They take epic games and make them meh (Panzer Dragoon) and/or completely miss the point of them (House of the Dead).
I was happy enough with their remake of the original.
They need to dial down the colours for this one though.
And as with the original they won't touch the soundtrack

Watching footage of Zwei I'd rather they just port the original game tbh. I think the remake sucked the soul out of the original game.

Man, this should of been given to Nightdive studios.
First wasn't quite the train wreck that everyone makes out, but it definitely lacked the soul of the original.
Hopefully Forever will do a better job this time around.

Screenshots worse than I expected. Fuck Forever so much for ruining the chances of getting anything (new) decent out of these series in my lifetime. This shit is like someone ran the original through AI or something, just weird ass crappy assets that somewhat resemble the outline of the original low poly stuff in HD completely missing the actual intent of the artwork that's evident both in the original games and the concept art and even in how Orta handled the higher fidelity for that universe (even though I found that game to also be a bit of a watered down take on what came before).

Unfortunately it's kind of a trick bag. If we don't buy it, Sega will use that as proof no one is interested in their Saturn era games...but this does look pretty rough from those screens.
