I don't know when this started, but new uniques they're adding get matching 3D models from the start now, but there's a backlog of old uniques that have yet to be updated. It's slow going, made worse by alternate art variants.Sometimes this game really knows to get you all excited only to bring you down moments after.
I found this sweet staff thinking "Oh, sweet looking ice staff!" only to find out the actual model is a bed pole. Why don't the models represent the artwork more.

You can search for an item on the ingame trading board and make an offer. The other person either accepts it or not. (tip: Toggle the "show online players" option on during the search)Does trading on Xbox work the same way?
Yup. They did touch it a couple times before, but I don't know what they could possibly do to fix it. They already tried to reduce it down to 60% before, but they waked that back. Instant leech is just inherently broken, not just because it's instant, but because it's a simple solution.*Vaal Pact and reflect damage needs to be reworked, it's a long ass time coming. This is something that might actually happen because it gets brought up often.
.
My Bleed Cyclone Slayer felt good, but I only made it to 71 before I had my unfortunate strongbox accident... I guess it falls off bad, huh? Poison I haven't looked at at all.*Ailment changes were atrocious. Enough said. This also corresponds to the new uniques in the patch which are almost all ailments based which makes them kinda dud at the moment.
Yeah, every single build I've seen and every single advice about bandits suggests to go for the skill points. The other options are just not good.*I don't like the new bandit system, I feel that the non 2 skill points are pretty underwhelming even if you build makes use of them. I think that the options should be buffed to include the charges back and give us a 3rd skill point to compensate for the inclusion of charges in the other categories.
Trade macro is the best for checking stats and prices on items. https://github.com/PoE-TradeMacro/POE-TradeMacro
Need to run the game in borderless for it to work though, which is a shame because I get so much better performance in fullscreen. =/
As for trading, you find the item you need on poe.trade, press the whisper button under it and paste the message in the game and it sends a message to the guy saying you want that item. He then invites you, you go to his hideout and you trade.
I finally finished act 10 on Xbox one it was painful since new to the game and the trade system is so bad. Act 9 and 10 were just brutal since could not get any decent drops. Is there anywhere to farm before maps since I assume t1 will destroy my under geared character. Basically until things change its basically self found. I just need a place to get level appropriate gear so I can survive t1 and actually kill things with out having to blast them with a ton tornadoes. Not expecting anything good just something not beyond bad I have now. It's frustrating the the development team let this awful trade system go live since the game basically forces trade to make progress at a reasonable rate.
In my experience if you can kill Kitava, you can handle the first couple map tiers.
What was that purple thing in a map? I touched it and there was a circle that didn't stop expanding. Everything inside was black and white with a crap ton of shadow monsters inside. I kinda panicked since I didn't know WTF was hapleninf and died. I went back and it was peaceful. What did I miss by dying?

I'm brand new to this game and genre (never played diablo). What's a popular templar build that's easy to make for a noob?
Breaches may as well not exist as end game objectives in this league. They are fun to do, but far too rare and you need way too many splinters to access the end bosses.
Shame as I much prefer them to harbingers, who've been a complete flop as far as I can see. The new currencies are great, but harbingers themselves are dull as ditchwater.

The chance is 1 in 1200 but of the dozens or so 6 links I have done in the past, never have I gone past 1200 fusings required. This is the experience of most other people too. I would say on average I get an item 6 linked around the 500-600 range and often it's before that. I mean I was suggesting that Vorici cost be reduced to 1200 to match the actual mathematical chance and I would think even THAT is a noob trap (but a reasonable noob trap at least). Why is 1500 fuses for Vorici a noob trap? Not challenging the assumption, I genuinely don't know. As far as I understand, you need ~1200 fuses on average for a 6 link on a 20% quality item, don't you? 1500 for a safe 6 link doesn't seem so outrageous in comparison?

It's just much more economical trying to fuse manually than to use Vorici. Like if you have 1500 fusings in your bank ready to 6 link... then if you try to manually link it then it's possible that you can get 2-3 6 links.
T1 maps really aren't anything special.
I'm a lot more threatened by those enemies in the factory/mines in A9 that throw white fire. I've been clearing T4 maps and went back to that area in A9 and almost died.
20 quality? Damn son you are a special kind of unlucky.Across 5 characters I've used over 8000 fusings to try and 6 link items. I've gotten one 6 link. I'd say the noob trap lies in not using vorici.
Guess what dropped?
Not really convinced by this to be honest. You got lucky and that's about it.The chance is 1 in 1200 but of the dozens or so 6 links I have done in the past, never have I gone past 1200 fusings required. I got one of those boxes yesterday, the fire lagged the fuck out of me when i opened it and i got blown up lol
I got the boots when i went back.
This one: http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/TheKeyPit/video/36150930King Kaom sealed my love of the game for me.
It's the first time I've actually had to think about what I was doing, the first time I had to be a little bit strategic about how I played, still beat him on my first go, but if this is a sign of things to come, I am down!
20 quality? Damn son you are a special kind of unlucky.
If it took me 8K fusings to 6 link only 1 item then I would've quit the game a long time ago.
Like think about it... at 8K Fusings for 1 link, that's 4K Chaos for a 6 link. You can get a 6 link for like 300-400C easy. So then why would anyone actually manually link themselves?
I got fucking destroyed running Poorjoy's today. I mean really fucking destroyed. Immediately one hit entering any room kind of destroyed. Bit of a waste but live and learn.
Those sparkly things are my pet(microtransaction). That thing following me around is a Lightning Golem. It can be summoned by using the skill Summon Lightning Golem. It grants more Attack Speed and does some other stuff, too. That's him!, mine took a little longer than that!!!
FWIW, how do you get those sparkly things around your character?, and what's that thing following you around.
It's not just me, that's what most people experience who play the game. Talk to any high end PoE player, streamer or just in general who has played the game a long time, they will tell you the same. Not really convinced by this to be honest. You got lucky and that's about it.
