Good games with the 6-man premade tonight, Vault, LiK, Papercuts, and anyone else that was there whose PSN ID doesn't match up with their GAF name. :p

That 3-2 come back on Ilios from 0-2 was top notch, only the third one I've done in almost 500 hours of playing the game.

Finally started to recover from the god awful competitive matchmaking. Seriously 80% of comp matches I've played were one side steamrolling the other, doesn't feel balanced to me.

Fun times indeed. I've been a part of 5 or 6 of those turnarounds and 1 or 2 collapses. The collapses were with randoms though.

That Gibraltar match was still my favorite, though that was just you, me, and lrg IIRC. Can't believe we held there.

If we had moved our payload to just a little bit around that one choke point, I would have felt a lot more comfortable about it. But yeah, we barely held and my butthole was clenched the entire time.

Ah well, last game of the night with LRG was a loss. Down to 2906. Kinda wanted to stay above 3000 tonight. Maybe tomorrow. I wasn't playing that well tonight for whatever reason.

Maybe we played too long. I know by that last game, I was starting to feel pretty tired and lazy. Didn't help we had to go up against two Top 500s. :p

You couldn't have done any worse than my McCree performance on Anubis.

Lmao I baited a 4 man rez from Mercy with my Reaper Ult completely charged and just let them have it the second they recovered. Mercy got the PoTG so we all got to watch her resurrect her team and die. My whole team was laughing, it was awesome

Yea, got tired but wanted a few more wins. Need to remember not to push myself or else it'll just be a loss. We should do another 6 man tomorrow. At least we didn't really get steamrolled by other full groups.

How come you didn't play Mei often? You're always great with her. I rarely see her when we play.

Thursday night is when our podcast crew records, but I'll be on until around 8:30pm EST.

Not only did we not get steamrolled, but we made that one other full group wait out the final game of the match in their spawn. :p

Yea, tomorrow should be good.

Also, I noticed my sensitivity for Soldier sucks ass. I need to adjust it to aim better. What do you guys use for him? I need to know.

Yeah, I can't hit shit with a controller on higher sensitivities. I've always played low sens on almost every console FPS I've ever played (DOOM being a recent exception, where I played on a much higher sensitivity than I'm used to).

On Mouse/Keyboard, I use 1800dpi and the default in-game sensitivity of 15.

Go into the Training Arena with all the practice bots and keep adjusting it until you feel something good.

Practice doesn't help me for some enemies. I do fine with him against them but I def need to adjust it specifically for Pharah. No one seems to know how to deal with her well even at Diamond level. I'm gonna practice and be a hard counter with Soldier. Good Pharahs at our level is just infuriating.

I can't seem to play on PS4 anymore, at least not competitive. My console keeps ejecting the disc in the middle of the game and randomly turns on to eject the disc at other times when the console isn't even powered on.

Anyone experienced anything like this?

I have no idea what causes that, but I've certainly heard of it before.

I get why they got rid of the avoid player feature but getting grouped twice with the same guy who just whined in spawn after people died was real dumb, almost back to back was real dumb. Reported him both times but who knows if that's actually doing anything.

Also has anyone else still not pick the their gold weapon? If I continue playing comp at this rate I might reach max points by the end of the season but I still suck too much with most of the cast to pick a gold weapon that looks good. :(

Bah down to 3264. I really don't think I'll ever hit master. When I get close I start getting about 15 per win and I lose 30-40 per loss. Diamond was my goal so I guess I should just be happy with that. Gotta try to have more fun with the game and stop worrying about this shit so much.

so, like, if you get a longish (10) win streak does the game start throwing you HARDER competition? Ever since my winning streak this morning I've faced a full team of 6, 2 teams of 3, and a 6 platinums peeps vs. me (platinum) and 5 golds... OK.

lost them all, the streak is dead, down to 2471SR. -__-

do you play at the same time everyday? I noticed that I lose badly (like, nonstop) when I play in the afternoonish time, but I can eke out a win or two or three if I play in the early AM or late evenings.

you should try playing at different times throughout the day. \m/

Dude what the fuck is going on. For the last three matches I've been matched with premades with a diamond in their group of all plats while I end up with two golds on ours and some how these people have a "lower" sr rating.

These a real diamonds by the way because they absolutely shit on the clueless golds I'm getting.
