Mercy is a tough one. The consensus seems to be "Be nice to someone who chose healer" But I can promise you that I'm having a blast playing Zen and Ana, don't feel bad for me. Lucio almost always feels like a 'we need this, so I'll do it' pick. Which I appreciate 100% of the time, even if they are a mediocre Lucio. I know I don't like it when I get stuck with him.

Mercy though? It's somewhere in the middle. I've met enough really good Mercy players that I don't like to judge them right away. But a lot of the time it seems like they are not making much of an impact, and then they run off to make their 'no one helps me memes'. Like I understand that you should help out your supports, but you really want me to babysit you all game so that you can get your elite 4 man rez POTG with your Waifu after sitting behind Reinhardt all game? Ehhhhhhhhhhhh.


Good Mercy's are fucking amazing

Chipshajen for support.

Harryhook, zuppe and tviq are great players aswell.

I like playing Mercy but am quite tired of Lucio, getting better with Ana and zen but with Ana aim is a bit of a problem.

Lucio...the speed bursts are over people.

I think people who don't play support regularly have very little awareness of just exactly how much a good support keeps them alive during battles.

Most of the time when I'm playing lone support, I'll be healing my team constantly and then a flanker that they ignored manages to find and get me, and by the time I respawn either they're all dead or all spamming that they need healing. And then at the end of the game they all vote for the Reaper that got POTG over the support that healed nearly 30% of all their damage taken.

Last night I played Mercy and in the middle of healing a Genji he ran away from a Reaper (to a point where I couldn't jump to him) and left me to die, then as I respawned he was spamming "I need healing" to which I verbally shouted at the TV "You let me die, you fuck!"

It's a rough life.

I booped a Mei off Genji and the Genji proceeded to leave and let me get frozen and killed.

It's just like when there's a flanker spamming for healing and they're three walls deep and I'm with the team and I'm going to prioritize them over you. If you want to run into FoV you can get a heal then but when I'm the only healer, I'm staying with the bulk of the team. ESPECIALLY as Lucio.

Whenever I play Genji, I make hardcore use of health packs and if I ever need support heals, I'll go to them.

Played Lucio on Industries as no one else would swap (I know I suck at Lucio). We pushed the first point, and should have taken the second immediately - I speed boosted, ulted and it was 5 v 5.

Dps all died. Then proceeded to continue playing footsies and constantly losing. A two stack on my side were just running in one by one all the time.

I just switched to D.Va on defence, because fuck it, we'd already lost. Got Gold Elims, Gold Damage, Gold Objective Elims, Gold Healing and PotG with a D.Va ult. Why do I bother playing support? I'm shit at it, and decent at tanking.

...really? you thought this was the time to do that? boy this hammer sure is effective against the ult specifically designed to push close range characters away.

Looks like it's counting down to her release on the PTR, then. I get that a new character has to get tested out on the PTR for a few days before going live, but it's hella anticlimactic (especially for console players).

hmm, is third person over the shoulder camera for spectating a new thing they added recently? Last time I spectated it was a third person camera with the character in the center instead if i'm not misremembering. It's not too bad with majority of the characters, but watching Roadhog/Reinhardt becomes a bit messy.

So few Lucios that I see make use of his wallgrind which is sad. They just go left and right and jump a bunch. If I have taken any knowledge of my time as Scoot on TF2 into Genji and Lucio it's the fact that the average person is REALLY bad about aiming up.

Then again wall grinding kinda puts you in a very predictable trajectory.

People have more trouble dealing with adading.

Unless you are jumping from wall to wall your movements are predictable while wallriding. Though it is good for contesting above kings row first point. Very hard to kill you from up there while you still get to contest the point. It got me a few wins I shouldn't have back when I played ps4.

And I don't necessarily mean riding up the circular walls of a KOTH spot. I'm talking about stuff like the pillars on Anubis's final point. You can bounce off those and easily be a nightmare to target.

These loot boxes aren't falling for me - even the ones I paid for. Pumpkin Reaper is great but I'd trade it in for Witch Mercy or Junkenstein.

My best chance might be to grind another 17 levels to the reset, and take it from there.

Check out Harbleu. He's one of the best Roadhog players in the game right now.

The health buff for Winston's ult is nice for distraction but man every time I leap into the air all I can think is that his ult should basically be being able to meteor crash onto the enemy team for massive damage once you've jumped into the air.

Maybe that'll be a Doomfist ult
