My mouse has buttons, 12 would be overkill for me. For me WASD feels so bad unless I want early onset carpal tunnel lol. Using my thumb for all skills on the side of a mouse would be awkward, I like using ASDF for them.
Something you got to get used to. This combo is meta for all PC games that isn't fighting/racing.

I used to have a Tartarus. However, having to switch from keyboard to Tartarus to type is pretty annoying. Additionally, it just clutters the desk.

Playing on console and trading by using the POE2 website is a nightmare. Too slow and too clunky. Why not integrate into the game? Pc players have much better time and advantages.

These guys like pack of wolfs man. Every time a decent 2 hand mace up for sale and it is gone in second. I could not compete.

People have tons of nice gears on there. Much better than your typical drops. I have not seen any of my drops come close to that and I am in the middle of cruel 2nd Act.

Can someone with high level tell me it will get much better on in term of gears drops?

Bah, I've got a ton of XIII uncut gems but not XIV to make that :D

Anyone played the couch co-op mode on PlayStation? How does it work? Is it dumb like Diablo, where everyone needs their own PSN / GGG account? Or can I just buy it once and play with the fam?
It's great. I thought we'd need to use 2 accounts, so put my son's account on my Pro, we both signed in and.... didn't need to. It just made a 2nd character on my account. Now, he can't go buy the pack and play that character on his own ps5, has to play through mine, but it also means I can boost it up a bit for him when he's not playing. Swings and roundabouts but as is it works best for us.

I just tried out this farm, and I got a lot of valuable orbs in the span of only 20 minutes. Even an exalt too.

Pretty good. The upcoming patch will most likely nerf it, I imagine.
I did it *a lot* yesterday. Ended up with an extra 850k gold as well as about 10 uniques and tons of gems/currencies/whatever, which all made making my gear a bit more presentable a breeze.

"no ragrets"

I have zero clue how the trial of sekhemas works so I just skipped it to act 3 :messenger_grinning_smiling:

I'm doing stuff, then die in 10 seconds. The End
If you're on console it might be the interact with the crystals thing - you have to take the skill of the interact button (A, X) or you'll not be able to interact with the crystals. That's only one of the game types, but it was the first I got and it was a bit WTF is even going on here...

Getting my feet wet in maps with my warrior. Just when I felt I was doing alright on modded t1 maps (decent mob and boss clear, no deaths), I got instakilled when I tried to do a t2 breach. I couldn't tell how I died so fast.
There's no way to figure this out, like through a combat log, right?

Did yall do any trading? Seems like no one js responding so it has no use. Tried a dozen times and nothing..
Probably did about 5 trades so far. Only one time the guy didn't respond. Every other time I got an invite within like 30 seconds. People might not be responding just gauge interest perhaps idk

So it looks like Guilds are by character rather than account? Just checking because I keep switching between 4-5 characters and want to get added on one so I'm not inconveniencing anyone :messenger_grinning_sweat:

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife

Yeah. Bought an upgrade to premium stash tab so I can sell some stuff I don't have use to. Already sold a few items.

Just use or phone or pc/mac and log in to your user on the same page (www.pathofexile.com/trade2), you can press whisper on the webpage (on the phone or pc), and it will send it in the game.

It's still early (Level 11) for me, but I am considering a respec. Running with a Witch with Spell and Minion Damage, but I am getting blasted by mobs and bosses take a while to kill. Should I stick with this or is there a build I want to be targeting?

There is so much to this game and I am still learning the ropes. So, if anyone can assist me with some stuff, that would be great.

Steam deck perf update. Some of the act 3 zones are quite CPU heavy and FPS is dropping into the 30s. Still playable but noticeably worse than the 45 FPS I am getting most everywhere else.

Raxx's minion guide I posted earlier is good. Lots of stuff you can use in the guild stash.

Try out this build. You can literally melt both mobs and bosses pretty quickly. I'm level 28 now and it is by far the most powerful build I've played.

Alright, I'm progressing through t2 with my warrior. My build is a bit wonky, as I didn't want to follow a top tier streamer build. I focused on (increased damage on) block, armor break, but I'm holding my own still, but I can't go all out on breaches. Curious to see what GGG has in store with the mentioned shield buff.
My 'rotation' is still leap, followed by igniting/exploding bone shatter which clears most packs. For strong elites and bosses; I strip their armor, build up rage, do the 2 war cries and land a hammer of the gods on them.
I'm now focusing on survivability nodes mainly and my goal to wield a 2H mace with shield, so more strength as well. The increased ascendancy passive that increases small nodes will be huge for that, but I haven't found a 10 lvl ultimatum yet and I don't feel like bothering with t3 Sekhema as a warrior, at least not until the patch is out.
I still have to get my feet wet with trading, but I need my coins that are stuck on a merged account first. Still waiting on GGG support for that.

Something I still haven't figured out: the passive tree shows 6 distributable weapon set 1 points, but when I select it, I can't actually distribute them. What is preventing it?

50 hours in and still in Act 3, taking my sweet time with this one. Wonderful game.

Boggles the mind if this even becomes half the game it has the potential to be. Will probably end up being my goty.
It's one of my fav games already, truly amazing.

Good gameplay, visuals and music. Tons of chances for player expression with all the skills, items, pasives, etc that you can customize as much as you like.

And the orb system which is fun as fuck. I love this game.

So, this build applies to early game as well?
Yeah, the guide shows an early game version to use before you unlock access to Raging Spirits. You can get by okay with Skeleton Warriors and Archers + Unearth in the very early levels, and definitely equip Skeletal Arsonists and Flame Wall as soon as possible. The Arsonists in particular felt like a huge upgrade, and as you gain more Spirit you can use more of them.

I'm at level 33 now and only died twice so far. The bosses have all been pretty easy, just keep dumping Flame Wall on them nonstop!

That feel when I spent 130ex on gear and I still feel squishy in white waystones, still don't have capped chaos resist and only have 1400hp. I love Path of Exile but it always makes me feel terrible in terms of never feeling like I can solve my defenses enough to do end game bosses. I never finished the basic end game (unlocking the 5 slot map device) in PoE1 either.

I've been gaming on PC since '96. I was used to WASD since Half-life. Analog sticks for movement is just way more comfortable and accurate for me. I tried WASD back to back vs a controller and my survival rate was way better with the analog stick.

Idk why I would have any advantage by using skills with my right thumb over all 4 of my left fingers. I use the two buttons in the inside of my mouse for my flasks. My desk is pretty large and I have no issue typing if needed. I play solo 99% of the time anyway.

I'm at that point as well, just with only 10% of chaos resist. Any map with cultist enemies on them is like Vietnam for me.

I have a lot of gear optimizing yet to do. The problem is that I like all my gear items for one reason or another, so I don't know what piece I could replace to start trying to get some more chaos resist.

For the higher end lev 40+ warriors what is your choice. 2h or 1h/shield. I started 2h then went 1h lev 10-20 and 20-38 I’ve been back at 2h but I’m thinking as it gets harder later on 1h/shield might be better. I’m at some decisions for the skill tree.

Are you at that point in which you can pick between passives that increase one handed damage or two handed damage? I picked one handed, the shield is great. Not just for blocking, the skill that makes it spill magma whenever you "parry" with it does a lot of damage if you've specced into fire damage and penetration, ignites and also very often leaves the enemy primed for stun.

Depends, I had a really bad build and I was thinking about rerolling for the 3rd time at lev 42, then I spent some money on respec and now I'm having fun with a spell crit bone build, I think that is really easy to destroy your build but you ca respec later

as of current prices, is it better to do currency exchange thru merchant or just do trade? i suppose ill find out later tonight when i jump on but just curious
I'm doing it through trade. Haven't tried the merchant, I prefer the user interaction.

Length of gaming has no real argument here. I'm not saying you should switch as you're comfortable playing that way you're (which is totally fine). However, this to me comes down to a similar argument regarding console games claiming they can aim better with an analog stick versus a mouse. In POE2 case, this game requires skill shots for almost every skill. Again, it is totally fine to prefer something over the other as you're used to.
