Wii has no game. Hardware sales have dropped quite a bit. PS3 and 360 are individually selling better than the Wii now.
As for the Wii U info, it is just a rumor for now. Lots of crazy rumors popping up lately like the next Playstation will be out before the next Xbox.

No one is expecting the WiiU to be a world beater. If your buying a nintendo product at this point your in one of two audiences. The child audience or the enjoys the first party games audience. And hell alot of the times those two blur together.
They carved out a niche that is (or was, we'll see what the PS4/720+Kinect is) separate enough from their competition to be their own thing.

i'm not very interested in the WiiU. i'll probably end up getting it because nintendo is the best first party out there but without great 3rd party support it will always be the 3rd best system. and now it comes out that the graphics won't even be equal to 360/ps3? horrible.
nintendo consistently ignores graphical upgrades and a good online system. that is the reason in the long run they always end up in last place

If it weren't for the Yakuza series and blu-ray I wouldn't give a shit about playstation. oh and about Nintendo constantly being in last place.

nintendos operating income should make me feel better about my purchase when i'm staring at eyesore graphics that would look average if it were 2003 and navigating a clunky online infrastructure?
i've played my nintendo wii.... maybe 1 time in the past year when zelda came out (and it wasn't very good). i'll play it again when xenoblade comes out but in general the wii has been a horrible system for years!

I like companies that are able to sustain themselves or else they won't stay in the industry for too long. It gives them more leeway when they have ps3 level disasters. Especially with so many developers going under this gen. I've enjoyed my wii and 360 the most out of this generation. The Yakuza system is a far third.
