At least Persona 5 is the closest we've come to returning to the tone of P2. Not quite as elegant, and still filled with Hashino-isms, but I think it's a solid effort to compromise between newer and older Persona fans.

Is it just me or is hard mode in this a lot harder than P4G hard? Lots of one-shot enemies early on.

Just finished the game. Game says it took 110 hours but take away a few due to afk.
My god what a fantastic game. Just like with Persona 4, I feel a bit sad that the story is over since the main cast was so much fun to see and watch develop.
NG+ in the future to get that 100% compendium and all maxed confidants.
Then in two years, we will have Persona 5 Golden or something like that lol
I don't know if I'd be infuriated, or find it hilarious if they just add Marie. Not even another out of place add-on cast member, literally just Marie, back, with amnesia, and poetry.
The SLink skill carry over mechanic makes second playthroughs interesting

Seems like it. If you don't get the ambush, odds are you're gonna die. Lots of enemy attacks that do more than your max health.
It gets easier as you go though.

Well, Mementos progress is always halted at enemies from the previous dungeon or earlier, so it's not the perfect metric.

One mistake is, well, hard to recover from. You've really gotta be at the top of your game to proceed.

Her S-link auto unlocks it at a certain level I think. When check enemies she's the one commentating.

Guts, the sooner you progress in Death arcana, the better it will be for your dungeon crawling. Then charm, a fair few later S.Links are locked behind high Charm. Knowledge builds easiest by just trying to raise other social skills in the day time. As for proficiency, just build it alongside your tool-making requirements. Kindness is the slowest burner for a lot of people it seems.

Hoo boy I'm at 10/29 and
things started picking up. Goro found out who the Phantom Thieves are, Sojiro found out, now the gang is going to change Sae's heart and it's the casino from the beginning. Can't wait to see where this is all going. Also, neat that Goro has a lightsabre and his Persona is Robin Hood. I thought he had to show up as someone's Persona somewhere and bam, there it is.
