A dungeon question and an mechanic question

How do I break the wall in Futaba's dungeon to make the mirror's light strike that door? I'm in the room with the slanted balista

Is this new game plus in this like like P4G? I'm mostly interested in retaining your social stats like charm and knowledge and money

Also any PS3 peasants here? *Raises hand and hides*

Just finished the game, my thought

- the last Palace (I mean the one in a person mind) is the worst. The puzzles are dragging far too long and the place is too goddamn big.

- the game lack a proper dungeon to grind exp. So to fuse the very last Persona, you either grind at the very of the game or keep killing Reapers.

- the romance scenes on
Valentines Day
are boring for all partners. I wish there is more diversity in dialogues between characters.

I'm thinking about playing NG+ and get platinum but look like I need a little break.

Takemi's SP regen accessories are godlike. Got an SP Adhesive 3 on everyone and it's saved me from buying/using so many restoratives. They're getting less useful as the game goes on (as they only restore a set amount per turn), but damn if they haven't been worth their weight in gold a hundred times over already.

You should have been able to progress his confidant beyond that at this point. iirc 4 is his peak until
Futaba
joins. You do have to do some coffee stuff before that but I never had to worry about it after that. Not sure what is holding you back at this point.

Yep, finally got him to 5. I had to hang out with him twice even after
Futaba
joined for it to work. Hopefully the rest is smooth sailing.

There is this odd point in the game, when you get the next tier of magic but don't really have enough SP for it to be sustainable in the long term. And the accessories helps a lot here. Especially when you get Tier 3 magic. Diarahan and Mediarahan are really expensive.

You'll get more options to restore SP though.

Post palace 5 spoilers:
I wish Haru SL would have started earlier because Sun Tomatoes are really useful.

I'm not the only one who hates the audio balancing in this game, right?

Why are sound effects so loud and music so quiet? Why can't it be changed, or balanced properly?

Hype songs like Rivers In The Desert just fade into the background if they're that quiet.
Do you have surround sound? I personally didn't have any issues with the audio balancing in 5.1 except for the anime cutscenes.

But... if you don't send the Calling Card, the DLC (treasure) won't appear...

The problem is. When I am going to send a calling card right now. They won't even feel threatened. Their secuirty level will just increase to like 19 % which is way too low to make their treasure appear. They feel too confidant.

I need my MC Raidou & Catherine Ann, screw the overprice right now. It's way too late.

There's no point in sending a calling card. ATLUS has no heart anyway.

I've bought every set of costumes except for the dancing ones after saying I wouldn't :(

I don't really buy much dlc in other games though

I'm trying to get Kawakami to level 10 but she's locked now for some reason. I'm at the start of December. Don't tell me I missed the deadline

What carries over to NG+ ? Do Stats (intellect, strenght, etc) carry over like P4G ?

I'm going for a blind run but I wonder what I can still focus for NG+

- Social Stats.
- Persona Compendium.
- Some Confidant gameplay perks.
- An item that boosts the amount of points you get when hanging out with a confidant.
- Equipment (Weapons, Armor, Accesories)
- Money
- I'm not sure if other items like skill cards carry over, I haven't gone through that screen. Normal items (HP and SP restore and stuff) don't.

And I think that's it.

I regret the Persona 1 purchase, the uniforms look like WWI army suits and the music sucks

There is a rumor going around that the Persona 2 dlc is actually pretty damn cool. It contains a battle theme that makes for a nice change of pace from Last Surprise, some pretty slick costumes, and accessories which have a very situational utility but can be useful nontheless.

Its just a rumor though.

Yeah that's the one I've been using the most, I mentioned before but I really love the victory music from that game

boss was a cake walk lmao. I used a persona 10 lvls above me to buff myself, debuff the boss and finally attack with 3000 damage :)

1.
Haru
sucks.

2. I wish
Shiho
was in the game more.

3.
Akechi
is bae

Holy shit, I was listening to P5 OST and just found out the name of the music for the 4th palace.

The Days When My Mother Was There

Well, at least now I'm really sure who will be my waifu.

Well, at least now I'm really sure who will be my waifu.

She's really the best waifu and her story is the most relevant to the main story.

Skill cards do carry over. Crafting ingredients and treasures do not. I think you covered all the other item categories.

Well after an unfortunate incident today I've installed a new HDD into my PS4 and will now start Persona 5 again from scratch.

RIP my 40 hour save file.

...at least it was only 40 hours I guess.

Just finished
Palace 6 (Casino),
and am going through the post-palace shenanigans. Did I mess up and get a bad ending, or is this how the story is supposed to go?

Post palace 6 spoilers:
You only get the bad ending if you sold out your friends.
There was that point where the game went "You should probably save right now",
and if you did you can just load back up from there, and not sell out your friends this time.

Do Futaba's lines count only when you are in battle or do her spoken lines outside of battle count to? Like the lines she says when she scans a floor.

Also, her moral support ability is pretty badass and helps out a good amount and her help to backup party members isn't bad either.
