Seriously, the guy is incredibly naive if he doesn't think that web site will come back to bite him in the ass at work some day.
I didn't talk to the guy, but I couldn't help but overhear his conversations with my co-workers (such is life in cubicle-land). I felt sorry for him because the co-workers obviously got a kick out of giving him a hard time, and they cut him down mercilessly when he wasn't around. Having Tourette's certainly didn't help him either.

Hello folks.
I'm that 'chick' who replies to Andy's journal. He is my friend and is not hurting anyone with his (albiet unhealthy) infatuation with Peach.
We've had a lot of people from here hounding our journals with spiteful comments. I would like to ask you to stop. Live and let live. There are a lot worse things people can do than have crushes on video game characters.

I dont know if those two quotes are are aimed at gaming-age, but girl, SA is one of the craziest website on the internet. Those guys are the source of all evil, so once again, I want to re-etire that I highly doubt that GAfers went to andy's and his friends linejournals to post all sorts of crude comments. SA is known for 'raids' on web sites like that.

GA can be a harsh place, but not that kind of harsh... I really doubt that raids comes from regulars here.

But, englis_peach, let me tell you something. If you are a friend you must know that letting him to embrace his fantasy so much will probably lead him to a deep sadnees. Hope not, hope he can live happily all his life with that fantasy and all... but he seems is putting a lot of real and deep feelings in something that is not real, is not the first time I see it, and results are not good, in the best of cases, and very bad in the worst cases.

Um am I the only one who noticed he has a FAQ on why he hates Daisy and Talim? I find that even weirder then the Peach obsession.

Thanksgiving dinner was nice. ..We had a huge turkey, and plus a lot of other things Maid Zukin threw together. ..It was so good. We invited Waluigi and Devil Zukin to come, and er, Daisy and Talim as well. Needless to say, those two were all over me almost the entire time. Anyway, the day after that, it was time for Xianghua to leave. ..She says she'll be back in time for Christmas. ..I sure hope so. ..I miss her a lot, but I think I'm taking it better than when Peach was gone. The Fire Faerie must be bummed out a lot though, even though she doesn't show it much. ..I know she misses her tons though, especially, since those two are like, such close friends. ..Xianghua's been gone for a few days now. I wonder what she does on her training like this..

First off, if you put your personal words and drawings online for public consumption, be prepared to be subjected to some not so nice words and sentiments. That's just the risk one must be willing to take.
Plus, on LJ, there are ways to keep lurkers from posting, or even seeing any content. If the attention is indeed a big problem, then tell him to utilize those means of control.
And finally, what Gaijin To Ronin said is extremely valid. Putting too much faith in emotion into something fantastical can have extremely negative effects. If you value your friend, I think you owe to him, and yourself, to sit down and examine the possibility of a deeper problem if there is one.

It makes no sense to me. My only theory is if Peach is the "pure, untainted love" then Ulala must represent the sensual, lustful love and Xianghua the longing, always chasing love. So Talim and Daisy must be his inner most darkest fantasy sort of love. Considering the what we're even talking about, this fantasy must be in a very, very, very dark place.
