Haven't had that problem, but I reduced rendering resolution to 1440p from the start.

Hubs are always low performance.

In terms of gameplay, only the mausoleum boss had performance issues.

I get tearing sometimes, tho. And antialiasing is generally not good on base PS5.
It's pretty smooth when I'm not throwing grenades but when I am, I get a huge fps drop. I also dropped the rendering as well.

I'm seriously thinking of traveling with my PC next time...

Man, I only yesterday found out, by accident, that there are indeed public parties you can join.

That was all I really wanted more from this game, a way to group up with random people at random moments and where I can just drop out whenever.

Game is much more fun in co-op.
I've no idea how. This is like d2 co-op, pretty nice

Got 2 hard locks (had to force turn off) on my laptop yesterday and today, when portalling to town.
Also, when I am in the Guild Stash and try to assign a skill to a Gem, it crashes on PS5. Didn't try on PC.

Found a staff with +4 to all fire skills when farming the ninth treasure that keeps on giving. Hadn't had anything with +anything before that and not used a staff yet, but when I go back to leaning into fire again I'm going to enjoy playing with that as the secondary equip.

Anyone else have an issue picking up things from the guild stash? When I add items, I'll throw something in and then try to re-organize it slightly. But sometimes I won't be able to pick up certain items. Like almost any item I can pick up and move but certain items won't be able to. It's weird. So if u see weirdly spaced, unorganized rows, it was possibly me lol

Ps. Trading is OP. Might be addicted.

I've had weird stuff like that in the guild stash when wanting to tidy things up a little. Thought it was maybe permissions/levels, but not noticed it go away.

Trading does look amazing, but also kind of goes against what makes these games work for me - even the guild stash stuff was a bit of a shock to the system. Maybe if trading was an automated process once you set it up (only have it go live if they want to barter) like the currency conversions... just looks like there's a tiny bit too much hassle doing that efficiently on console without a keyboard and mouse handy. I watched people trading in the videos and they had the deals done before I'd even pull the chat up lol. Maybe it's just too alien to me and it'd be fine. I'll have to at least try it out at some point.

Seriously. If I knew what I could have gotten, I would have saved my 10+ exalts that I used during the campaign. Just one exalt buys you crazy strong gear on the market.
yeah it was a lot easier once i realized there's a god damn stat filter on the right side of the page. i missed that the first time i looked at the page and was sifting thru bs after bs originally lol

One thing I like to do is search for corrupted gear with 2 sockets. That's an easy way to get resists up. Lots of times, people try for corrupted items for super mega results but only get a mid result and then want to dump the item as fast as possible.

You can also search by what currency people are using. I like to see what people are trying to sell for alchemist, vaal, or regal orbs and try to see if I can get a deal.

I can’t seem to get my damage up with the gas grenade build, I borrow gear from the guild stash so I should be fine, but mobs and bosses takes forever to kill and I’m just in act 2 and lvl 30. Anyone wanna look at my gear or skills and tell what the hell I’m doing wrong 😑

On your gas grenade, use Corrosion (poison damage breaks armor), Armor Explosion (Armor Breaks cause an fire explosion), and Comorbidity (Poisons have +1 stack but less duration). You will armor break and explode everything quickly, assuming your Crossbow damage is high enough.

For your crossbow, use one with the highest physical damage possible.

That's just how I use gas grenades, but it's possible that you were looking at a guide that utilizes ignite gas grenades more?

Ziggy has a pretty good beginner guide.

I'm playing as a ranger, but maybe it's the same ?

Speaking of leveling guides, Raxx just made one for minion Witch. He's right, this is a super easy class for beginners if you're tired of dying all the time.

I've been using Witch as an alt when I want a change of pace from BOOM BOOM mercenary, and it's easy as fuck.

Question for the guild members -

I feel like a lot of the newer players are running out of money, and since trading money is not allowed, it's hard to help out new players who want to respec.

Would it make sense to add an additional tab where I can dump high level trash magic items for new players to sell. IF they need emergency cash?

Edit - Speaking of which... lol

will do that right now :D If i can afford the respec haha

Let me know if you need money haha

that's fine. id be down to contribute as i come across stuff. another thought : idk if there's enough interest as everyone surpasses level 20, but that 1-20 tab is cramped. perhaps split it up to 1-20 weapons tab + 1-20 armor tab? just a thought especially if people try new characters. don't know if it's worth it though since there's obviously a lot of stuff in there already and people outgrow that stuff fairly quickly

Some complaints:

Mapping is not very fun. Even the last time I played PoE1, in 2016, mapping was much better. You had cool unique maps to find, you could play certain levels as much as you want as long as you had the maps, etc.

Mapping in PoE2...move a long a giant, infinite, overworld with no rhyme or reason and use tablets on towers, to incentivize you to stick around in that area a bit longer. So far, the tablets are nothing crazy, AND they are insanely rare. I'm sure this is just a stepping stone as it's definitely still early access. I'm positive they have a lot more in line for end game. Some things I've heard, but not experienced myself as I am not level 90+ (74). By the time you finally get points to put into each sub tree in the atlas, your build is basically godly, as to get points you have to kill the breachlord first to unlock the breach tree. Just seems kind of backwards, have to beat the hardest boss of each mechanic to unlock 1 point in a tree.

But yea I'm finding end game kind of boring.

That's a good idea too. Would it make sense to do 1-10 gear, and 11-20 gear, or 1-20 Armor and 1-20 Weapons, in your opinion?

Maybe I'll do 1-10 Weapons normal tab, 1-10 Armor normal tab, and 11-20 Gear Quad tab?

I’m pure gas arrow ranger…Melting packs am bosses. I dont need to stop, just 2-3 arrows and move on…they die eventually. I dont even need to aim…shoot before you see the pack 😀

Yes, don't get me wrong, gas arrow is super strong, but the playstyle is kind of hard to grasp for some players.

yeah either one. any of those solve the problem. i just got a few decent pieces as i was leveling and there was no room to add lol. so i got rid of 1 or 2 things that weren't as good.

you could even do just 1 normal for 1-10, and do quad for 11-20 since 1-10 will be outgrown quickly

Okay! Now we have a lot more gear in our level 11-20 Gear Library, and we also have a quad tab for trash magic gear that anyone can take and sell if they need some quick $$$$ because they're fucked because they don't have enough money to respec.

Ok, so about the precursor tablets... Do we know if they either replace the existing buffs or if they stack on top of the previous ones?

I see our 31-40 gear library is getting pretty full too.

I can see a case to be made that 31-40 is a critical time because that is when a lot of people's builds are starting to come online and when they might also want to experiment with other stuff.

Perhaps we should split that into Lv 31-35, and Lv 36-40?

Thoughts?

I'm new to POE and having loads of fun. I'm not looking at any build guides on first play through so i can just focus on fun.

I feel I'm doing pretty decent. Only died a handful of times to bosses. Think I'm close to end of ACT 2.

For big packs I just launch my nades, shooting 4 out at a time with 6 cooldown uses. Then before some of them start going off i use galvanic shards to start shocking damage etc (combined with Thunder herald) This has been deleting packs pretty well. Certain enemies i will switch to armour break combo , High velocity etc.

I feel my Gear is all over the shop in terms of how good it is.

Tor Gul, the Defiler more like Tor Gul, the deleted ......Took him down pretty quick.

Early days but hopefully I'm on the right track.

Dude this engame is ruthless. You can do great in one map only to die like a tard on the next one, losing any progress you could have made on the previous one.

Would love for it to have more short-term stuff. Right now it seems like all I can do is clear maps hoping for a drop that allows me to progress on either of the endgame mechanics, which isn't that appealing to me tbh. Right now I have to look for three cities and I don't even know where they could be, so all I can do is try to advance aimlessly on the atlas.

Gameplay is very, very fun. By far the best I've ever seem on an ARPG. But man I'd love for them to add more stuff to the endgame, specially something more short-term so you feel like you are making progress more often.

Use the exalts that drop to trade for better gear.
I don't mean better gear. Aren't I supposed to get items doing rifts and delirium that will allow me to progress on their atlas passive trees? I'm not sure how to progress on those tbh.

Aside from that, I can still look for the cities and try to unlock the big tower, which I guess contains the final boss of the endgame. But just trying to find them without any clue of where they could be sounds kinda boring.
