Last year it was awesome because we won those close games in the end. This year.....yeah.
It was exciting and it was awesome watching Ben lead a game winning drive every other week, but my heart can't handle that shit on a weekly basis.

WTF. Rodney Harrison is confusing me. On one hand he is an ex-Pat so I hate him with every fiber of my being. On the other hand he just called Tom Brady a girl.

In the second half I want a steady diet of Mendenhall and dump passes to Moore. Let's kill the clock...
Whoa whoa whoa...that shit is SOOOO 3 years ago.

Just saw the replay of that roughing the passer call on the Ravens. Are you fucking kidding me.

How little pride do you have to have to cry like that immediately after someone whiffs on you. Brady is a massive vagina.

No sense in feeding the troll bro.

In the second half I want a steady diet of Mendenhall and dump passes to Moore. Let's kill the clock. Maybe even setup a nice play action pass to Wallace. ;)

I'd rather we stay aggressive, bad things happen when we start to play conservative.

Dude, people were die hard during the fucking 80s, and we SUCKED for pretty much every year of the 80s.

Hey, 4 playoff years and one AFC championship game appearance, most franchises would kill for that kind of the decade. It's just that compared to the 70s, 90s, and 00s, it was kind of sparse. The 89 season is still one of my favorite Steeler seasons, it got Glanville fired in Houston....and they were robbed in Denver!

I was extremely young but I recall my dad absolutely hating Brister :lol

lol ya I know but after the first time people just start looking like nflgaf elitists I just find it funny.

He gave me a sarcastic answer to the first question :P

i didn't see that play earlier.

you have to be fucking kidding me. fucking ridiculous roughing call when he barely even scraped by his leg.

i know that fat bitch mike perroia on NFL network will make a case saying "you can't go near the qb's legs", but its just ridiculous. that wouldn't have been called on any other qb, only because it's goldenboy tom brady.

to add to it, he was CALLING for the flag immediately after! what a giant fucking pussy

I'm not saying just those things, but they have been working. If stuff opens up down field or they start putting 8 in the box, then we can strike with the passing game. The reason the running game hasn't been working effectively is because the O-Line was playing like shit and the backs weren't making any cuts. Now those factors are working... why the hell wouldn't we take advantage of that? Cowher's style is similar to what I mentioned, but he would do it despite it working or not. That's conservative and dangerous. Running and gashing the opponent is anything but.

Yeah I was young but I didn't mind watching the Steelers be a average to below average team in the 80s. That is all I ever saw them do and it was what I was used to. I just liked watching football and especially my football team.

The chargers are pretty bad... this is another confusing team, a few short years ago they were unbeatable. Then Norv Turner comes in and things fall apart from there.

Yeah, Brister had some flashes, but he mostly stunk. Never had poise in the pocket.

But I loved watching Lloyd and Woodson come of age on those late 80s teams. Woodson practically was the team back then.

I was at a bar all day today. Man oh man, I don't know what to say about the Lions. The score didn't reflect it but statistically they dominated the bears in the first half.

But that KO return for a TD just killed 'em. It sucked.

And then watching Stafford fuck his knee up just about made me get hammered in anger. I was on the cusp, gentlemen, I really was. The mountains were bluer than my balls.

Ugh. just such a shitty day for the Lions. I knew they wouldn't win but damn, didn't expect them to let Garret fucking Wolfe score a TD

I'm pretty spoiled, I grew up watching during the 90's Steelers, but then again, I was subject to nothing but underachieving till Roethlisberger came to town.

Edit: Roethlisberger has been awesome this season.

Edit: Keomuatu DAMNN

Chargers just need to give it up. Thy will never win it all with this shit defense. Time to rebuild. Trade Rivers to the Redskins for a future 5th round pick
