Isn't it Bastion's turf? Makes sense its abandoned if thats where he was

Only for special events, im pretty sure you can buy this skin with in-game currency in the future.

I believe we'll know more about Sombra either Thursday after the Bastion short premiere, or after the Summer Games event ends.

At any rate, the map looks gorgeous.

I know, but I find it weird that an otherwise fine looking village as been straight up abandoned. You can see a large metropolis off in the distance, so you'd think this place would be a nice tourist destination.

But you're right on the money with this place being Bastion's map. I thought it would be Reinhardt's location, but it would make more sense for this area to be the setting for the upcoming Bastion animated short.

It could be both Reinhardt and Bastion's locations in the sense that Reinhardt was there many decades ago when he was young, and Bastion makes it his home much later after it is abandoned. Might be a relic of the Omnic War.

gotdamn it, fuck Blizz if I've been hoarding over 12k credits for nothing, and fuck me for putting in werq to get that new Rein skin anyway! T__T

If Tracer's any indication, Zarya's abilities will be taken from her tool set from Overwatch.

And I think it's awesome that Zarya will be joining the fight in Heroes of the Storm, as she's one of the more unexpected choices for that game.

This is pretty much what I think it is. Reinhardt has a voiceline in the game where he says "this isn't a castle, it's a tomb", which probably means that many people have died in it. I assume that perhaps the inhabitants of the village sought refuge in the castle but the Omnics broke through and killed them all there.

Since there's so many broken Bastion units scattered across the map, I assume that "our" Bastion managed to survive that battle somehow.

It probably is the turf for both characters, much like the Shimada brothers share Hanamura with each other.

As for why it was abandoned... If my theory is correct and the inhabitants of the village were slaughtered with few to no survivors, there simply weren't enough people interested in restoring their home, and even if there were survivors, I assume many would opt to not be reminded of the atrocities that happened there.
That's why the town was simply abandoned. As a memorial to the Omnic war.

Has a leaver penalty for QP been established outside of the EXP penalty? Just had a match where the attacking team rolled us because people were constantly leaving the whole time. I think the only time we had 6 people was when the payload was about 10m from the finish.

Confirmation from the video description. :D

The site of one of the most famous battles during the Omnic Crisis, it was here that the leader of the Crusaders, Balderich von Alder, and a handful of his best soldiers made a last stand against an advancing automaton army. Outnumbered and outgunned, they were ultimately slain during the resulting combat. However, thanks to their valiant efforts, the German military was able to push back the omnic offensive and win the fight.

On this map, one team must escort a battering ram to Eichenwalde Castle to reclaim Balderich’s remains from their current resting place, while the opposing team does everything in its power to thwart the keep from being breached.

On PS4 in the last days I was kicked out in some games a few times due to server errors. You can rejoin after but it takes a while. I noticed that also happened to some other players because they were always leaving/entering the game. Generally quitters just leave the game when things go bad, and don't come back.

With the exception of her Olympic-themed skins, I agree. Zarya was shortchanged in the awesome alt. skins department. Having a Starcraft-themed outfit for her would be so badass, especially the hairstyle that accompanies this one.

Watch them make a Heroes of the Storm bundle skin pack in the future where you can buy all those skins for Overwatch.

Hey, guys. I jumped back into Overwatch PC after a month off and suddenly, the game runs horribly. Like, 10FPS on everything as low as possible. Is there any info regarding this?
