Eets is really great. Just like when I played Cloning Clyde for the first time, I felt like this is something totally worth a buy and great stuff...except Eets is >>>> CC.
Did you try Marsho Madness? :D

Quick note, there have been a few new games added to the Australian OFLC:

Super Contra
Discs of Tron
Tron

So maybe we'll get both Tron games [Tron being a very simple light cycle game]

Totally agree. Both Eets and Cloning Clyde are two of my favorite XBLA games.

Yea, the ESRB has both of them up on their website.

Tron in the arcade was a collection of mini-games. It's been so many years, and I can still hear the music in my head. Damn, I played it way too much.

NOOOOOOOO i bought eets by accident and i hated the demo :(

it's a little TOO easy to buy stuff

yeap, its like its done on purpose.

a confirmation window (sure you want to buy XXXXX? y/n) is not difficult to implement.
accidents happen, or maybe another person not familiar with xbox dashboard is trying a game demo and buys it by chance/mistake of a wrong button press (happened twice on my 360).

Just another note: If you haven't bought Worms yet, please do. It's such an awesome game, even without weaponry like the Holy Hand Grenade or the Baseball bat, you still have the just-as-useful fire punch and Banana Bombs at your disposal.

The rope is different to previous games, but I've seen some guys do such elaborate stuff with it.

I've also had some hilarious chats with guys playing - "Hey now, leave Super Ted alone! He didn't do anything to you!", and laughing at your own mistakes. There also is no lag since it's turn based. It's been a great experience.

Plus the 200 achievements are easy to get, if that needs to push you over [and it really shouldn't]

Concerning Tron:

IGN said:
April 25, 2007 - Last week, the ESRB had Discs of Tron listed as a game pending rating. Disney Interactive declined to confirm the classic arcade title was heading to Xbox Live Arcade. It appears, however, that not one but two Tron-based games are heading to XBLA.

Today, IGN received a curious package. It included a DVD copy of Tron (starring "The Dude" Jeff Bridges) and a note.

"SARK IS READY ARE YOU?

Two classics return this summer...to the Arcade. More data to be downloaded soon."

It's unclear if Tron and Discs of Tron would be sold in one package or separately. For its part Disney Interactive still isn't offering official confirmation of Tron's XBLA debut. We'll just have to wait until "more data" is "downloaded soon."

So what's coming out this week. I want Catan but I dont want to get my hopes up.

I wish MS would make a release schedule available or something.

So, I own a 360 for about a half a year now, but for some reason I didn't have the urge to dive into the whole Arcade thing, until now. I want to buy 1 or 2 games to try the whole thing out and my I'd like to ask you guys to recommend me the best games that are available at Live Arcade at this point. I don't really care about the genre, as long as it's relatively simple and above all, FUN!

GAF, help me out here.

Geometry Wars is probably your go to game, but Pinball FX and Heavy Weapon are also really great fun. And if you like people showing you their junk, you gotta get UNO.

Every single game has a demo. Why take our word for it when you can just try them?

Do yourself a favor and try Assault Heroes - also Geometry Wars, Marble Blast Ultra & Castlevania. All great games but take advantage of the Demo feature on Live, it's saved me a few bucks in the past.

Because, simply said, I don't have the time to try every single game that is available at this point. I just want to know which games are considered worth buying. I'll then make a short list of the games I'm interested in, play the demos of those games and buy whichever suited me best.

Worms, Marble Blast, and Geo Wars

There is a reason why they don't, why none of the networks do this and it is because titles can get delayed, several times over and then begins the bitching and the moaning.

I have not yet seen a recomendation for Cloning Clyde. So allow me: Try out Cloning Clyde. Good fun.

Heavy Weapon is a great shooter, especially online.

arne you are a cheeky little minx. You've been sitting here smiling, knowing you guys were about to bring both the noise and 'da funk'. Give kudos to all involved, XBLA has gone from zero-to-hero, just like that!

Hmmm, didn't have Atari penciled in until later into the month. Ah well, still got it half right.

Okay, I'll say that it ig going to be Band of Bugs and Yie Air Kung Fu to come out next week.

Great. Catan has to come out while I'm still waiting on a shipping box to send my broken 360 back to Microsoft for repair. Next they'll announce the Shadowrun demo is coming out tomorrow, knowing my luck. :(

Seriously, I put in my original repair ticket April 2nd. 3 calls later and they still can't manage to get a box mailed to my address so I can send it out for repair. Call center reps putting in the wrong address, boxes just not showing up, this is getting really annoying. I just want to play my 360! Ugh.

Oh my this week is CATAN!

Any idea if Carcassonne is near release? I'm excited for Catan, but probally won't bother with it if Carcassonne is likely to release soon.

Carcassonne has been set for release sometime next month.
