Lucio is my second most played hero completely by accident. I mean, literally multiple hours at a time of playing nothing but Lucio. 61 total Lucio games with a 70.5% winrate because I just wanted to win, but no more. I want to play Pharah. If we lose, whatever, but I'm tired of Lucio. I hate Lucio. I can't take it anymore. (I'll end up playing Lucio again tonight for sure because having a Lucio is how you win. Losing is awful, but I'm gonna vent anyway man.)

Same thing here, won 10 randoms in a row yesterday because I said f it and played Lucio every time. When I logged on I had intentions of trying some new characters but nope, didnt' happen. I waited until last seconds a few times to pick but nope, nobody else wanted to heal (one time someone did try going Symmetra for the sole support but of course that wouldn't have worked so...) Still, 10 wins in a row felt good.

Today I logged in determined to not heal/play Lucio. Five straight losses later I may have to cave just to get the 1st win of the day bonus. > < It's crazy in these randoms everyone is 30+ yet nobody will pick Lucio. Surely they all know he's OP winning machine but I guess everyone is taking a break at the same time. :)

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
If i'm not playing support no one else does, this community is awesome so far.

Nah. Compare it to something like Reaper's where you're basically guaranteed to get kills.

You need two hits minimum, usually more.

That's because Reaper is the lazy person's Genji/Tracer

Why is it considered good then? I've never seen anyone on Xbox get a play of the game with his ult.

I got one last night. All you gotta do is have your team push the front, then you flank from behind. Kill the Mercy/lucio for no revives heals, slash up the weak dudes for easy kills, jump around the tanks to take their fire away from your teammates.

Its not something you can just jump off a roof and hit DIEDIEDIE, it takes flanking and coordination from your team.

I've had way more problems with people picking appropriate DPS roles than filling out tank/support roles. If we're trying to push with Reinhardt, we need something better than two Genjis and a Reaper

That's probably why. Genji is likely just not that good with an analog stick. You need to be able to snap your aim around in all directions to get anything done with him.

Or any kind of noticable play.

Oh, console. Eh, its probably not great on there. Slow turn radius and all, on PC it isn't uncommon to see a good Genji get a quad kill with his ult.

I thought so. Problem with a stick is I have to decide whether to go higher sensitivity for easier escape/better movement or lower sensitivity for better aim. I'm trying a middle ground but it is hard to hit.

My bad really. I should probably add the platform in complaints from now on. It is quite different on PC after all.

We're all just moving ourselves to the rhythm.

I'd love to see some people's stats. The very thought of people complaining about there never being healers in their games but a healer isn't in their top 5 is just crazy to me. Like how do you complain about something you never do lol

Yeah it's crazy. Some peole even wait until the very last few minutes when we can't make the push to swap to a healer.

i've done play of the game on PS4 with his ult. you kinda have to up your sensitivity to play genji well on console.

for perspective, my sensitivity on just about every other hero is like 30-40. on genji its at like 80-90. i had it at 100 for a while but it was a bit unwieldy after playing other heroes so i had to lower it. tracer is around 50-60ish i think? can't remember, i barely play her.

Some guy named xEnishi was pissed that his team lost on Ilios the match before that he said he's going to icewall in his team next match... well most of his team left but he still did it anyways so I got a free loss on Dorado because we played 5v6 and whoever had to wait on his stupid walls.

People legit blow my mind on how childish they can be.

I had this EXACT same thing (not the same gamertag though, the guy in mine was called Crohn or something). Picks Mei, icewalls us into spawn, then switches to Torbjorn and builds a turret in the spawn room and just jumps around it the entire game. What's the point?

Some people just want to screw around.

Do you still hit well with the shurikens at that sens? What's your vert/horiz sensitivity?

He isn't

The fact that you even said that with a mei avatars disappoints me friend. We all know who runs the show here.

there can be more than one bae. This isnt The Highlander

My win percentage as Lucio is 49%, my win percentage with Roadhog is 67%. My overall is 56% (the other characters I've played a lot are all around that 56% mark). I prefer the Roadhog tank role but I choose Lucio when we need a support character but I must not be doing something right or maybe when I feel the need to fill the support role, that's a bad sign for the team I'm on. I don't know. I do know I have a really hard time watching the team look at the objective but not approach it when I'm Lucio. With Roadhog, I feel like I can start a push, with Lucio, even after activating my ult, I feel helpless to get players on the point. It's less of an issue for escort, just games that need a push.

Hes a really good flanker.
On an escort objective just find your way round the back of the enemy lines and uleash your Ult you can get 2-3, four if you time your stuff well. His dash elimination reset helps close the distance so you can move from enemy to enemy quickly.

Ive gotten PotG with him a bunch of times.

Lol I've just seen a play of the game from Genji with his ult on Lirik's stream. Now I understand everyone's reaction.

2 solo queue games before work, 2 wins. I shall not tempt the fates by playing a third, think ill just have a shower and shave and relax a bit >_>

also my plan to play dps that I dont like to get better didnt work when my first game didnt have a tank (went winston) and then second game no support (so went lucio).

This is what Genji can do on PC: https://www.twitch.tv/a_seagull/v/69728040?t=05m56s

In fairness, most Genji players still aren't this good but it should illustrate why analog sticks are just inadequate. It's already hard enough on a mouse.

They could always rebalance Genji on consoles.

I don't know about anyone else but... I keep failing to get the Die Die Die... Die! trophy. I always manage a triple kill but that 4th? It's a tank who lives through it. :'(

I got mine on Dorado Attack.

I shadowstepped onto the bridge near the midway point then dropped down yelling DIE DIE DIE. That's the best way to get that achievement I think. A drop that people don't notice until it's too late.

Seems my overall winrate is 56.1% after 280 games, better than I expected actually.

edit : oh and 79.2% with Symmetra, really like using her on defend.

It's a shame we've never been matched up.

Zenyetta is a situational support. He's great at a static defense. He's also great with a Symmetra or Torbjorn on the team.

Yea I've seen some good ones on other teams and streams, but I feel like lost everytime one is picked on my team they're new to him or pick him because he looks cool.

Two Genjis and a Reaper on Payload just upsets me. Because more often than not not a single one of them is ever going to even touch the Payload an inch, much less stay on it even when the enemy team is dead.
