First of all anytime I try to connect to a quick match it takes 5-6 times of getting a failed to connect message,then when I finally do get in a game its like 3 people sitting in a lobby,then the game will start and it will be 5 on 1 or some stupid shit.

It doesn't matter if I choose "Player Match" or "Ranked Match" I get the same half baked results,so yea,wtf am I missing?This game totally sucks online from my experience so far,Halo's matchmaking system just makes this seem so amateur-ish.

I don't think so...the online menu is as barebones as it comes,you got quick match for Deathmatch/Darkops then create a session and the leaderboard...

I still can't get into this game really,how the hell can someone take 2 full clips from duel pistols and live,the game just doesn't sit right with me =\

Well, since you, me and krypt0nian just played about 6 matches, I guess you've got it figured out. I haven't had those problems, but I've only played in private games so far. Personally, I think the PDZ multiplayer kicks Halo 2's ass so far.

Ramirez is good, by the way! I think he won about 5 of 6.

I've been getting a ton of "failed to connect to game" errors. Do I need to adjust my Live settings (other games work fine tho), or is it patch time for Rare?

Yes, big time failure to connects... It was kind of doing that with my other games too but nothing as bad as PDZ. I managed to play plenty of PGR3 and COD2 online.

Yeah you can. You can do that with ALL the games. Just go to your dash, then to your friends list. Choose the friend that is creating the game and there should be a"join session" option.

even though I don't have a 360, I would imagine that the failure to connect problem is similar to what happened to me with H2, Its a NAT error between 2 people. basically you need to get someone else to host the party and you both join, rather than the person you are not compatible with (or you) hosting.

total guess but I can't see how it would be a different situation.
