Persona 5 |OT2| Someone must have been helping you go to bed early. Talk!

LOL I totally did. Having free time in the evening is way better than some old lockpick. Tbh I think you can make a 2nd one easy in
the last level of mementos before the final door.

Yeah, it wasn't the end of the world, but that was a lot of running around mementos that I didn't want to do.

So is there an arcana fusion chart in game that I'm missing? It would be so nice if I can pick Personas to fuse from the Compendium, check if I like the result, then actually summon them. I have to keep reloading to guess which Personas will come out without paying the summoning fee.

Just wanted to gush how good this game looks on OLED. With all the blacks in the art style the infinite contrast is really looking great and the reds and blues really pop. I'm grinding away at palace 4 at about 40 hrs and not wanting it to end.

Question regarding a certain confidant at the end of July:
How do I unlock the star confidant? I know there's a church where you get to meet her. Overheard two students talking about the place. Will it just pop up as a place eventually?

You'll get it in a text conversation eventually. It's one of the ones that pops up automatically, if I remember correctly, so you can't miss it.

End-game spoilers, I guess:

I might've stumbled upon the name of the final boss -- not sure if it actually is, but in case I did, how big of a spoiler would this be? Then again, maybe answering the question is itself a spoiler... I'm at the beginning of December, for reference.

Speaking of Palace 6 again
Sae only staffs her club with ridiculously chesty women apparently

My interpretation:
Sae is a super serious career woman, so she likely looks down on servers in casinos as being hired exclusively for their looks (or more severely than is common, as that's hardly going to be a rare opinion), thus they are super exaggerated, as with everything about Shadows.

Just the name of the final boss isn't really a meaningful spoiler.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. Without context it's meaningless.

Oh Jesus fuckin' Christ. What bellend at Atlus thought this enemy would be a good idea? These enemies are single handedly ruining the dungeons. What is the point?
Are you sure you're not underleveled? Didn't experience any of the things you mentioned for why you're having trouble with 4, 3 was a bigger difficulty spike. Also don't agree on the character or layout issues, but to each their own.

November End

Why isn't
Sae a party member instead of this useless sack of potatoes called Haru.

Like holy shit, she even experienced the metaverse (sorta). You could even give her the Empress Arcana.
This is BS.

Comments like this are why you've always been the worst, Taruranto.

... Just make an Isis, they null both bless and curse damage. And get a Persona with masukukaja or masukunda if agility is really that big of a problem.

The game will never throw anything at you that you can't deal with.

It's a damn useful Persona and the best counter to Anubis. Dude is complete trash against you since he only uses curse and bliss attacks.

It's 7th of June, and I still only have two Mementos missions. I heard it was best to stockpile them before going in, but I'm getting concerned. Am I missing something, or should I continue waiting?

Doing my compendium filling and there are so many amazing end-game personas that I don't want to clear them out to make more space for fusions lol. It's a crime that the game doesn't have any extra super tough stuff to use them on
a single battle with the twins doesn't count.

I agree with him. I couldnt care less about Haru. But I was game for the Nijima sisters in my har...party.

I think most people I've seen in this thread are pretty apathetic towards Haru. The game's fault, unfortunately. There's not too much there to make her endearing or remarkable in any way, and what's there is pretty plain.

I didn't finish her Confidant, though, so maybe it goes places other than
her fascination with poop coffee.

Just continue, you'll also get more mementos missions by progressing a few social links so save it for when you have a few.

Sadly her confidant isnt the most inspired...I agree that the game handled her badly, she started promising
with all the beauty thief stuff
but then
her father dies and she is the little sad haru everybody just reminds how sad she is and how orphan she is, all while she does nothing but planting coffee. A shame.

That's not fair.

She plants vegetables too.

I bet you could give almost all of Haru's lines to Ann and no one would notice the difference. :p

False, because 95% of Haru's lines are
"I won't forgive you for killing my father!"
and
"I have to do this in the name of my father!"
neither of which apply to Ann.

I appreciated that
the head of the company turns out to be pretty decent instead of another shitty adult
, but yea, hard to feel super strongly about her even after that blood oath.

I really hope there's an explanation for Morgana
acting like an emotional 10-year old during the September storyline.
It just feels really unearned and illogical. Like I don't feel sympathy for him at all.

That section felt inevitable, but I think it wss handled in such a unjustified way.
basically he's pretty much looking for excuses to leave because he's feeling insecure about his abilities, so much that the moment the least eloquent character and the one Morgana has bullied from the beginning calls him useless and bam, "WOW YOU GUYS, ALL OF YOU DON'T APPRECIATE AT ALL GOODBYE FOREVER" lmao.

I didn't care for any of that at all. He was just being annoying.

"Ugh, everyone is amazed at this new teammate with crazy useful skills that could help us. I guess I'm useless, bye."

Like stop, please.

Edit: ^ Opa-Pa putting it into better words lol.

I got Haru to rank 10 for relationship reasons but there's no doubt that the character feels rather lacking (especially in story scenes, her late arrival does no favours), if the kind girl trope does nothing for you she's pretty lacklustre.
I still enjoyed the social link for what it's worth.

Palace 7 tomorrow, the end is in sight! I think.

That always bugged me, where's the consistency?!

Part of why that's been my least favourite story stretch, felt like forced DRAMA.
Ryuji did nothing wrong!

What are all the books unlocked in Shinjuku by doing activities? I have Flowerpedia, Fishpond Spotter, Batting Science, and Game Secrets, but there's still a blank line in the shop.

Edit: Shit I just realized I'm missing the movie one. Is that the last one?

That is indeed missing from your list and can be purchased in Shinjuku. I don't know if there are any others you're missing, though.

I may not be remembering the order correctly, but isn't
the group's lack of enthusiasm about going after Okumura, stalling the Phantom Thieves' ascent and Morgana's ultimate goals, also a big reason why he's restless? Ryuji sets him off but it felt a little more nuanced than insecurity, given where that story thread ultimately leads.

In the final month now and my confidant ranks are embarrassing, I think? I've got four maxed but aside from those... the rest are still all in the 2-6 range.

There's a confidant in Shibuya that I didn't even see until just last night (
that weird speech guy
). Can't believe I somehow missed a confidant the entire game. Hope I'm not gonna lose some great abilities from him.

Also
incredibly upset that I won't be able to progress Sojiro anymore. I'm only at level 3 kindness, damn. No way I reach max kindness with the short time I have left without neglecting all my other confidants. Fuck.

I didn't sympathize either and I really didn't like
how Ryuji was the catalyst by picking at Mona like he always does?? He did nothing wrong!

his abilities are tied to negotiation so you can get higher level personas than yourself eventually

You're not wrong, but ultimately that just makes (post-dungeon 5 spoilers)
Morgana look like an even bigger shit because the group was totally right to question going after Okumura.

Need some advice here. This is my first Persona game so I made a mistake not focusing on leveling my social stats. I just finished the 2nd castle, but my Guts and Kindness are still at level 1. I'm realizing I lost out on a ton of time and should have leveled some confidants by now. Should I just reroll the game?
