Fantastic episode.

"Have a shitty day." LMAO

I can't believe how much I love Donnie now. He and Alison never made sense before but now they do.

And the three original clones were back together, on the computer at least. I've missed that from last season.

Helena was great.

Rachel also was amazing in that emotion room. And I liked how her accent was slightly off when she played Sarah.

Donnie part of clone club is the best. Also DAT SWAG as he walked out of the van.

Rachael is really good, thank god they expanded on her. I don't mind them adding a new clone every season.

Proletheans substory is done — without making much sense but whatever — and I'm thinking the series should be wrapped up by next season. Watching Tatiana channeling different clones is fun (amazing really) but the schtick may wear thin soon (see the reaction to Tony) and won't be able to cover up for the weak plot anymore

The Prolethean subplot gives them a worthy exchange. I don't think Sarah is enough of an exchange for the Dyad, but Helena and her clone baby embryos...

Orphan Black: "Let's got out of our way to mention the Prolethian matriarch is out of town when her husband is murdered and their house is burned down."

GAF: "Welp, looks like they definitely wrapped that story up forever with no loose ends."

lol That's what I'm saying!! If anything she's the one who seems the most ruthless one out of the two.

Aren't you guys kind of jumping the gun a bit? We still have one episode left and barring that an entire Season after this one.

No? The main dude was killed off and their entire compound was destroyed. I'm sure the Proletheans will continue to play a part on the show, but it seems to me like this specific sect is dead.

Except I guess to impregnate Helena (and I guess Gracie/Mark will just disappear to live happily ever after(tm)) for next season.

Though I don't know if that will amount to much.

I don't expect to see Gracie and Mark again, but it would be nice if we did. If we get two new regulars out of it, I will consider that storyline a success.

Ha! Yeah, I don't think that subplot is done. Even if we never see Prolethian lady again, we still have Helena carrying those babies, so... What's going to happen there?!

As well as Gracie and her boy toy escaping I think it's pretty darn obvious we'll be seeing a return of that particular sect under the vengeful leadership of his wife.

Except Gracie and her fiance don't want anything to do with the Proletheans and the only other person left is the wife, who doesn't really seem capable of leading a vengeful group of religious zealots.

We also have no idea who did or did not survive. For all we know the main guy is alive, just with a particularly odd new piercing.

All we know is that the barn is burned down. I assume the main guy is dead, but I don't really think that she let everyone die in that fire. I'm assuming she let most of the children and some of the adults escape, and they could easily reform under the wife.

I don't think Helena would kill all those children.
One of the first reviews said they checked with the production team and they confirmed that a shot of the children escaping was cut for time. But yeah, I would have assumed as much anyways since Helena likes kids.

This episode was amazing. Great rebound after last week's was a little off his game. Donnie has really surprised me lately. He has been fantastic. Nice to see Helena fuck shit up and Marc/Grace get away.

LOL at Vic throwing up the gang sign right when Donnie says "Cheese" haha.

This killed me... haha. Such a funny little moment.

Did we ever find out what happened to Paul? He just sort of disappeared.

I had not even noticed. Did Dylan get a new gig or something? Has he had more than ten lines this season?

Too funny.

Might do a non-Tumblr'd version of have a shitty day.

This still trips me out a bit. Rachel owned that scene

The cinematography was especially wonderful in this episode. A lot of closeups, stunning lighting.

I checked who directed this episode -- a guy named TJ Scott. Will look forward to more episodes by him.

On Rachel, did anyone pick up the subtle clues almost immediately when she emerged as Sarah?

Instantly realized something was off with her perfectly curled hair, plus the posh British accent and the walk. A testament to Tatiana's Emmy-worthy acting.

Umm... wow we're almost at the end? It seriously feels like mid season right now. Is it just me or has nothing actually happened? I feel like we've made no real progress towards anything in this season. I think it's a pretty disappointing second season. Of course I haven't seen the finale... but I'm not sure it will save it.

I think they revealed wayyyyy too much in season 1. They should have rode out the mystery of the clones longer. I don't really understand where this show is going.

I'm sorta with you, there has been a lot of filler like Kira's dad being a babysitter to get the kid temporarily out of the way, and then never mentioned again. The strife between Sarah and Felix has also apparently been swept under the rug as well.

I've been getting progressively more worried that there's no godbook/architecture behind the "mystery" and that they're just making crap up as they go.

Whenever a game uses "middleware," I expect mediocrity. Just see how poor TLOU looks.
This season the show buckled, and I kind of hope season 3 is the end so they can come back with a rock-solid no-filler final season and tie up all the loose ends to go out with a bang of an ending. I don't want the show to drag on to the point where it goes down so far in quality that it ends up getting cancelled just to be put out of it's misery. And no more garbage episodes please like the Tony one, or filler characters like Cal that end up adding nothing to the bigger picture, or stuff like Allison's stage play taking multiple episodes to slog through. And I truly hope the fabulous Michelle Forbes sticks around for a bit. She has a tendency of showing up on all these great shows, but for very limited episodes.

So two of my favorite episodes, 3 and 9, were directed by TJ Scott. I wish he'd be more involved next season. John Fawcett, who directed the season 2 premiere (which I loved) and episode 8 (which I hated), will do the finale.

We'll see how it goes.

More than anything, I just want all the different plots to come together and make sense.

The thing that drives me the most nuts is that we have the guy in charge of the original clones experiment and we still don't know what the point of the experiment was ???

How can they write the mastermind of everything into the show and not have anyone ask him "why did you do this"..."who is the original clone"...'how many are there"...etc etc

We got this a few episodes ago.

The point of the experiment was simply to prove that human cloning was possible. The girls were "proof of concept." It's all rather boringly simple once you shed light on it.

The tension is coming from the fact that you just KNOW there's something more to it. Why, for example, would Dyad get involved and completely take over the experiment. There seems to be clear potential outside of merely cloning humans that Dyad wants to utilize.

I'm sticking to my original prediction. I think we're going to learn that the clones weren't just proof that cloning was possible, and that they've also been enhanced in various ways. It would explain the healing factor. And then I think next season is going to largely deal with that, and whatever this military mystery they've been peddling for 2 seasons ends up being.

She won the Critic's Choice Award tonight. It was kinda funny cause her table was so far in the back that the music clip they played ran out before she was halfway to the stage and she started running cause it was getting awkward.
