Aww come on!!! Kanakana-chan is a great character. I think she actually enjoys performing as Meruru but has some weird complex towards otakus because of her famous older sister.
I don't post much because I just can't keep up. Maybe if I get a desk job again soon. Not like I do any work at those lol.
For now, k-onGAF and PersonaGAF for life! And OreimoGAF if you could call this that.

Remember the Saori episode this season? The girl Saori gets the glasses from, who is the writer of Maschera, is Kanakos sister. I don't think they explicitly say it, but it is. Same last name, and being near identical and all.
Also in that episode the other girl is the sister of the maid/waitress from the cafe they go to in season one where Krino meets Saori and Kuroneko, who is also the girl that was the host at the cosplay contest Kanako was in back in S1.
Ah, I did think they looked similar but I never really paid attention to names. I'm not as attentive when its not about Kuroneko or Manami. Makes sense.
Oreimo S2 9
Hahaha. Jealousy and humorous melodramatic suffering all around! I mean, the entirety of the second act was an unneeded spelling out for the audience, but it wouldn't be Oreimo if it were subtle. Also Kyou cries like a punk several times.
I found the serious final confrontation funny as I imagined the various fan art and shipping bloodshed going on in other websites. But shifting to a more serious perspective, it would seem Kirino did not forget all of Kyou's deeds as on now. Its been showed before, but never blurted out until now (the inevitable blurting). Though she still says she hates her brother when we have all known for a long time about her intense, intimate, raw, uncut love for him!
I know it's not something that should've been taken seriously, but the first part of Episode 9 really struck a chord in me because I essentially experienced the same thing. It's a good thing by the second half everything brightened up!

Everyone's thoughts are out in the open now, Kirino seems a little less tsun and a little more dere, Kuroneko's in a new town, might not be able to hang around as much (Kyousuke even mentions this episode 9's ending), and where the hell is Saori?
The dynamics are changed, even if it's ever so slightly.
The first 30 seconds of this episode was better than most of the rest of the season put together, and it only gets better from there. This episode was even better than the last one, I think.
They cut Claris, amazingly enough. I can never predict nything about this series correctly... But I'm not complaining, since they re-added one of my angel's scenes that they cut from an earlier episode instead! It's a bit confusing chronologically, but nevertheless, this episode should definitely win over some more people to Ayase's side.
The censorship laser on the Meruru bike was hilarious. I'm hope it'll remain for the BD.
Next episode is volume 10, the moving-out, as expected. I'm hoping it'll get two episodes, but the next episode title isn't enough to tell just yet. (If I were adapting things, it'd get 3 episodes and include the volume 12 flashback in chronological order, but that's really just my bias. I want the TV anime to end at the end of volume 10.)
My faith in this adaptation is growing by the episode. The first half was rough as hell, but they've really started pulling things together now - if they manage to stay together until the end, I might actually forgive the weak start.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ask but if so, could I be linked to a full summary of Vol 12 spoilers. It'd help me decide if I will continue to watch this series or not.
Oreimo is about the entirely innocent and completely normal relationship between Kirino Kosaka, the titular impossibly cute little sister, and Kyosuke, her doormat of an older brother. Along the way various other anime stereotypes such as the childhood friend Manami Tamura and the fujoshi Sena Akagi join in, and various otaku-related hijinks ensue. The second season promises to be more of the same.[/B]
yep, I can;t see how anyone was expecting something other than some sort of incest ending. My problem with the summary is how quick it all escalates, and how it feels like I've missed some part of the story. Will judge properly when I get to read the book myself.

The weirdest part about the plot to me is how confused it is. It's like it tries to compromise with the Kirino x Kyosuke relationship and on the other hand not being an disturbing end for many. They kiss, and? They get married and? and they try to be siblings after? Nothing happened anyway, what would be so hard about going back to nothing?
I didn't want an incest end, but maybe it would have been better than the kind of cop out that I've just read.
