93, I just want to know if anyone besides Rors got
Marques Tuiasosopo.

Still remember the Monday night game he started.

62, although in my defense I was away from home and doing the quiz on an iPod. Still missed some real obvious ones though :/

134 maximum time allotted.

:lol I didn't even put Rodgers, Lossman, Lemon and Feely... I thought I did, but I was trying to access the way back machine too much :(

well if the stealers weren't such chokers in the 90's they could have had the honor of being destroyed by steve young. maybe it would have still been a game halfway through the first quarter too!

Young and the Whiners wouldn't have known whether to cry or wind their watches once they met the Steelers D. Only wish it happened, because maybe then we wouldn't have to put up Young's stupid smug mug and bad forward comb on ESPN!

He can have it back, once they schedule it earlier in the week. I see no problem with this, Garrard went about it completely the wrong way.:lol
They mentioned this on ESPN Radio this afternoon and dumbass Doug Gottlieb went out of his way to call Del Rio a shitface.

Is Steve Slaton worth Dwayne Bowe + Felix Jones? I'm trying to get Slaton or Turner from this one team with a serious need at WR without giving away anyone of real value. This is the best I could come up with.

lol no.

Slaton might die before the Texans reach their bye week.

His team is on the left, mine on the Right:

Its PPR. Trying to keep Forte, Colston, Jennings and DeSean at all costs. Since Ray Rice is sadly my #2 starter I'd like to keep him too. I need Schaub for Rodger's week 5 buy, then after that I'll shop him to three other teams who all have serious need at QB.

I was thinking now may be a chance to buy low on Turner and/or Slaton. But honestly I haven't the faintest clue if they'll actually show up down the line. Turner has the better chance than Slaton, but being the #2 pick overall, people tend to hold on tighter to their first round picks. The only thing I'm sure of, is if Brown doesn't off Addai and Westbrook's season doesn't end, I have a serious need at RB.

Damn the Chargers let the Raiders score 20 points on them and almost win the game.

That fact makes me feel a lot better about the Sunday night game.

I hate games like this between two juggernauts of evil. If the Pats win then their lapdogs at ESPN will take this as a sign that they still have life and will promote their evil philosophy. If the Ravens win it will be a sign that our justice system has failed us.

Taking all of that into considerationt he only thing we can root for is a 0-0 tie.

Then again, Steelers lost to the Bengals..

This is what I love about NFL-GAF. Everybody spends 6 days and 20 hours talking shit about every team that isnt theirs and the 4 hours their team is playing talking shit about their own team.

The season is still young. What we need to remember is that the mighty Bills dominated your beloved Pats at home.

They dominated and still we came up with the victory. Brady's favor with his father is so great that he can overcome anything.

Anything but the Mannings, Jake Plummer or being hit.

Still has more rings than those things combined. Brady may have been tempted by the devil on occasion but he is still has more rings than any other qb playing today.

Amen. I adore Pats games against proper Ds because its fun to watch Brady regress through the game with each successive hit.

To be fair, Vinatieri has 4 of the 5 rings in question here. Where's the love for Adam?!

Edit: Shit, read my mind :lol
You are talking ancient history. I was responding to the comment that Brady could overcome anything but apparently he has failed to overcome everything in his way over the last 4 seasons.

And Brady might have more rings, but keep in mind the Pats rode the coattails of Vinatieri to all of those championships with some aid from Sony and Panasonic along the way. Funny that despite all of his experience in film the Mannings still appear in the most commercials.

NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month: Mark Sanchez JETS

NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month: Louis Delmas LIONS

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/10/01/sanchez-delmas-are-septembers-top-rookies/

No doubt in my mind that Delmas was the rookie of the month. In his first three games you can already tell he has an extremely bright future ahead of him, and will be a star safety in the years to come.

It was immediately evident to me in Game 2 against the Vikings when he smacked Adrian Peterson and started running his mouth off, and he is only a rookie. And in his first game starting against the Aints, he ran a 65 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Here here!

What I like about NFL GAF... or used to like... was that we didn't take ourselves too seriously and a slight against your team wasn't taken personally. People could joke about teams or discuss whatever they wanted without too many getting their panties in a bunch. That seems to be disappearing, though.

One of the dumbest things you see here is Person A says Team B's QB has been struggling lately. Person B says "oh yeah, well, Team A's QB is a piece of shit!" Yeah, and? Did I just insult your mother? And am I supposed to give a fuck about that retaliation? :lol

True, but then you're a Raider fan, so what the hell do you know? :D

Holy fuck, you may be a filthy Pats fan but LOL. Good show.

Last I checked Crabby wasn't going to view this thread with out 3y/45 mil guaranteed. Fucker keeps asking for more!

I for one enjoy Rors and Beywatch.

I think my favorite part of Beywatch is that he only has a one catch lead over somebody who isn't even in the league.:lol

The football Gods finally smiled on Detroit when Al Davis decided to draft Jamarbust over CJ81.

Had he chosen Calvin over Russel (which he was damn close to deciding), there is no doubt Matt Millen would've drafted Jamarcus with that #2 pick in the 2007 draft.

The Lions as an organization would be completely different had that not happened.

Beywatch to me was always Troy Williamson 2.0 (Vikings #7 pick in the 05' draft).

Rorschach said:
You mean something worse than 16-0 would have happened?

:lol

Honestly I don't know, but I would rather go 0-16 and have Stafford and CJ81, then go 2-14 and have Jamarcus and Beywatch.

Maybe Millen would've had Jamarcus sit behind Kitna? Who knows what would've happened, but that draft in 07' was a turning point for both franchises.

It doesn't matter now anyway because we'll both have Top 10 picks next year in the draft, but the Lions are on their way up, while the Raiders have an obvious bust with Heyward and will be looking for both a QB and WR in next years draft.

One thing I think we can both agree on is Al Davis and Ford Jr. are the worst owners in the NFL bar none. Al Davis would've at least fired Millen after year 3, while Alzheimer Ford Jr. let Millen reign for 7 years.

During that draft, I said that CJ should have been #1. He is something the Raiders needed, too. Plus, JGar said he would have gone to Oak that year, but only if they didn't draft a QB. Could have taken care of two things.

Raiders have been on their way down since 03. The Jussell pick wasn't some sort of turning point.

Also, they won't be looking for a QB because Davis is delusional and is keeping fatty around for another 3-4 years. WR? Maybe... if there's one with a nice 40 time!

Nah. Davis would have never had Millen in the first place. He is the owner, GM, coach, judge, jury, and executioner. At least the Fords hired someone because they knew they themselves were incapable. That said, Al has contributed a lot to the league and his team. I can't think of anything the Lions have contributed besides maybe the turkey games where they get blown out in front of the whole nation. :(

It's funny how the rest of the league views the Raiders and the Lions. Two teams who are pretty bad. The Lions are seen as the loveable kid in the helmet who everyone is just hoping gets a win. The Raiders are hated and seen as a laughing stock at the same time and thought of as worse than a team that went winless until a week ago.

:lol Let's take a trip in the wayback machine!
