Rlan said:Quick note, there have been a few new games added to the Australian OFLC:
Super Contra
Discs of Tron
Tron
So maybe we'll get both Tron games [Tron being a very simple light cycle game]
Tron in the arcade was a collection of mini-games. It's been so many years, and I can still hear the music in my head. Damn, I played it way too much.Rlan said:So maybe we'll get both Tron games [Tron being a very simple light cycle game]

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/783/783549p1.htmlIGN said:April 25, 2007 - Last week, the ESRB had Discs of Tron listed as a game pending rating. Disney Interactive declined to confirm the classic arcade title was heading to Xbox Live Arcade. It appears, however, that not one but two Tron-based games are heading to XBLA.
Today, IGN received a curious package. It included a DVD copy of Tron (starring "The Dude" Jeff Bridges) and a note.
"SARK IS READY ARE YOU?
Two classics return this summer...to the Arcade. More data to be downloaded soon."
It's unclear if Tron and Discs of Tron would be sold in one package or separately. For its part Disney Interactive still isn't offering official confirmation of Tron's XBLA debut. We'll just have to wait until "more data" is "downloaded soon."
I applaud Behemoth for their reasonably priced content, but I wish they would fix the final achievement.Shard said:http://www.majornelson.com/archive/...nid-hd-picture-packs-and-in-game-content.aspx
According to Major Nelson's Blog Alien Hominid is now the recipient of a couple of DLC Microtransaction packs, the most enticing of which is the PDA Euro Pack.

I want to buy 1 or 2 games to try the whole thing out and my I'd like to ask you guys to recommend me the best games that are available at Live Arcade at this point. I don't really care about the genre, as long as it's relatively simple and above all, FUN!
GAF, help me out here.

Because, simply said, I don't have the time to try every single game that is available at this point. I just want to know which games are considered worth buying. I'll then make a short list of the games I'm interested in, play the demos of those games and buy whichever suited me best.RumpledForeskin said:Every single game has a demo. Why take our word for it when you can just try them?
Rlan said:Just another note: If you haven't bought Worms yet, please do.

It has a great, quirky sense of humor and there's absolutely nothing else like it on arcade.goldenpp72 said:Cloning clyde is a bit too generic to recommend, it's alright.

arne you are a cheeky little minx. You've been sitting here smiling, knowing you guys were about to bring both the noise and 'da funk'. Give kudos to all involved, XBLA has gone from zero-to-hero, just like that!arne said:it was part of the diabolical plan.
