I call out RBs who talk shit. What's so confusing about that? Did the guy not just get paid?Your vendetta against Brandon Jacobs continues to confuse me.
Naw man... Reuben retired because he feared the destruction he would cause, the world was not ready.Rorschach said:He's still waiting for Reuben Droughns to blow up.

Left tackle Jermon Bushrod said he doesn't expect to play Sunday against the New York Jets after aggravating his right ankle at Buffalo. That means fourth-year pro Zach Strief will return to the starting lineup.

Weird in Payton's press conference he said he expects Bushrod to play.Jonm1010 said:Son of a bitch! Jammal Brown was put on IR, now Bushrod is out against the best Defense were going to play so far this season. The Number 1 and 2 guys at the most important position on the offensive line are now out.
Strief, don't Fuck this opportunity up!
How fortunate are you to have two guys like Jermon Bushrod and Zach Strief who have some experience and can fill in for him?
Those guys have been here and weve worked with them and developed them. Both of them have played now in important games and I think that both of them will be ready this week. Both of them played last week in Buffalo, so they both have experience.

either way Strief played well last week.
msdstc said:See I think the jets D is a little overhyped. It's definitely good, but they haven't really faced a good QB yet (Brady played like trash).
Yeah I love Moore. Dude ALWAYS produces a nice play when we need it in almost every game. I wish we played him more. He is super consistent, which is what we really need on offense. I thought Mendenhall turned a corner because he had a great game in Chicago but I guess he fucked up whatever he gained by dogging it in practice.Spectral Glider said:Yeah, Moore is just the smarter player, better blocker, better receiver and simply more consistent. He doesn't have the home run threat, but with this Oline that doesn't matter anyway. And then you've got Mendenhall who apparently has a shitty attitude and work ethic. Ugh. Last year's draft is looking terrible. I'm happy that Wallace and McDonald are going to be the 3 and 4 wideouts though.
And Lebeau better have some new schemes in store for getting to Rivers. D needs to start producing turnovers. I'm thinking this game is either going to be a comfortable win for the Steelers or another shit-tastic last second loss.
Big Ben is the anti-Romo. He is incredibly clutch and has won a shit load of games in the playoffs.Gigglepoo said:When you get right down to it, Roethlisberger is just a fat Romo.

Now Quinn will ask to be traded, and he'll become a star somewhere else. FUCK.
Jonm1010 said:Hmm, maybe hes pulling a Belicheat and not tipping his hand on who will start on Sunday by having two conflicting stories.
I know Nicks and Evans both played LT in college but I would still be really nervous going into Sunday with only Strief at LT if Bushrod is out. Do we have anyone else after Strief?
ToxicAdam said::lol
Hardly dude. I've been saying Quinn is a bust from day 1. There's a reason why 20 some teams passed on his ass in the draft. There's a reason why he couldn't beat out DA in the pre-season. He stinks.
If you can not move within the pocket or hit a strike 25+ yards down the field .. you will never be an NFL QB. It's that simple.
What a shame we had to sacrifice a year where we had good QB's to choose from just to find out what was pretty apparent. Next year we are going to be stuck with McCoy/Bradford .. neither of which are going to be that great, imo.

TBA? WTF does that mean? (yes I know it means To Be Announced, I've just never seen it before) I'm in Sacramento and Fox doesn't even know what its going to play yet? Then again, its not like any of the other games its playing at that time look anymore appealing. How sad is it that the game that looks the best to me is the Chicago/Detroit game? I guess it means my broadcast area hasn't decided what its showing yet?

Makes sense. Nicks was a hell of dominant LT in college and I think I remember seeing him get some reps there during the pre-season.themadcowtipper said:I think we would slide Nicks over to LT, and Leckey at G. I really think Bushrod plays though, and like Always they play Strief alot at TE in certain situations.
.Ben Roethlisberger did not tell Steelers that he would be hosting Raw
Sep 30, 2009 - 5:05:31 PM
A player for the Pittsburgh Steelers told reporters on Wednesday that Ben Roethlisberger and the offensive linemen he's bringing to WWE Raw on Monday did not tell coaches ahead of time they would be guest-hosting the show.
The Steelers have a scheduled day off on Tuesday, but they have a team meeting on Monday. The AP reports that lineman Max Starks told reporters "the players didn't tell the coaches in advance."
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is not commenting on Roethlisberger hosting Raw after he refused to comment on the announcement during a press conference yesterday.
The Steelers have a home game on Sunday night. Roethlisberger will be in Wilkes-Barre less than 24 hours later hosting Raw. Another lineman suggested Roethlisberger made the call himself based on his status on the team.
"Ben is the captain, he said, 'Let's roll,' so that's all right," right tackle Willie Colon said. "I don't plan on being physical. I ain't gonna choke nobody. I do my wrestling on Sunday. I'll be a spectator on Monday."
Roethlisberger did not talk to media on Wednesday, but he also had some legal issues in play. A judge in Nevada ruled that Roethlisberger could not dismiss a civil lawsuit filed by a woman in Nevada who alleged Roethlisberger sexually assaulted her in 2008.

The Rock, Opera, Dave Chappelle, are all people I would tune in for. Even stuff like Kate Goslin, Taylor Swift, the Mythbusters guys, that Mythbusters girl would be fine for lulz.
Also, I have no fucking idea who that person that is on next week even is.

Don't you think the fans jinx the the living shit out of this team? Why can't some just be happy that the team is winning? As soon as WWL, WDSU, FOX 8 and the like start playing and making up those dumb ass Saints themed songs, shit is going to hit the fan.
Dresden said:That jinxing bullshit is the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard of. If your team is doing well then you should be fucking proud of it, and sing their fucking song, unless your team is the fucking Dolphins and you guys have that gayass song by T Pain.
'Jinxing'? It's a fucking luxury from asshole fans who are passive aggressively trying to rub in the fact that their team is doing well. Fuck it, I wish I had something to jinx, because shit's been jinxed to hell and back for the last twenty fucking years.
Hotsuma said::lol
What happened to the Dolphins? They caught people by surprise last season and have started off odd this year. The Saints did the same thing the year after they made it to the NFC Championship. I didn't even know T-Pain made a song for the Dolphins.
About jinxing, I hear a lot of the "old time" Saints fans talk about it. Like how the Superdome was built over the old graveyard and wondering why the team buried their awards after the 06 season. I guess the old timers may be just as insane as the new fans . XD
We haven't even seen enough of him yet, plus he looked pretty good (last year) before he broke his finger. All I'm saying is, give him more time. Judging him against the Vikings, Broncos, and Ravens, then giving DA the Bengals just isn't fair. So many QBs look bad their first season starting, but get a chance to turn it around.ToxicAdam said::lol

Question 2;
Will the loser of the match be considered a bad team? Some of my friends think if the Saints lose this one, they will be no better of than they were last year?
Question 3;
Does anyone get nervous in the stomach whenever Bush gets the ball? You never know WTF is going to happen with him (good play, fumble, WTF play, etc.).
May the better team win on Sunday...I just hope its the Saints.![]()
