said that no one in the league is named Peter and it turned out that he was right.

If true this would be great. Give him a couple of months to get up to speed and roll him out in Dec. for the home stretch and the playoffs. Fresh legs and talent at WR will greatly help the Niner's.

and now at the end of the segment he was highlighting pwills awesome pick 6 and said "Dont worry, crabtree is on his way baby!"

it sounds like he could just be fucking around though since he is involved with this tampering thing. i'll believe it when he is officially signed. otherwise it's deion fucking with us :(

Danny Ware should return as well.

Ware/Hixon share reps at KR with Hixon at PR. Moss gets tackled by a blade of grass.

CUTLERCOPTER
Cutler leads Bears over Lions 48-24

By ANDREW SELIGMAN, AP Sports Writer 7 hours, 10 minutes ago
Preview | Box Score | Recap

CHICAGO (AP)—Jay Cutler(notes) insisted he wasn’t trying to imitate John Elway when he spun like the blades on a helicopter as he flew across the goal line in the first quarter.

He popped up after that landing, and the Chicago Bears eventually took off, too. They weren’t about to let a Lions win streak get off the ground.

Cutler threw two touchdown passes and ran for another, and the Bears pulled away in the second half to beat the Lions 48-24 on Sunday a week after Detroit snapped its 19-game slide.

His 5-yard dash early on sparked images of Elway’s highlight reel run against Green Bay in the Super Bowl, yet Cutler dismissed the comparison to a legendary predecessor in Denver.

0-4 Titans have Indy followed by @ NE. It's possible they could be looking at 0-6 :lol
That truly would be a hell of a fall from grace.

However every week I have enjoyed rubbing their shittiness into my friends face. He moved to Tennessee after Katrina and decided to jump on the Titans bandwagon after the Saints started sucking after 06. He knows none of us are letting him get away with jumping back on board with the Saints after he would text us gloating and rubbing it in last season.

In fact im gonna wake his ass up by texting him right now. :lol

See, so you don't really believe Tenn. will beat Indy. Peyton is dialed in right now and the Titan's D is playing badly. Bad combo.

Tennessee had a good defense last year and suffered relatively few changes in their lineup, asides from Haynesworth--and they're nowhere near as bad as their 0-4 would indicate, considering how close some of those losses were.

Not to mention that Fischer isn't so awful that he can't ready his team to win at least one game. Peyton might be playing great right now, but there's no guarantees that he can keep up his production six weeks into the season--and there's no guarantee, either, that the Tennessee defense will shit the bed like they did the last few games.
