Why would this even matter when the new Xboxes are the only ones you can buy at retail stores now & it really shouldn't be that hard to tell the difference between the word Series & "One"

Based on the guy's reddit comments she bought an Xbox One S from Facebook and bought the game from Amazon. He deleted the post because he was getting roasted but his comments are still on his profile.
He mentions that he didn't know Xbox One had S and X models, but he also says he thoroughly explained it to his wife.
I don't get it. She was told the name of the xbox to get, then again to make sure, then bought the correct product. I honestly don't understand the point of the thread.
"Shortly thereafter she finds one for sale locally, and buys it, and buys the game on Amazon new."
What "one" did she find for sale locally? The guy is trying to call out Xbox for their shit naming conventions (and he's right), and then maybe troll his wife a little, but he fails to adequately communicate the most important part of the story.
That's been my strategy. The only time I've had an X-Box in my house was when I borrowed an X-Box 1 (not to be confused with X-Box One) from my friend to play Ninja Gaiden and KotR. He he got it $50 with a bunch of games at a yard sale.
