I don't want him to end up with Manami anymore, she's a bitch, after this episode it better be Kirino. But judging by how much people don't like the LN's ending i'm expecting him to pull some Kodaka shit and run out of the room or something.
The Manami stuff that was shown isn't even half of it, but yeah, Team Mary Sue got wrecked. :P

Yeah I read what happened and I was not impressed. I have a feeling they might just show that stuff in the last 3 episodes because it seems pretty important
since it explains why Kyousuke became average
.

Manami seems to be an unlikable, boring choice. I wonder what the anime will do in the OVAs. Can see where Kirino comes from now, and nice to see the origin of her motivations.

Personally though, I don't think the reasoning is good enough for an incest ending, if that's where its going. Team Kuroneko go!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NO NO NO NO. Not true. Manami is king!

I really liked episode 13. I ship Manami, Kuroneko, Kirino, Saori, Kanako, Kirino and Ayase x Kyousuke so I was kind of going to win anyways.

I really enjoyed seeing more from Kirino's perspective and I find it quite funny in order to become like her brother she basically started excelling at everything which made her better than he was so he just gave up at everything since he couldn't live up to his little sister. Also Manami was great <3

I admire the optimism :p

For me the show is clearly building towards Kyousuke picking Kirino. I guess that doesn't guarantee a brother-sister love down necessarily, but I still think the people rooting for anyone else are going to be disappointed.

Obviously Ayase and Kuroneko have their own individual quirks, but if you put them together you kind of get Kirino. Maybe I'm giving the writer too much credit, but it seems like he is trying to position Kirino as the best of both worlds, with Manami being a non-entity. He has also attempted to justify Kirino's behaviour towards Kyousuke with the flashback stuff, as if to say "please like Kirino because that's where this is going."

I hope I'm wrong.

One of my favorite things I have ever seen in anime is now when Kirino first sees the eroge magazine and hears the calling of the "otaku" that changes her life.

While Manami is certainly the tamest, you still have to admire her willingness for accommodation. Any girl who finds out about your [S1]
kinky siscon eroge and immediately offers to do a little roleplay
isn't completely boring.

"Your romantic fixation on your brother is weird, you should stop doing that"

God, what a bitch!

Eh, its just because she is willing to do anything, outside of actually confessing to Kyou-chan, to acheive her goal. I think the Kuroneko comparison to her and Belphegor is an apt one.

Now I want to read the LNs, seeing as how butchered the adaptation supposedly is in comparison. Having that one instrumental character cut out is an example of that and a bummer, but maybe we'll see a flashback in the OVAs? I dunno, but reading those LNs would certainly make the world feel more fleshed out for me. However, I like the show as it is now either way and am genuinely touched by Kirino and Kyousuke's growing sibling relationship thoughout the show.
That is, if it doesn't all go to shit in some kind of incest ending. ;_;

Well, there's still 3 more episodes, so hopefully they can tie everything together and explain a bit more in those. I guess they're probably not going to touch
Sakurai
, but, it would probably fit to go back into the flashbacks and iron that out some more, it just felt too rushed.

And we really need tons of Kirino gifs, her reactions were absolutely priceless.

I'm no gif maker, but they certainly were hilarious.

I don't think we'll see
Sakurai
at all, unless the extra episodes go back again, but I don't think they will. Unless they do the flashback again from Kyosukes perspective.

Attack on Titan? But I need the chilling, yandere eyes of Ayase to get me moving in the morning...

I was waiting for AoT to end before watching it. I hear the pacing is boned.
I'll be watching Monogatari this season too. Senjougahara isn't exactly Kirino, but she can fill the empty space left by her absence. lol.

Watamote looks like a winner too, the manga is a laugh riot, I exect the show to be my show of the season. Although I hear Love Lab is turning out to be a winner too.

4 hours to go until the final episodes air worldwide online. Watch on Crunchyroll if you got a sub.

I marathoned the first season last night and this season today. This season is a little better viewed all at once, but is still boned in the pacing department and all the cuts still suck.
I'm still mad salty about ClariS being cut out.

But anyways, excitement!

Oh hell yes. I haven't been keeping up on the development of the series, and I thought the last episode was just a really disappointing end to the second season.

is there anyway to watch it withouth CR? since i don't have a premium account there. that said Oreimo has been great. Love the sounds that Kirino makes when she is getting what she wants. Also it has been a nice view into otaku life and the life arround tokyo. I hope one day i can visit there too.

Rubbing the salt in the Ayase and Kuroneko wounds right out the door. lol. Perfect.

EDIT: Goddamm that was brutal. Poor Kuroneko fans.

And so it ends.

I've been waiting for that
fight
since the LN spoilers came out the day it was released.

But yeah, ending was what I expected.

Anyways, done. I already knew the ending so no surprises really.

The show was definitely a guilty pleasure, the whole incest thing really bugged me though. I mean I know it's a show and all, but it was really creepy when it came up on SAO and it's creepy here. I don't even want to know what the mentality of the writer that came up with this stuff is like.

I guess it's supposed to be sweet and bittersweet since they both know they're relationship won't really go far, but some of the things said/done just put it over the top creepy level for me. "... incest for the win!"

As I type this, I feel like I'm over analyzing things, but it really bugged me more than I thought it would. It's just extremely cringe-worthy & creepy. I mean I guess it's normal on these type of shows, and I should have known it was coming, but meh.

Did I mention it was extremely creepy?

Fun fact: The sister in SAO and Kirino have the same voice actress! Also, she does a sisters voice in the show Kiss X Sis (Which is parodied in this all over the pace in this as "SisXSis"). themoreyouknow.jpg

Tracy Morgan nope.gif

Just.. Okay. So all of that,
spend a few months boning your sister, and then let's reset everything, and never talk about it again...
do I have that right?

I probably wouldn't be so disappointed if they didn't start out by
putting another knife in the Kuroneko wound and twisting it for like a good 7 minutes.

Oranges are tomatoes.

Welp. At least my music selection was spot on.
