I never got any of the quad kill trophies from assists. Even the Genji one when it said "Quadruple Kill" once. All mine had 4 killing blows. Wish I got them with assists. Did you get them recently?

I can tell you now after spending 20 hours getting Genji's quad kill, you definitely need to get the killing blows during dragon blade. I don't know if dash/reflect work but eliminations don't count. You have to be on the kill feed. I went countless times getting 4-5 eliminations during dragonblade but never got the trophy.

I don't know what to tell you guys. I'm not home until later this evening but I'll find the screenshots from when I got the trophies. I am barely in the kill feed. I remember very specifically when I got my Genji trophy a Pharah ulting on my team got most of the killing blows.

Does playlist matter?

Can you get achievements in the Weekly Brawls at all?

If you were duo queueing, what two character choices do you think would make the biggest impact for the team?

My friend and I duo-queue often, and we usually end up either picking 1 tank + 1 healer or 2 healers. But it's really hard to gauge even in duo-queue... we've won with some really non-optimal team setups and we've lost to outright troll setups (6 Reapers, for example).

There was a Junkrat on our team?? The Roadhog was awful. Even in the POTG, he hooked Reaper after his death blossom had killed 3 people and he only had like 150 health left so he died to Reaper anyway.

I'll be on in an hour and hopefully my internet will be a bit better. It just seems to shit the bed when it's the evening or weekend. Sky are just terrible, will probably switch to Virgin if they can't sort it.
They were a duo queue together.
Just got on if you wanna group up. I'll try my best to play better than yesterday haha.
Sorry just saw this message. About to go off now.

Is it worrying if matches take 3 min to find sometimes on ps4?

Also, how donI gain currency and that purple currency

Also, how do I tell what level my individual hero is

Maybe trophies are glitched for you lol.

1. No
2. normal gold is gained by getting duplicates/chests in loot boxes
3. competitive points are gained from competitive mode. !0 for win, 3 for draw, 0 for loss. You also get a bulk amount at the end of the season depending on how well you do.
4. No level for heroes. Everyone is playing with the same heroes, only cosmetic differences.

playing a game after being away after 5 weeks and reducing my dpi from 2000 (LOL) to 800 and playing as ana was pretty painful. hello everyone.

1. Probably not, it happens sometimes. Also, most people are playing ranked probably.

2. You gain credits from duplicates or just plain money drops from loot boxes. The amount of credits depends on the rarity of the item. It scales up using the same system as regular drops. As for the purple ones, those are comp points that you obtain from playing the ranked mode that unlocks at level 25. You get them from either winning matches or causing a draw.

3. There are no individual hero levels, just your main level.

Kings Row. Attack. Defense B.
Bastion is murdering us around the corner on the far end. he's tearing my Rein shields to shreds, and I have to continuously find cover while poor Mercy tries to keep us all alive.

And through all this we have a god damn Pharah and Soldier 76 who are allowing this to happen for what seems like ages.

I wanted to message the Pharah at the end of the losing match. But I didn't want to be that person. Just really frustrating that they were letting Bastion do this. He was out in the open. Few rockets or helix rockets would have killed him in no time.

Played a match just like this, except there were TWO Bastions set up on the payload we pushed 95% of the way until we stalled. They got too cocky though, and pushed all the way to our spawn with everyone except the Bastions which they left behind to guard the payload.

As Pharah I managed to escape our spawn and snuck behind them all, even the 2 Bastions, and had my ult ready. Dropped down behind them, ulted them into oblivion. Jumped onto the payload and escorted it to the finish all by myself.

Cries of "WTF!" and "OMG!" went through match chat, to which I simply replied "You're welcome." It was one of the most satisfying wins I've ever had.

Isnt 6 randoms against 2 randoms and two 2man teams a bit unfair?
I think it was Kor who said this, but 6 randoms have a much better chance at having better communication because the two groups of 2 might be in group chat.

So really your team has the advantage here.

And again, it's impossible for MM to completely avoid these kind of match ups. There's nothing that can be done to change it. At least they made it to where it at least tries to have equal grouping.

You know, Winston can be a really pain in the ass to kill if your team doesn't have a Zenyatta or a Reaper. Especially the good ones that constantly move around.

Well, my competitive fortunes are looking up. Just had an absolute stomp on Ilios, four gold medals as Zarya. It was funny: after we creamed them the first round, one of the enemy team left. Then, after the second round, three more left. Almost felt bad about it, but after some of the terrible matches I've had recently, it felt good to be on the other side for once.

The third round started with the remaining two trying in vain to mount an offense for a little while. Then, as we rush their spawn, we see the Roadhog on the team standing at the door spamming emotes. I figure, "Oh, we're just going to end it like that, huh?" and joined him.

Then the beeping starts, and I couldn't help but laugh: while we were all horsing around at the spawn door, the other enemy, a Junkrat, had snuck out the side spawn and was taking the point. Those tricky bastards actually captured it for a little while, before we rushed back and I destroyed his Rip Tire before he even had a chance to launch it. Had to give him credit: that was a damn good ploy. Would have sent a friend request if he hadn't immediately spammed the n-word in the chat afterward; kinda ruined the moment.

So I just got Overwatch on PC after playing the PS4 version since launch. For the most part I'm settling in just fine and enjoying it for the most part. What I am currently having issue with, though, is the incredibly lacklustre teams I am being put in. While it's probably because I'm a low level and being matched up with other low level players, I can't help but feel that I'm losing through very little fault of my own.

Does anyone know how I can find more proficient teammates or, at the very least, play in higher skill level matches? Or will I just have to live with it until I get to level 25 for competitive play?

So is Torb considered underpowered like Widowmaker and Symm? I want to use these guys but am afraid of hurting my team

I like using torb. What nerf did widowmaker get on console?

friend request sent, though i'm in qp mode right now before glorious wrestling that i get bored of in 15 minutes and return to Overwatch after.

I had a mostly successful day keeping a calmer mind about matches, though I suppose it helps that even on the losing side I could tell the team was solid and I'd performed well myself.
Almost back to my season high of 2922...

But of course I can't escape the daily tilt, it's nigh on impossible and as usual Anubis Point B on attack is the culprit.
Trading in yesterdays cowardly Rein we have cowardly Zarya whose allure to the central path is just too strong where she spends practically the entire game just dancing around blowing bubbles and achieving nothing.
A match where on no less that three occasions I enjoy the following scenario
"ready for transcendence"
"group up with me"
*gets ignored but by chance two or three others follow down the left path*
*throws discord on the biggest threat, pops my ult LET'S GOOOO*
And then no one follows, they just stand in the doorway shooting pew pew shots

Do people still not understand Zen's ult? why the hell are people so averse to pushing with it? WHY? WHY? WHY?!
Same match includes A Roadhogg spending an entire ult on a single enemy twice, one of which was Junkrat.

In conclusion

On a lighter transcendence note there was one event I just had to bust out laughing to my friend over the mic about, we're about to lose point A on Hanamura, I pop desperation Transcendence leaving it up to a Torb to try and take advantage of the near invincibility to take them out.
But instead of firing his gun his plan is to drop a turret on the point and start hammering it, I almost had tears of laughter in my eyes witnessing this incredibly bizarre plan which of course failed immediately as his turret got massacred, maybe he thought his turret could achieve tranquillity?

Ugh, so many matches in solo queue, I see my teammates go rushing up the center every single time. Not just on Anubis, but pretty much any map where there are flanking routes to the point; nope, down the center every single time. Like, it's not Volskaya or Eichenwald where there's really only one path to Point A; you have so many options on how to go, all of which have a lot more cover and are easier to deal with than charging right up the middle.

A lot of people don't understand it. I've played a lot of games lately where the Zen pops it to counter a D.Va ult - which alone is silly if you're not just blowing it to save your own skin - and half the team sticks next to him, dies and I'm standing around a corner nearby, shakin' my head.

a lot of peeps think Zen's invulnerability = the entire team is invulnerable if close enough. LOL I've had team members RAGE that the Zen wasn't 'close enough' to them and that's why they died... xD

It's almost like people are hypnotically attracted to a glowing enemy Reinhardt shield, some guys just can't help themselves from following the main path and firing at it.
Especially confusing when you notice a Reaper on your team joining in.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the reason some people are wary of following the ult into battle.

never join team chat.

Ya, I got blamed for being a "shit Mercy" last night, even though I had 14,000 healing, offered up Rez's on request, and was flying in to do a 3x Rez on the objective in Overtime as the guy was calling me shit. The Rez did nothing, they just died instantly.

It takes some fucking balls to blame your healers for your own inadequacy. Maybe the guy just wanted me to pull out my pistol and get the kills for him, too. Another player from our team defended me and I knew that I wasn't playing badly, so it didn't bother me too much.

This happens so often, it's ridiculous. Life of a support. You can always tell the players who have never even tried playing support in their entire Overwatch careers, they have ridiculously unrealistic expectations for what the supports are capable of.

For anyone that might be interested, I finally made the navigation controller work on PC. It is not a satisfactory solution for all FPS games as it constantly swaps between controller and mouse/keyboard and it requires a lot of trial and error configuration but, luckily, it works fairly decent in Overwatch (and I tried several heroes). Really, I was struggling to jump while shooting and since I use this, I feel like I have improved suddenly.

Nevertheless, I will still save money for the one that was linked in the prior topic if it does not have these problems, but for 9€ it was worth the risk and I am going to enjoy OW a whole lot more from now on.

Fucking competitive.

We get absolutely steamrolled on each point on Kings row. I'm literally always the last one alive before I get focused down. Then we go on attack and someone picks attack Torbjorn. I'm just so done with this game. He did absolutely nothing. Didn't even hit one molten core. My whole team aside from me and the Mei were absolutely shocking. The opposing Reaper was ruining everyone and he wasn't even a good Reaper so I was forced to baby sit the idiots who couldn't see him flanking. Literally each point went to overtime with either my death blossom or Mei's blizzard turning it in our favour. Our Lucio would drop the beat when there's only 2 people left. And our Roadhog was shocking as well. Didn't do anything to disrupt their DPS. It was just a fucking mess all round.

I went 25-2 on attack and we still couldn't cap the final point. And yet somehow I deserve to drop 30 points for my team mates being worse than brain dead. They purposely sabotaged the game after the first round. Fucking pathetic.

Just had the most insane McCree on my team in Solo-Q. Dude used to be a pro Quake 2 player. His name all over the kill feed.

We won; I definitely got carried that game.

I have seen many players bunny hopping around the maps… NOW I ALSO CAN. I could even pick Lucio and… Ok, maybe that is still too much. The controller scheme in its current status is not perfect either.

Oh man, now I do want the other controller.

Well it finally happened. I had an intentional feeder in ranked who also picked Mei to block us off of points. We could've won even 5v6 if she hadn't blocked me at the end.
