Watched to see this frame alone.
Oh yeah, I'm laughing just looking at it.
The sequence concluding with the slap was the best though. Heavy personal drama and then "Mosquitoes... suck."

It's identical to the web manga by ONE, except it's drawn by Yusuke Murata. Looks great.
Yeah, and the TV show uses the art from the remake.

It's no longer identical. Murata has slightly altered the story in non-significant ways and has now started adding his own filler chapters (which are awesome in their own right).

That and how they revert to ONE's Saitama at times in the manga and show edit. Oh wait's that you what you basically meant to say.
I do think One's manga has much better pacing than Murata though, Murata tends to go heavy into the eye porn where ONE just gets to the point.
And there's the one other character who pops into the ONE art every now and then. But that's a while later.

You probably read the remake without knowing it's a remake. At least was that the case with me. Was very surprised to stumble upon the original with the super crude art.

that's not really true though.
Saitama used at least one "super move serious series" against him. which means that in a way he was ''serious'' and he did put more effort into fighting him than any other fight. now how serious he actually was and how much % of his power used we have no idea.

this is what he says in the original version. which is pretty much what horriblesubs translated in the first episode "just a guy who's a hero for fun", more literally he says "hobby" instead of "for fun" but I think that the latter works better. people can take a lot of liberties while translating but "just an average guy who serves as an average hero" is pretty much made up, I suppose the meaning is more or less the same.

Genos' backstory was my least fav. part though mainly because the manga delivery was better.
I felt the joke work better in anime form sense in the manga I just skip must of it.

Also he slowly accelerated his speed of enunciation, which was excellent. I was watching it with a friend and we both turned to each other at the same time like, "Is he...?" And yeah he was. It was good, very good.
Where did you read that Murata is the one adding things and making changes to the story? I would assume ONE is still in charge of the story and storyboarding.

Eh, I disagree. In the manga it's just a wall of text that gives the joke away too quickly. The buildup in the anime with the music was better.
That version is not Murata's, he's the artist, ONE is the author. I assumed ONE was still doing the story for the redraw.
