Outriders delayed to April 1, demo coming February 25

Kind of happy they're going this route. I'm definitely curious about the game, but something about it also seems... kinda hollow. So, I'm glad I can check out a demo before release!
 
Yeah I just heard about this, kinda bummed as this was the next game I was planning to get, big hole in my schedule now. Cool news about the demo though I suppose.
 
Can't make my mind up about this. At times it looks like it could be fairly decent. Other times it looks a bit meh.
 
I'm trying to reserve excitement for this but I really hope it turns into a good game. The skill trees alone make it worth a look. Doubt I'll be able to get any friends on board, but if the endgame is worth a pickup and play once a week or so, I'll be happy.
 
Doesn't look different, looks bland, and pedestrian. There doesn't seem to be anything iconic about the game.
This game is reminding me of "Fuse", a largely forgotten title.
 
There are times when I think this looks like it could be great. Cover shooters are a bit lame but this is the first time a Destiny knock-off looks like it's doing it right.

It looks underwhelming visually. Very brown... other than that. Looking forward to it.

Don't mind the delay. It's not like there's much coming out this year anyway

Can't anyone get the looter shooter formula right? Division 2 IMO is on the right track but the game is hampered by a limp dick developer in the form of Massive Entertainment. I fear for Star Wars IP in the hands of these gerbils.
Everything they touch turns to shit.

I'm still going to give this game a go but from the get-go this game failed to Wow me in any sort of meaningful way.

I do appreciate your feedback. Thanks for that.
 
I just dont see where this game is designed to sit, it has nothing special or standout about it from what I played. Aiming for the Destiny crowd possibly but I cant see anything that would make someone give that up for this. Seems like a by the numbers generic looter, which are getting a bit old now. Maybe there is a lot more to the full game?
 
Played a few hours with friends last night and we had a blast. The story is 1000x better than Destiny already, I'm super intrigued over where it's going.

That said, it is kinda janky. Especially the cover mechanics and vaulting.

Basically my thoughts. If they can take these next two months to polish the game, I can see myself coming back to it a lot. I'm already a big fan of this game and I didn't even even watch the marketing for it. I just played the demo.

It just needs polish. If they can provide that by April 1st, I think Square has something there.

the parkinson guy holding he camera in the cinematics should be fired ASAP

as some ppl have said... this is tier B game... like binary domain, alpha protocol and such.

Doesn't look worth more than $20 at best



Tons of games deserved PC-Xbox-PS crossplay more than this...

Played a bit on ps5 last night even after the updates textures on clothing were good but as for the characters faces there was no texture and almost looked like they colours of their faces where dark at times. It's very inconsistent and the music in area is abit overboard to what's going on onscreen..I assume it's just because it's a demo so I'll wait for actual release to play.
