People are streaming "shows" via PS4 twitch..

One thing that could be a bit worrying as well is that with a pc, in most cases, I assume, people would have to go to a stream site, create an account etc. While that isn't hard, it's an initial barrier. They would basically have to want to do it, or have the idea to do it as well, since starting to stream on PC generally isn't something you can do by mistake.
With the PS4 on the other hand, a lot of kids are gonna either own one or borrow one from parents, siblings etc. And with PS4, I would assume that with a bit of fumbling in the menus, they could start a stream by mistake.

However, I don't really know how you start a stream on PS4, so I could be wrong. But I assume that it's easy?

When did it happen? because I was watching the stream at the end & I never seen him strip her fully nude.

PM me the picture

I don't know dude, there's somethings you gotta resist fapping to. -__-

Just banning or limiting playroom streaming would reduce the amount of madness. Every other game is just the game, unless other playroom like titles come out.

It was bound to happen sooner or later although it is lessened by the fact that the camera isn't bundled in.

There ya go. No one has to go out and buy the streaming hardware anymore, thus, it's open to the masses now.

Streaming hardware? you can do this from your Smartphone , Tablets , PC's just about anything with a camera & the software, have you all been living in the dark ages or something?

lol, I love this thread! we went from "zomg, sony made a mistake not to bundle the console with the cam!" to "meh, it's getting old, do not care anymore!" in just 24 hours!

this is truly next gen!

sony already did something. they gave twitch 20 million dollars (or sony/ms both did, don't remember) to deal with this kind of shit. it's up to twitch to work it out.

Its not just about it getting old, look at what's coming from it. Some pretty dark stuff(right in this thread) I try to avoid some of this trolling stuff as much as possible I.e 4chan but lots of people in here are egging it on throwing their popcorn at the screen. :/

For the record I do think the Spartan show is, bearable, to a degree, but it is going no where fast.

Looks like we will have XGen Studios, creators of Super Motherload and Pete Dodd aka famousmortimer joining us tonight on our show via call in.

So if you guys want to check us out, I think we have SOMETHING else to offer other than singing, nudity, and drug use. Also we have free digital games to give away of Super Motherload.

http://www.twitch.tv/jed05 at around 8pm EST. See you there.

How many people utilized that? You cannot honestly say that streaming hasn't just become infinitely more viable to just about everyone because it's now standard on the console. Thus, open to the MASSES, not open to the few who wanted to get involved with it prior.

Every idiot with a ps4 can now easily do it as opposed to before.

Can you get a call in with fake Gies cause he is kind of a big deal:P

Had to happen sooner or later. The inventor of the video camera never would have calculated that his invention would be used for porn. The playroom creators must be having a meeting right now.

Sony will ban streaming as the potential of lawsuits by activists and bad PR is huge.

@pictures of the wife; if she willingly stripped I think it's morally okay to scout for the pictures and "observe", but in this case there is no consent. Imagine her horror when she gets to find out. I think we all need to be civil about this and leave the woman and her pictures alone. She was passed out for gods sake!

I wasn't addressing you in particular, yesterday (or early this morning) people already lost interest rather quick once the novelty of "he said my name out loud! weee!" wore off. not trying to judge anyone, I just express how I'm entertained by this thread and its highs and lows in such a short time.

that it'll turn that dark that fast I didn't expect. but I'm not worried it'll come to drastic consequences, after all, justin.tv still exists after the bodybuilding.com-live suicide-incident.

I couldn't make it to 3 minutes in that stream, whats wrong with u guys? lol

No idea, someone linked it here so I watched it for 30 seconds and saw that. :P

I have watched the drunk guy stream, some adorable kid playing and Spartan for a few minutes. That's about it so far.

Not sure why I've been watching these playrooms for like 2 hours. Reminds me of like 1994 when AOL chat rooms were magical or dialing into a BBS for the first time and realizing people could respond to you.

LOL, I lived through that... 1993... the same year people discovered Conan O'Brien on NBC :)

Sony shouldn't shut down streaming because of a few idiots. There needs to be a report button so that twitch can ban via IP address. The streaming is awesome especially some of the shows via playroom. This is cool tech. Let it thrive but ban those who abuse it.

My niece has just turned 11, I'd say, without any exaggeration, 80%-90% of her friends are on Skype, Youtube, Facebook (videos) and whatever.

It really surprised me, I'm the one into tech, but it seems the upcoming generations don't even think of it in those terms, it's just part of everyday life. Even the schools are involved, they do their homework online, or send it in via e-mail, schools also put up their artwork, poetry etc. online, which anyone can leave comments on.

Actually made me feel quite old and out of touch, and I'm only in my thirties!

Yep you been living in the dark ages the masses has been doing this for over 10 years.

i think anything with the playroom is going to be insta turned off on twitch sooner then later lol

Yeah probably the most realistic option for Sony/twitch. Still.. I would think and hope they'd considerate allowing it but controlling it - move Playroom content to other categories or to Ustream by default. Ban IPs and consoles (from streaming access) when TOS is violated. There's a positive potential for Sony in this too. Still they might take the easiest option and cut it unfortunately.

Yeah, like for certain games when you press the share button something like USTREAM/JUSTIN.TV pops up since it can easily divert from non-gaming stuff..it would probably be a good way to solve it ..if you grey out twitch for certain stuff.

This will be our generations HAM radio. Before people had to be sort of technical to purchase the equipment needed to do this kind of stuff.

That would make it this generation's CB radio. You still need technical knowledge and a radio license to be a HAM radio operator.

Spot on.
I'm old enough to remember that, early 90's, no internet (that we could access), just fired up the CB for someone to talk to, or just plain talk crazy shit to try to get a laugh.

Me to, had a massive antenna attached to my drain pipe - used to love staying up late and chatting on my CB.

Good times.
