FML... i farmed Kimono island for two days straight. Managed to max sockets on Log Luffy and HW Zoro. Now to farm Heracles ... i might need a break after.

Can someone put up an Axe-Hand Morgan really quick? I have some excess STA to burn before raid time and would like to knock this mission out.

I decided to look up how much HP I have with my BB team for Heracles and I didn't expect this. XD 154,000HP!!! You only need 70k once you reach him. This will be easy.
I tried putting my max HP red guys under a BB team and reached 164,000 HP. Kind of absurd.

Anyways, is the strat for Heracles stall for BB special then unleash it on him?

You have an hour.

Yup. Could be that you need a little more damage via normal attacks(1-2 red orbs) or other specials. But that's all.

I think I'm going to run with this team:

I only have to stall long enough for Doflamingo's special. Usopp isn't needed so I may switch him out with Vista or some other strong INT unit.

No doubt. So many events going on right now, I really wanted to run Smoker too but need to figure out how to balance it all yet. I haven't even started Arlong yet, just want to get through Heracles'n first and see how I feel after.

The only real strategy is just timing your turn counters for as fast a run as possible. Only things to note is there are pre-emptives on Stage 4 and 5.

You want to leave Stage 4 on turn 3 of BB's special, thus when you enter the boss stage, you go to Turn 2, then Heracles'n will shuffle your orbs to Turn 1, attack Heracles'n for some chip damage, tank the 69,610 HP damage. 2x BB special, then finish off Heracles'n with specials or normal combo (preferable to have at least 2 STR orbs).

CD sockets will help for an even faster run, you may take damage on Stage 2 because all three dinosaurs can show up with 1 turn counter (roughly 19k damage each). Stage 2 will be your biggest obstacle and you may take damage to Stage 4 from the crab to stall, unless you wipe the floor with a Kid special. But your only goal is to reach the boss with at least 70,000 HP.

Wow this is raid is easier than Garp. Having 16 turn cooldown on Mihawk thanks to sockets makes this go by super quick. But, gotta save all those gems for this juicy sugofest. 400+ days with no legend, no gear 3; gotta get a lucky break soon.

Heraclese is easy, yay!

My Rayleigh team is: Rayleigh x 2, Slasher Croc, Robin, Mr. 3, Usopp

super braindead easy. Can't go crazy farming him because of a lack of Rayleigh friends but hopefully I can get ten or so extras

should probably be using Rayleigh for him but I'm used to my timing on Sengoku more right now. Doing 30stam instead for now. Still don't have my full team leveled yet so 40 can be a little too scary.
*edit* nm I got some random luck doing 30 with Sengoku. Threw together a Rayleigh team and its much more comfortable. Timing wasn't as bad for my first time.

Really wish I had what it takes for 40. I have Mr. 3 and Usopp but my other subs suck right now. Need to evolve and level Robin.

What's the difference between the 30 and 40 beside the obvious difficulty?

Is the 40 stamina one a guaranteed drop for the boss?

I'm not ready to do both for now but just want to know how raids works.

Also, I've read that there's also a 60 stamina one? I didn't see it on extra island.

Yes, the maximum stamina is always a guaranteed drop for raids. 60 stamina is only for a few raids like Enel, Doflamingo, and Aokiji. The only one that has 30/40/60 is Enel.

Oh i see. It depends on the raid. So for this raid, Heracles is guaranteed at 40 stamina? But for Enel, it's the 60 stamina?

And do raids rotate? Or i missed out the past raids forever?

Old raids come back. Right now we're at once a week for raids. They seem to mostly try to run a full rotation

What's the go to strategy for that seahorse stage with a Log Luffy team?

Just kill as many as you can normally & take the hit of the ones left alive?

Yeah. If you need more turns to stall, the elder will be on a 2 turn CD after attacking and the crab will be on the 3 turn CD. The elder also locks for 6 turns so you'll have to plan around that if you don't have enough anti bind. You could also opt to use GP Usopp on that stage as well if you can 2 shot Heracles'un

If you have max GP use at beginning, stall max turns, taking 2 hits from crab and you'll have it up again when Herc rages; probably don't need it, but meh. Otherwise plow through them from the get-go.

I'll use that as a safety net if I ever enter that stage low on HP and need an escape route!

Heracles'n and his mobs never hit me so losing some HP is no big deal, I was just curious how most people run that stage.

So how does the legend boosted sugo work? Are there any data from the japanese version how much the boost in reality is? If it's kinda high I might pull but I don't need that many rr units so I don't know...

nobody knows how much the boost is usually since it's all RNG,so it might happen than on a qck sugofest you get all characters with that type or none at all.
we have no reason to think that legends have a different rate than any other unit in the pool really, and their rarity comes from sheer numbers (less than 10 characters in a pool of probably mroe than a hundred at this point),so they will probbaly just get the "usual" boost..not much to count on,but an added bonus for sure

Thank god it's the top 3 boosted groups, for some reason people are voting for the powerhouse group, even though we just had the cp9 batch...it doesn't even have Blueno ! Fuck democracy sometimes.
And the free spirit is ahead of cerebral, I'm speechless, hopefully fighters still keep it up, it's by far the best group.

I hate times like this though, a week ago I had almost nothing to do in the game, and now I have to skip arlong and smoker FNs because I need LL and Zoro sockets.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people are simply voting for the group they need most units from.

Some groups like the fighter group are great ... but I've got all units except one from that bunch, so for me it's not a really good option.

i voted for slashers, fighter and striker

legends whitebeard,sengoku and inthawk

still probably not going to pull..don't have gems and i'm f2p,so buying is not an option

Japan has a legend boosted sugo right now and I did 10+1 pull and I didn't get a legend ;) meanwhile a few people here got one legend with less pulls, I think. Like I said before don't expect any legends just because they are boosted. It's still RNG.

Voted for powerhouse, to match my Legend Lucci, and Raleigh/Croc/Sengoku. Those can clear a lot, and plus I really want them!!

EDIT: Heracles-un was actually really easy to beat. I was worried I didn't have a decent enough team (BB special too low, Robin the same). But found that Raid Mihawkx2, Vista, SlasherCroc, Prison Mr1, and GP did the job just fine. I could probably change things around to have my INTHawk as a lead, but I won't mess with things this go-round. Only natural stamina too, too many sugos coming up and I don't have a captain that need Heracles-un right now

That lobster special island only shows up during events ? I need to evolve Crocodile and Curiel ASAP. Got a bunch of elder turtles and pigs to use during the exp event.

cw_sasuke

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Can BB oneshot the 30stam version as well? Assuming it's the same setup I don't know if I should switch to Vista or Nami instead. Wouldn't cafe of ally but I'm just a out to level up so I better not screw up the upcoming run xD

Took a BB team and got wiped

Took a Sengoku team and got wiped

Took a Vista team and got wiped

Took a Raid Mihawk team and got wiped.

I really need to read up before I just jump in, on these raids.

What team should i try to build with Log Luffy? All Strength? I keep seeing how strong LL is but i still have no idea how to build a teak around him. Any suggestions is highly appreciated.

Also, how does his captain skill works? If i hit good great perfect, the rest of the fight I'll get 4x attack? Or only the last hit takes the 4x?

Good->Great->Perfect; last 3 hits 4x damage. (but this is slightly mitigated by your combo being good-great rather than full perfect, so it +- balances out with G3's damage output)

Log Luffy allows for a rainbow team so usually you have 1-2 units that do heavy damage to the raid/fortnight boss.

e.g. my Log Luffy team for Heracles'N =

Log/Log
Nico Robin/ Slasherdile
Godsopp/ Whitey Bay

As long as my orbs are good I use robin or croc for my final hit. Part of Log Luffy's benefits is the ability to construct a rainbow team that fits the enemy you're facing.

/edit

When fighting a DEX boss only your final 3 heavy hitters really need to be STR btw, as the first 3 hits barely do any damage anyway.

Oh i see. Captain skill stacks? Seeing your team have 2 log, that means 8x attack?

For the next round, attack goes back to normal and i need to hit good great perfect again?

Yep every turn you need to hit good/great/perfect, it's the reason people consider G3/Log teams kinda stressful as a single mistake can ruin your entire run.

To get an idea how different captains stack you can always use the damage calculator:
http://optc-db.github.io/damage/#/

Usually people use a captain + friend captain with the exact same ability. There's a few LOG users on gaf you could befriend for Log luffy friend captains.

It's possible to mix log with various STR teams/captains though, as long as their captain ability has synergy.

(you can't mix LOG with G3 for example, as they have mutual exclusive activation conditions)

No, every damage buff in this game is multiplied, that's how you get the huge numbers (like 4 million damage).

2 Log Luffy cap skill (4x4 on the last 3 hits) = 16
Then you have the chain multipliers which on the last hit is x2
Then the perfect multiplier 1.9x
Then the ship damage buff 1.5x
The type modifier (x2 if advantageous or 0.5x if it isn't)
that's a lot, but there is more, then you have the type/class buffs and the orb boosting buffs.

So for example a log luffy team in a perfect scenario could possibly deal something lke this on the last hit:
16x2x1.9x1.5x2x2x2 = 729 times the character's attack.

how are people using the specials for Mr.3 And GP Usopp when it comes to Heracles?

My main issue is it's hard to tell when hes going to wipe away the delay. On top of that when he gets under 40% or w/e he starts locking half my team and chain healing. Having anyone locked on my Ray team is pretty much game over. Part of my problem is if I don't use my delay early I might not have enough health to make it through. I've tried saving it for a certain % when he starts to lock and heal more but at that point he throws around his delay wipe even more randomly.

Can a double Ray team not KO him before he gets a chance to really do anything?

With my 2xLog team I do this:

turn 1: sunny special to destroy mobs
turn 2: after his powerup I use godsopp
turn 3: damage him to around 30-40%
turn 4: nico robin + whitey bay for that guaranteed KO hit.

I wasn't able to get him up to max CD, but my 17 CD BB has made this raid easy mode.

It would be even easier if my MC's CD wasn't 24, >_>.

Mine can't on 30stam. Sometimes I can handle him without issue. Others I use my specials, he wipes the delay right after, then I may get caught in his lock/heal chain near the end and have no chance. Just to be clear my team is far from perfect.

Ray x2
Mr.3 (special lvl 3)
GP Usopp
Alvida (she def saves my ass sometimes)
Kaku Dock One Carpentry Specialist (lvl 89, using him because I don't have Robin leveled yet and his orb boost is better than the rest of my subs so far.)
