PCGaf: 2 years after launch, who doesn't have neither ps4 nor xb1 still?

edit: 1 year! I'm a dog. dog's can't count!

Actually had the destiny ps4 bundle preordered... then I played the beta on ps3... and decided to wait for reviews.

Haven't really found any other reason to spend $300+ for a console in 2014. Maybe next year which i hope ps4 exclusives turn out ok and they actually put some effort into their holiday bundles.

Did pick up a mario kart wii u bundle though + got good deals on pretty much all the must own games (missing just donkey kong) for under $600 total.

I would be without but my great friend for many years picked us both up the destiny bundle back in september. Since then I have 600+ hours logged in the game and my PS4 is ready to fall apart at the seams

EDIT: Also only the Wii U launched 2 years ago

I briefly owned a PS4 but ended up selling it after playing the Destiny beta. Currently have a Wii U for smash.

Still don't.
Wanted Halo 5 for 4p offline MP and Destiny. But since halo won't have 4p MP offline and destiny was kinda boring, I haven't.

I'm thinking I might get a Wii U next Christmas.

Had all 3 last gen.

Nah. Probably gonna get a PS4 for Xmas 2015 or so but apart from that I'm more than busy with the PC and 3ds games on my list.

Do I count as PCGAF of I never skip Nintendo and Sony consoles? In that case, I still don't own a PS4 and I'll upgrade my PC before I buy one. No must have games for me yet.

PC gamer here, still don't own a XB1 or PS4. MS just never has exclusives I like (same reason I skipped the 360). Sony probably will eventually but it hasn't happened yet. I'm waiting for a Dragon Quest game to get released for it first (in the West - which means I will probably be waiting a very, very long time :/).

Right now i don't. It's the first gen where i haven't bought a console.

I'm very tempted at getting a WiiU but sadly, i have little opportunity for couch coop nowadays. I think i'll end up with at least one of the next gen consoles eventually. But right now, i'm in no hurry.

I have a PC and then the only console offering me enough games to differentiate it from PC....the WiiU.

Why would I buy consoles to play games I already can play but do it with a worse res/framerate when I can already output my PC to an HDTV and play with a pad....

Well after Bloodborne bombed I was like no thanks!

But seriously, I'll probably be buying one this year if Bloodborne lives up to the hype.

I want a WiiU as well but the problem I have with both systems is 1. I don't want to buy a WiiU and have the successor to come out in 2-3 years and 2. I'm worried that Sony's current status could affect the Playstation Division.

I know those are stupid reasons but at least they help me wait for hardware revisions.

I have neither.
I consider a new console after 3-5 amazing games are released that I can't play on my current systems. So far, there's been 0.

(I own a PC, Wii U, 3DS, Vita and an iPad.)

Nintendo home console revisions are usually disgraceful :x Wii lost GameCube compatibility, and then Wii Mini lost access to Internet and component output. GameCube also lost component output eventually. NES2 last A/V output too. It's weird.

I don't, there's simply not enough interesting exclusives out yet.

At the moment it's a very good position to be a PC gamer, while MS and Sony have 'exclusive wars' the PC gets the majority of games from this outfall.

Wait for the end of the cycle of the console. as you will then get the true exclusives that aren't hindered by some petty publisher deal.

win-win in my books.

I bought a PS3 in 2009 when Uncharted 2 was about to come out, and I also wanted to play Folklore and Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted 1.

I don't own a PS4 and I don't know if the PS4 will have 3 games I really want to play when Uncharted 4 comes out.

pc's all i have and that's not going to change

the console games that i care about, which are few, are coming to pc anyway

i'm not going to pay to play online like the console plebs

I have a Wii U but no plans on either of the other 2 anytime soon. Everyone I know has a One, but MCC is a mess and is the only game that would make me buy one.

I've been a Playstation fan since my launch PS1, but I don't trust them much as a company these days. Most of their exclusives look like let-downs so far.. I don't the The Order will break that trend, but Bloodbourne looks great. Not buying a PS4 for 1 game though. I'll probably cave for FF15, but if a PC version ever gets announced I don't see me buying a console this gen.

I got a WiiU instead (Thanks to my nephew falling for the PS4 hype)

I'm not buying a Xbox One and PS4 this gen it seems, PC and Nintendo will make me enjoy the best of both worlds. Plus, I'm finally connecting my PC to my TV due a 10m HDMI cable. Also bought a bluetooth HID to connect my WiiU Pro controller to the PC.

Steam Big Picture <3
