To put it in perspective, in Japan the 3DS sold 120k in one week (Kingdom Hearts launch) compared to the Vita/3DS selling 200-225k in the U.S over 5 weeks. Consoles are not much of a factor in Japan right now but it will be interesting to see how they will react to the Wii U later this year.

I wouldn't say it would be "easy". As someone with a decent amount of multi platform/porting experience its not really "easy". The more platforms you maintain a game engine for the harder it becomes. Also translating games with traditional controls to platforms with touch only controls is a pain.
Sony has started a program for their non Vita hand helds (Experia shit) that is kind of like a cross between XNA and the Apple developer program. I haven't really dug into the SDK too much yet though, but its using C# so that'll make it easier for people to transition to it than the initial iPhone transition.
Of course much like XNA its kind of a cursory experiment that they aren't heavily supporting or promoting.
I like how bluemax just completely skipped over being hilariously incorrect about the number.

The dropback/rollouts look great, and the passing system finally sounds like what I've always wanted, lovin' it. It's a shame the OD doesn't support more than 12.
They better carry these changes into Madden or racks will be knocked over.
Madden 13 is going to be the year of the new Nike fabrics. No way will that garbage-ass team be able to do anything in addition to such labor intensive updates as the new jerseys.
Yeah deep down I have a feeling it will be a Madden 11-like year. Hope I'm wrong.

When I read all the changes I thought, "Madden 14 is gonna be sick". Have a feeling the bugs in 13 are gonna eventually make it unplayable.
Those changes are only announced for NCAA 13 by the way. Nothing yet on Madden.

What changes were significant from 11 to 12? All I noticed was that they somewhat restored hit stick power after it was toned down in 11 and weakened finesse moves for dlinemen.

my bad on the numbers. I'm not rooting for Vita to fail though. I'm just saying from my experience as a PSP developer the situation makes me nervous.

Vita hardware has the exact same CPU and GPU as the Iphone and Ipad, just more advanced. Xperia play has different internals.
I know that there are iOS/Android devs who have Vita versions of their games done, just waiting for Sony to release the Vita app store. I don't know when that is going to happen though. I think Sony is trying to push for higher priced software at the moment. That's the only thing I can think of.
It's not like the Vita is doing terrible right now, either. It's doing alright. Nothing massive, but sales aren't horrible either. It's keeping pace with the 3DS and which has had two recently released Mario games and Nintendo has been practically giving the device away with sales.

It shouldn't happen. Every real life NFL game features at least one slo mo replay of a DB playing defense on a ball in the air based on the actions of the WR they are guarding. Back turned to the play and ball, but still get their hands up and make swats. Impossible to accurately represent that in a game.
