Kirino got a sweet pink VitaWita. VitaWita saved.
Also, a heavy dose of Ayase. Bring it.

Why? I'm sure that Sony loves the free publicity. But the curious thing is that I have yet to see a DS/3DS on this kind of shows.

Because companies are too fussy over advertising.

I've seen the DS in other shows, but I can't pull an example off the top of my head right now other than Summer Wars.
Playstation is pretty popular for VN games, so at least that's why she uses it. Same with Sena in Haganai, and Keima in The World God Only Knows.

I love how much detail they went into for the game design of a product that doesn't actually exist. As said in the other thread, the episode was crazy funny, I'm so happy to have this show back.

What an amazing episode. Of course, it revolved around my angel Ayase, so there's no way it wouldn't have been, but still.
Everyone was at their best. Kirino being huehuehue, Kyousuke being beta-boss, Ayase being perfect, Manami being evil, and everyone else not appearing. Just as God intended.

The only thing that continues to worry me is the pacing. Not of this episode, which was great, but of the series as a whole.
I don't even remember this event at all... (edit - /a/ says it comes from a drama CD). There's a limit to how much you can shuffle things around and still say you're "covering all the novels". If that's really the goal, episodes like this will have to result in heavy cuts elsewhere.
Though, I'll take any cuts at all if they lead to more Ayase. Really, they should cut the boring (read: not Kirino or Ayase) parts of volumes 6 ~ 9, so we can get to 10 faster. That'd be nice.

Episode 2 endcard

This episode might be the "Manami's house" episode of the season. Really not much of a development in an overall plot, but lots of hijinks, which are the parts of the show I love so much.

Like PsionBolt said though, the pacing could be troublesome. I don't think they've confirmed one or two cour yet, so if it's a 2 season show they might be fine.

My name is Jexhius and I approve of this thread, which I didn't even realise existed until a minute ago.

All of the doormats on Team Kirino should just go all the way and jump ship to Team Ayase for the complete M experience.

I'm outta control

Ep 2 was funny, but how are they going to cover the novels at this rate?

Well, well, well... Kyousuke has been completely broken. There's no turning back for him now. I don't know quite how to put it, but the show's kind of changed when Kyousuke is actually settling into being an otaku, rather than being reluctantly forced through these situations.

Such a good episode! Although it was lacking in Kuroneko (and Rinko, lol), it did a really good job with everyone else. I loved how everyone was portrayed in this episode. Kirino was less abusive and more otaku dere, Kyousuke was expressive and passionate, Manami had more facial expressions than probably all of last season, and Ayase was basically the star of the episode.

I agree with the people worried that they might not have enough time for the rest of the plot. What I'm worried about, though, is that they might use these character-centric episodes (Ayase and Manami next, I assume) to gloss over any character developments that might be in the novels because they've already had screen time.

That being said, I enjoyed the comedy and the light mood. It was really entertaining. I'm not sure if I ever enjoyed an episode from last season as much as I did with this one. So much Hayami Saori too. Hayami and Nakamura Yuuichi did a really great job this episode. The episode's pacing felt good and all of the jokes hit the mark for me. Great episode overall.

I also keep hearing Chitanda and Oreki lol.

Edit: Oh, UltimaDrago might be right in that the next episode is about Saori. I'd like that, although I'd still be worried about the pacing.

I mentioned it above, next episode is about Saori. Official website says so.

No kirino is just stupid.. but you guys make a nice couple :)

Episode 2 wasn't that great but it was still above average.
The power of love plus shouldn't be underestimated. i amost fell into that trap years ago .Love plus "free mode" is addictive as possible and this anime version with improved voice recognition + touch mode + mail management ( triple como ) seems even deadlier.

Every gamer does that ( or do they ? )

but yeah it's creepy ..

This episode however lacked saori & kuroneko.
Episode 2 wasn't bad but could be better .. Ayase yandere mode is awesome :)

I really enjoyed episode 2. I guess I just like things that are heavy on character interactions, and this was great.
Nice to see Manami getting some love, too. Second best girl.

Made some avatars instead of studying for finals, because that's the smart thing to do.
